Amazing service. Wide selection of lighting. Affordable or extravagant peices. Clearance in august…read moreand september. There is quite the selection of peices online. But to save you time. Just narrow down the search to the particular style you want and come to the store. Service is spectacular here. Upon walking in, i was greeted and helped instantly. There are some beautiful peices here for any price range. The nice part is that everything is hung and lights are on so you can see the full effect. The ceilings are 12 feet high so they are typical of most homes. They have lots of sale items which are typically the last lf the item and are used as displays. These can be bought and taken home the day of sale. Other items if are not carried in stock take about 4 weeks...any sooner and its possible for damage to occur to the lights. I luckily snagged an amazing peice for just $39 regular $450. It was the last of its kind and display but they were doing the clearance to make room for the new inventory which arrives in october. Within one hour i had my peice all cleaned up like new and packaged nicely for transport. They sell all sort of light bulbs here too. So you can get all your needs met on one visit. The difference of here and the chain stores are that the service is spectacular. Theres a wider selection. And you get to see displays in use so that you can visulaize the light they give off. A must visit if you are buying a new home or renovating!

I took the Advanced Bread Making class and it was great! We are split into teams and everyone makes a different style of loaf (or whatever it is that you are learning that day). You can walk around and see what everyone is doing and Celeste, the owner, is guiding you. At the end everyone shares in a family style meal with usually something additional that Celeste made. No clean up just good chats and good food. Take the recipes home and try them out. And if you're considering buying a big ticket item this is a great way to try out some of the machines cause we used so many of them so what a great way to try before you buy! The classes are in the evening so there is no worry if other people bugging staff. Be prepared to stay a little late since we are learning and then enjoying a meal. Totally worth it.

This was my first time at the store as I needed to find citric acid and when I searched it on Yelp…read moreI found people mentioned Barb's Kitchen Centre as a place to check for it. So I walked in and this store is amazing! First the staff were very friendly, everything was very clean and sanitized was provided at the front. There were lots of pots and pans and utensils. All sorts of cooking gadgets, storage gadgets, and baking pans. In the back of the store there is a pantry section, this is where I found the citric acid I needed. They have tons of spices and baking ingredients plus more in the pantry. I found the prices on these items quite reasonable considering this is a smaller local business that is family owned. The aisles were large as well! I highly recommend you check this place out if you're looking for any specialty items or neat gadgets or the next time you want to bake something! Barb's is a must shop!

I had a very pleasant experience with A&B Countertops. The least I can do is give a second side of…read morethe story compared to the only other existing review on yelp. Great customer service. The price was reasonable, and communication back and forth was excellent. I am located in Prince George, so the extra effort to package my countertop on an A-Frame and get it shipped out to me was appreciated. Thanks again!

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. If there is less than one…read morestar, I would give that. After a referral from a friend, I contacted AB Countertops to purchase a bathroom vanity countertop and a small piece for the top of a shower curb. (and mount a sink I provided under the counter). I was asked for the measurements (which I thought strange as there can be all kinds of things custom to each install - i.,e. wall corners not 90 degrees, etc.) While the timelines discussed seemed a bit slow, I realize that ours was just one countertop as opposed to a whole house job. After a call from the salesperson that the countertop was ready, I went to the shop facility to pick up. (no info as to who to see on site) after finally finding someone, they said it will be a few minutes. Then, I could see a worker gluing the sink to the counter (so it was hardly ready to pick up). When this was done, I took the unit home. The sink was poorly attached to the counter - I had to silicone some gaps and was worried that it may fall off when installed on the vanity. Visually, it is acceptable. The shower curb top: I made the measurements my self, and messed up and measured 2" to narrow. Fine, my fault. I tried to contact the salesperson I dealt with 12+ times via email, text and received only one response - that they were busy due to illness; nothing after that. If you don't want to or can't do the work, just tell me, but to not even reply is rude! I finally got a small piece from another granite company, and would recommend them. Stay away from AB Countertops is my advice.
