Studio 60 was absolutely terrific. The studio is bright and airy and it is in a cute little house. My daughter got to pick one painting to do and it was very difficult for her to pick one because they have a variety of paintings to choose from. The party was scheduled from 12:30 to 2:30. I provided food and cake and the studio provided me with juice boxes, water, paper plates and napkins. The kids had a blast, they all got to take their master piece home and my daughter got to take a canvas with all of her guests hand prints on it. The birthday party was a success, it was very different from the other parties we have had, it was laid back and relaxing. They played kids bop music in the background while the artists painted, at one point the girls made it into a dance party. I am extremely happy with the service that was provided to me and my daughter. They provide classes throughout the month, they have a calendar online and they offer adult classes too. The mall this establishment is in celebrates Pride Month as does all of the other stores. So naturally I put up decorations along with the rest of the mall. This angered Kelly and she started tearing down my rainbows. She said she wanted to remain "neutral". That was the first red flag as I, her manager, is queer and she knew this. The 2nd red flag was when her husband picked me up from this location (as I am disabled and can't drive) to take me to their Plano location. When I hopped into the car a song was playing, her husband quickly turned off the song and went looking through his phone for another. He then puts on The Lords of Acid - Pussy Song. We were alone in the car The owner Kelly and her husband are anti LGBTQ and anti immigrant. I ran their studio for three years before their beliefs reared their ugly heads. I, myself am a queer Latino. The mall celebrates Pride Month, Kelly didn't like this so she tore down all of the decorations I put up. She loved the indigenous pottery workshops I would do, they made HER LOTS OF MONEY. I ultimately QUIT because he husband was watching me on the cameras and had an issue with my sick child being at the studio when I had no other option. This man wasn't my boss. He had to pick me up one day for a convention, when I got in the car a song was playing . HE TURNED OFF THE SONG LOOKED GOR A NEW ONE AND PUT ON :LORDS OF ACID- THE PUSSY SONG. I'm queer, married and someone MOTHER. DO NOT WORK HERE IT IS NOT SAFE. We were in the car for at least 20 minutes... The final nail in the coffin was when her husband called me at work because he was watching me that morning bending down sorting the orders. My son, who was 11 at the time had his head down on the table. We had been up all night as my child developed hives and we had just gotten in from the doctor. ​I could not have prepared for this so I took him and his medicines to work with me. Well her husband didn't like that because it "looks bad". Mind you, this is the same kid that would volunteer on the weekends to help me clean the studio after parties for extra allowance. Kelly encouraged this. This man and father told me to find other accommodations. So I did, I easily found another job. If you go here you support an owner who not only makes excuses for her perverted husband but someone who hates kindness and equality. The people who stand by this women all look exactly like HER. Sound familiar?

On the other hand, this place is also a little more high end compared to your old fashion bowling/dive bar places. The location was very easy to find. We used Google Navigation and it lead us directly to the place. If you miss the entrance, it might be a little annoying to backtrack but no big issues. Parking was no issues and it is very big compared to the size of the building. We showed up on a busy Wednesday where it is penny pins so you only pay a penny per pin you knock down. Essentially...the worst you are, the cheaper your game will be. Inside the building is very nice and clean. There are two entrances..one is a "restaurant" and the other is the decent sized arcade and bowling. There is a self serving beer tap. And they do serve food. They do a little star less due to the prices of the food as well. It is better than your traditional bar/bowling food but it is a little more expensive. Also, I do enjoy the service of the self serving beer tap. They had a lot of selections of beer, 1-2 seltzers, 1 cider and ~5 wine selection. Also, they do have a "limit" of ~32 oz where the bartender can allow you or less depending on how you act. I do appreciate that so while you can drink feely, no one is getting drunk. I think we were paying ~.60 cents an oz and it does tell you how much your drink will cost as you are pouring. Also, they do have a small water station will is greatly appreciated. The arcade is decently sized. They do have a lot of selections of games but it is not a place where I would go just for the arcade. The size is good for after bowling or while you are waiting for your lane. Overall, I am very impressed with this location. Food, self serving beer tap, and arcades... I am fan of Twisted Pins and I would be back in the future.

They changed names they've got all new lanes, got a pro shop, they got all sorts of crane games and video games etc. I did not bowl, but my kids all bowled with their cousins. What I didn't like, was we got there at 245 and the kids wanted to bowl for an hour, 3 games and there was really nobody on the main lanes except two of the lanes which were already in use and they didn't want to rent lanes to my kids because they said the Plainfield teachers group is coming in. And I'm sure they wouldn't be there till 4 o'clock but this is it like at 2:30 2:45 and so they made my kids rent a lane which cost more dollars an hour and the shoes were more and they had to rent a lane in the VIP section which had colored lights and video on the wall and because they're worried about taking care of this teachers group and school wasn't even close to being over yet but they just wanted to make money on whoever was there. So we got stiffed by having to pay a lot higher prices and I didn't like that. So of course my wife liked the fact that they had a pour your own beer area. With like 20 different beers, some wines, some seltzers etc. etc. And you give them your card upfront they give you a separate card which you wave over the selection that you want , and then it weighs by the ounce how much it pours for you and then charges you a fee. It was in the afternoon and I didn't feel like drinking although the wife drank with my nephew. That was a good thing but I'm really only gonna give them two & 1/2 stars because they were obviously didn't want to rent to us so they gave us the expensive lanes. I just didn't like the service so at our expense they made extra money which was wrong. I personally wouldn't go back.

We had to silence our phones and make sure to buy 2 drinks each. We were a little late for the opener was performing. They sat us at the middle front table. I liked the way you light up the menu to get a waitress to come. We each had a tropical cocktail then a seltzer. Comedy was great. We were at the later show. At the end, we were talking to one of the comedians and the workers kept pushing us out which was a little rude. That's the reason for minus 1 star. Other than that we had a great experience.

This lack of professionalism not only disrupted the show completely and then throwing the rest of us out even though they had our cards for the bill during this whole process. To make matters worse, the manager physically assaulted my brother during the commotion which stopped the show in front of the rest of the guests. This was supposed to be a fun family night out, but it turned into a nightmare because of the manager's (Glen Martino's) hot-headed and rude behavior. It's shocking that someone like this is allowed to run a business. I highly recommend avoiding CG's Comedy Club. Save your money and spend it somewhere that values and respects its guests. Glen Martino should be ashamed of his behavior, and honestly, he should be fired if he could be. It was just a loose idea, and I need someone to help with executing it and didn't know where to start. When I looked up a few artists in the area, I found Dottie's website and loved the work I saw. I reached out to her, and felt so confident she was the right person just by taking to her. She is so pleasant and communicates well. She offered to help me with learning to paint/painting this gift myself, but because I wouldn't be in town, she happily painted what I needed on my canvas and had it ready before the deadline. The painting turned out INCREDIBLE! I am blown away by her talent, and her ability to put what I imagined onto a canvas. My favorites are the rides. They have a spinning, fast roller coaster. As well as an exciting giant drop that goes up and down instead of just one drop. My other favorite is the mini golf courses! Like the rides, they have two courses which are both so fun and completely different. One course is in the center of everything (similar to an outdoor course). The other course is in a separate area and is glow in the dark, which is always a fun change in my opinion. They have a full bar. Food is also served though unsure if it's plates, apps, tapas, or what exactly is served. Employees genuinely appear happy and are so polite, friendly, and considerate. We have already been three times in around 6-7 weeks so safe to say it's my new favorite spot. You know I'll be back and highly recommend to all ages and relationships looking for something fun and unique to do!
