Service Master was assigned to the insurance claim & they recommended using World Floor Coverings, to replace the floors. My husband & I went to the showroom for World Floor Coverings & met with Mike the owner & Lauren the interior designer. Mike was fantastic to deal with, Service Master sent him over the measurements of our flooring. Mike asked us questions of what type of flooring we were looking, are usage, lifestyle, etc.. Mike was fantastic at answering all of our questions & making suggestions. Mike then introduced us to Lauren the interior designer. She was great. We had brought in a sample of the old flooring & pictures of our home. Lauren helped us figured out, what type of flooring would be best for our family & look amazing in our home. Lauren was also great at asking us questions & answering all of our questions too. On the day of install, Val installed the flooring. Val does beautiful work. His work was very clean, neat & professional. He did a fantastic job. He's a true professional. My husband & I absolutely love our new floors. We are so happy, with our choice. When we go to finish our basement, we will for sure be using WFC for the floors. Oh and the new floors, are dog approved by Jake & Marley. Thank-You to the team at World Floor Coverings!

I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from this business, specifically from an…read moreemployee named Cody. My initial experience--purchasing kitchen flooring--was fine, which gave me the confidence to return for additional flooring for my living room. That was a mistake. I received a quote for the flooring and asked for a quote on installation. Cody said he'd get back to me but never did. I waited over a month, then called and texted just to get the name of the flooring so I could move forward with my renovation--which has now been delayed for months. I never received any response. No return call. No text. Nothing. This level of disregard for a paying customer is completely unacceptable. It shows a serious lack of professionalism and customer care. Once the sale was made, it became clear that follow-up and service were not a priority. I regret spending my money here and would strongly advise others to take their business elsewhere.

Worst. Customer. Service. Ever. If there is less than one…read morestar, I would give that. After a referral from a friend, I contacted AB Countertops to purchase a bathroom vanity countertop and a small piece for the top of a shower curb. (and mount a sink I provided under the counter). I was asked for the measurements (which I thought strange as there can be all kinds of things custom to each install - i.,e. wall corners not 90 degrees, etc.) While the timelines discussed seemed a bit slow, I realize that ours was just one countertop as opposed to a whole house job. After a call from the salesperson that the countertop was ready, I went to the shop facility to pick up. (no info as to who to see on site) after finally finding someone, they said it will be a few minutes. Then, I could see a worker gluing the sink to the counter (so it was hardly ready to pick up). When this was done, I took the unit home. The sink was poorly attached to the counter - I had to silicone some gaps and was worried that it may fall off when installed on the vanity. Visually, it is acceptable. The shower curb top: I made the measurements my self, and messed up and measured 2" to narrow. Fine, my fault. I tried to contact the salesperson I dealt with 12+ times via email, text and received only one response - that they were busy due to illness; nothing after that. If you don't want to or can't do the work, just tell me, but to not even reply is rude! I finally got a small piece from another granite company, and would recommend them. Stay away from AB Countertops is my advice.

This was the only shop in the city that I could find had the parts in stock and at a much better price than other plumbing shops were quoting me to order it in. At that time Lyle also thoroughly explained my options to ensure the unit was kept in good working order by cleaning it and I decided to have him do the work. Lyle and his apprentice showed up exactly when promised to remove the steamer, which took a little more work than anticipated, because of the way the previous owners had installed it. It also took extra work/time to reinstall it because of that, but Lyle stuck to the price originally quoted and only charged me a small amount for a part which was needed for the reinstallation. He is very knowledgeable & experienced. His wife Brenda was also very pleasant to deal with at the shop. Great local business!

I'd give 1.5 stars if possible…read more I contacted Lyle at Bathrooms Unlimited to have him give me a quote for a major plumbing repair in a basement bathroom. He came by and was friendly, very talkative, and seemed to know his stuff. He's accredited with BBB and has been in business a very long time, and it showed. He seemed to have thought through every possible aspect of the job and explained in detail what his thoughts were, when he'd be available, how many guys he'd have working with him, etc. I picked up the quote from him at his store a few days later as well as a list of references - references that he let me choose from an address book filled with previous customers, another good sign. He explained the quote, had it broken down into an itemized list, and showed me around his store. I went home and spoke to many of his past customers and they all said much the same thing: Lyle was more expensive than most, but did an outstanding job and they wouldn't hesitate to hire him again. Just under a week from the time I picked up the quote, after I'd had a chance to compare quotes and consider my options, I called Lyle to tell him that I'd like to hire him for the job. And that's when things went downhill. I don't know if he'd decided he didn't want the job and was trying to brush me off or if he was just having a really bad day, but his demeanour was completely different. He was very short on the phone, borderline rude. He told me that he now wouldn't be able to start my job for at least 2 full months later than he'd said and that if I wanted him we'd have to sign a contract right away and he demanded 50% of the project cost immediately. When I explained that most websites urge people not to give more than 10% or $1000 as a deposit so as not to get ripped off and that I'd be willing to give him 10% now and the remaining 40% when the job began, he said it didn't matter, that's how he does things, then told me to use someone else. So I will. I wouldn't trust someone whose personality is so volatile.
