I've gone to med spas and my face would feel raw. I found Cynthia at the start of this year and I'm so glad I trusted my intuition because not only did I find an esthetician but I found a genuine friend. Her hands are magic and I love that she doesn't try to sell me products that I don't need. She educates me about the products she uses on my skin and I like how she gets happy to see how far my skin has came. Her spot is so cute and it always makes me calm. Her hands are like magic. She makes my body feel less tense and at ease. Her work speaks for herself, but I'm truly thankful to have found a genuine soul. She's a passionate person and truly loves what she does. Check her IG page @skynbycyn.beauty and send her a message to book with her!!! You won't regret it.

However, as most of us know from basic physics, a sticky surface will not adhere properly and needs to be filed off and repainted. I'd have to be crazy to do it again! What a waste of time and money. So thoroughly ticked off.

I personally live in Orange County area but did not bother to drive all the way to Rancho Cucamonga. I would say the service was topnotch because of how they really take good care of their clients. I wanted a facial. I was not interested in medi-services. When making the appt Dane asked me what…read morekind of facial I wanted. I responded, what do you recommend for me, I'm in my 50's. She said DEP. I asked what it was- she said it's just a small part of the traditional facial and she explained what the machine does. She sent a screen shot with the amount for DEP. I said sure. Skip to the day of, my impression of the space is that it's shabby, and didn't look sterile. The room was layed out oddly. I've had lots of great facials. They always have you take off your top/bra to address décolleté - they didn't here. With other facials the lighting is low, usually ambient music plays, equipment is ready to go inc a lamp with magnifier and a steamer. None of that was present. The massage table was pushed against the wall so my right side was pressed to the wall. The bright overhead lights were never turned off. Loud conversations were happening in the hall right outside my room, and the technician left the room about 7 times. Why? I think they were sharing every bit of equipment. It was unprofessional. While the tech was very nice, her facial was like a child pretending to do a facial. There was no mirroring of actions on each side of the face, no precision whatsoever. She asked if I wanted any extractions. I said, iDK, do I need any?! She's looking at my skin! I've never been asked by anyone before. The DEP thing took maybe 8-10 min. It was a bad environment and they have no business offering facials if this is representative of their facials. Then when I went to pay the $150 Dane quoted, they said it was $250. DEP was an add-on, but Dane never presented it that way. I have texts that very clearly show this. So beware of add-one you may not want!! I regret that I didn't catch on sooner and that I didn't ask more questions. I thought maybe DEP was a type of facial I'd never heard of, or that it was how they branded their European facial. I also regret not walking out within the first 2min. But I didn't trust my gut, and I had a $150 gift certificate. So watch out for add-ons and dishonest tactics. Btw, I reached out to them to discuss. Dane acted like she didn't get my point and then Told me I "actually got a $25/ discount". But even all that aside, the facilities are awful, ambiance sucks, and it was thru worst facial I've ever had.

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience with this business, particularly when it came to…read morecommunication, punctuality, and customer service. I originally booked my first appointment and, without my authorization, my appointment was rescheduled. I kindly asked if it could be moved, and she accommodated me. I normally would not have continued booking with someone after an experience like that because punctuality and customer service are very important to me. However, she was offering a deal, and since I was preparing for my wedding, I decided to purchase three additional visits. Unfortunately, the same issues continued. My appointments were repeatedly rescheduled, and there were also occasions when she was late. Since I work during the day, my appointments were in the afternoon, and I often felt rushed, as though she was trying to get out as quickly as possible rather than providing a relaxing experience. I was also given a gift card for her services, which I decided to use for my final facial before my wedding. The work itself was not necessarily bad, but I did not feel that it was her best work or that the overall experience was worth what I had paid. I also booked an appointment for my fiancé because I decided to use the gift card toward a facial for him. He had never had a facial before, so I expected the process to be explained to him and for him to be guided through what to expect. Unfortunately, that did not happen. He left feeling more stressed and anxious than when he arrived. He also did not receive all of the services that had been paid for. For example, when it came time for the neck massage, he was told, "You didn't take off your shirt, so I can't give you the neck massage." As a first-time client, I don't think it is reasonable to expect someone to know what they are supposed to remove or how to prepare without being told. The final experience was unfortunately the most disappointing. I had a facial scheduled for the week before my wedding, and at 2:00 PM on the day of my appointment, I received a text saying that something had come up and that she needed to cancel and reschedule my 4:30 PM appointment. At that point, I decided I had enough. I canceled the appointment and did not even ask for my deposit back. I want to be clear that I am not saying she provides terrible services or that every client will have the same experience. However, for me, the repeated scheduling changes, lateness, lack of communication, and overall customer service made this a very frustrating experience. Especially when I was preparing for my wedding, I needed someone I could rely on and feel comfortable with. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend the service based on my personal experience.
