They did an entire job (e.g. ceiling skimming, sanding and painting, drywall repairs throughout our home, painting walls, baseboards, doors, hallway cabinets, inside of closets, etc.) for a fair price (worth every penny) and now our freshly painted interior looks so bright and beautiful. I feel lucky to have been able to hire O'valley painting. My husband and I just bought our first home which was built in the 60's and we needed someone to skim coat our ceiling (had popcorn ceiling removed by another company) and paint pretty much our whole interior before we moved in. We worked with quite a few contractors for new roof, plumbing, electrical, popcorn ceiling removal and kitchen remodel before I met with Marco and his professionalism and knowledge definitely stood out. Marco has 30 years of painting experience ( he was a painter apprentice becoming a foreman before starting his own company) and it showed - when I first walked through the house with him. He looked closely at all the walls and touched the textures of the walls and talked about what the issues were and how he was gonna fix it then he stopped at one of the bedroom walls and could tell there was wallpaper underneath the layers of paint that no one knew about! (Turned out there were 3 different patterns of 60's wallpaper in that room.) The other painting company had just looked at the walls and did not care to touch the walls. Because of what Marco discovered, my husband and I removed layers of old paint, 3 types of wallpaper and wallpaper glue ( Marco's company can also remove wallpaper but my husband wanted to tackle the task) and with Marco and Josh's paint job that bedroom is now glowing. Marco is like a Dad that looks out for you. He saw our ceiling after popcorn ceiling removal and told us the job was not finished (we had no clue) so we had the company return and fix it. Then he saw a closet that was just constructed that was done subpar so he said the builder needed to come back to fix it before Marco touched it. LOL. So we did and Im grateful to him for that. He is no nonsense and expects greatness from others because he aims to deliver great work himself. Marco and Josh worked tirelessly over 12 days including Saturdays to make the interior of our house look brand new literally from floor to ceiling. They were always on time, treated our house as if it was theirs, worked hard throughout their entire working hours, listened and collaborated with us on what we needed to get done, and cleaned up everything everyday before they left. Refused to provide my insurance company what they needed for the remediation (essentially a detailed estimate). This prolonged the work until finally we had to hire a different company to do the remediation. Then Eric wanted to bid the rehab work. He told me he had an estimate for $90k to do that work (which seemed high to me), but refused to release the estimate unless I signed a doc u sign committing to him that if the insurance company didn't use him, I would owe him $9,000. When I refused to agree to that my phone and texts blew up like a bad break up. If you like drama, this company might be for you.
