My family and I were looking for movers to help disassemble a bed and move some items from my elderly fathers room into the garage. We were planning to make the room more functional and safe for my father so we needed to move/clear things from the bedroom to the garage and vice versa. I started with quotes on Yelp and Alex provided such a reasonable quote that I had to hire him! Alex was incredibly friendly, polite, and responsive during every correspondence. Alex and Robert arrived to the house ready to go. They were both strong, quick, and efficient. They had great communication skills and were so incredibly accommodating. They did such a fantastic job working with my chaotic Filipino family and receiving unsolicited feedback from random uncles/aunts and being spoken to in a foreign language by my grandma haha They were so incredibly patient and went above and beyond! They finished early and even helped us with tasks that were outside of their scope. Complete Failure. Paid for experience, received inadequate labor…read more I hired All Service Movers expecting a professional crew capable of handling a move involving stairs. At $210 per hour for a three-person crew, they were the most expensive company I considered. I chose them mainly because I expected the quality to match the price. I got burned on this one. When scheduling the move, I explained it involved one flight of stairs at the pickup location and two flights of stairs at the destination. The heaviest items were standard household furniture including dressers, a sofa bed, tables, and similar items. There were no safes, pianos, appliances, or other unusually heavy items. When discussing how many movers would be needed, I was told two would probably be enough. I chose to pay for a three-person crew mainly because of the stairs, expecting they would handle it better. From the beginning, it was obvious the crew struggled navigating the stairs, repeatedly stopping to reposition furniture and moving at a pace that unnecessarily extended the job. I even found myself carrying heavy boxes over my shoulders up the stairs, and also taking items to the garage myself while paying for a three-person moving crew. I did this not only because I couldn't bear to watch the crew struggle, but also because the clock was ticking and every unnecessary delay was costing me more money. The move lasted 8 3/4 hours, went into overtime, and I was charged for the additional time. Even after that, the move was not completed. Furniture still needed to be placed and assembled. I chose to end the job once I witnessed the dolly scraping on my newly installed flooring. That's when I flipped. Told them it's time to go. It didn't dawn on me that they'd been using an unprotected dolly throughout the move. Once they left, I started unpacking and inspecting my stuff further. I discovered additional damage to my freshly painted walls, new and existing furniture, stair trim, and a scratch on my newly installed sliding door. To put this into perspective, Home Depot later delivered multiple large appliances up the exact same stairs using only two delivery personnel. They handled the stairs confidently without repeated stops or hesitation. I have also used another moving company in the past, and the difference in capability was obvious. The effort the movers put in is not in question. They worked hard. The issue was the lack of experience, strength, proper equipment, and overall capability needed to handle this type of move. In my opinion, All Service Movers failed to assign a crew capable of handling this type of stair move. Their lack of efficiency cost me additional overtime charges, resulted in unnecessary damage to my home and belongings, and left the move unfinished. To make matters worse, after documenting the damage with photographs and submitting a claim, the company offered only $100 toward an estimated $400 in damages. And the $400 estimate was generous. I cannot recommend All Service Movers based on my experience. A professional moving company should assign a crew capable of performing the job they were hired to do without causing unnecessary damage, unnecessary overtime charges, and an incomplete move. Still unpacking. Hope there's no additional damage.

The movers did not speak English fluently which added to the confusion over payment and breakdown of costs. Overall the job was performed as expected but the final costs were way more than expected.

So -Cal Spa Movers came to pick up a Spa we sold out of our backyard. They arrived on time, were very professional. Our spa the electrical power specifically installed at the time of the installation so the connection was under it. They were able to disconnect the Spa without us having to call someone else out. They moved the spa out from the back through a 40 in gate with no issues, My husband was even watching them on our security cameras and texted me.. Man they made that look easy! The team was a pleasure to work with, I felt very confident in their ability to get the job done quickly. I watches as they secured it before going in the house.. Later I walked out and found they had even put the gate back up in place after they left, which I had not expected. Booked an appointment via yelp about a week out. Mike and his brother came through on a Saturday morning. I was a little anxious to see how they'd manage this since there wasn't too much room to maneuver. But they made it look easy. These two men are strong as heck man! They were able to flip the tub on its side. And with some pullies and heavy duty tarp underneath, they were able to push and pull the tub out and place it safely. The whole job took about 20 minutes or so. Mike's price was very competitive compared to the other quotes I received. I fully recommend this family-run business for your hot tub moving needs!

The hot tub was bunkered down deep in a sort of garden pit with barely enough room to walk around it sideways, but this didn't deter these heroes. They straight up levitated that 900LB SOB and brought her back to the land of the living!!!!!!! Then they discovered that the neighbors had built their wall a little higher since the jacuzzi was put in place so the eve of the house was about 4 inches too low to get it out. Gracefully the homeowner was so incredibly kind and wanted my family to have this monstrosity of a hot tub that she agreed to have them CUT HER EVES!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!! They didn't even have the right tools but managed to make it out!!! Homeowner was pleased with their craftsmanship. They kept me updated with arrival times and were extremely courteous. When they arrived (right on time) they planned their attack with pin point precision. Making minor adjustments along the way. Making sure to not harm any of the existing grass, landscape, patios or any obstacles in their path. Then, ever so gently, they placed my new, precious, beautifully transported hot tub into place. And that's not all. They proceeded to give me all of the previous owners accoutrements as well as a full tutorial on how to make certain it would last for years of hot tubbing bliss. They left promptly but not without a sweet farewell and a small request to write a yelp review. They deserve so much more. These heroes of the hot tub. May they move many many more.
