This was MY Sundae Sunday. Snowl was great! The atmosphere is very detailed with clouds above my head. Some of the chairs were comfy and smooth. Plants blooming in the atmosphere, adding more freshness and... well, makes people calm. Polar bears and penguins popping out of screens and pictures were kind of cute. When it was my turn to order, I tried a snow bowl and some Taiyaki. The fruit snow bowl was one of the most expensive bowl. The fruit bowl contained obviously a lot of fruits like bananas, strawberries, kiwi and other fruits. I got the first scoop. It was fruity, as always. Did you know that in Korean, they call the snow bowls: Patbingsoo This exotic desert is traditional to Korea! The Taiyaki was a fish-shaped waffle with stuffing in it that you can choose either chocolate(mmm...), or red bean paste. I ordered one chocolate and four red beans for my family. But before my dad touches the chocolate one, I hogged the chocolate one as chocolate spread all over my face. It tastes like a bunch of sugar and tastes like heaven. My dad was stunned and said he had to go to the restroom. Something tells me he was furious to someone... That was my day of awesomeness! It was really good shaved ice. I got the mango snow. It came with chunks of mango and these bursting boba. Top with what I believe is condense milk. The flavor was through the whole dish. A lot of times when I get shaved ice the bottom is just ice with no flavor, but not at snowl. I would of gave them a 5 star, but the staff wasn't to friendly to us. I didn't have a great experience at snowl. The cashier definitely has some attitude and plain rude. I don't think she even listened to what customer said. I asked for Taro tea with tapioca. I was under the impression that tapioca means the tapioca balls aka the boba. The other lady who made the drink is nice and I feel bad so I took the drink anyways. I'm not sure if I will come back. This is my new favorite snack/dessert/tea spot. The decor is bright and very cute. It is a great place to sit and chat with friends over some yummy snacks. I love their fruit teas and the taiyaki is out of this world. I enjoy the red bean but I was able to get my very picky mother to try the chocolate filled and she loved them! I have also had the taro ice cream and cannot wait to eat more as the months warm up. Their customer service has always been excellent! Hands down already one of my favorite dessert places in Denver!!! 1. Taiyaki- holy yum!! I got the matcha ice cream topped with chocolate sprinkles and a Nutella Taiyaki, my friend got the milk tea ice cream with Oreo and Nutella taiyaki. Both we absolutely delicious, the ice cream has more of a soft serve texture which I absolutely LOVE and the Taiyaki was soft and delicious!! 2. Snow bowl- we tried the fruit bowl, it was sooo good!! Absolutely fresh cut strawberries, blueberries, bananas and grapes. I loved that they didn't use frozen fruits (I hate when restaurants claim fresh fruit and use frozen fruit)! The snow was delicious! Incredibly light in sweetness and fluffy, it melted in my mouth and it was great for my diabetic aunt and dad! 3. The boba!! Omg the flavors are sooo good and the boba is perfectly squishy! I've a tried a few places where the boba is harder or not as slimy and I don't like em, this place had the texture of the boba absolutely perfect!!! 4. I've come to this boba place multiple times, and the employees were always nice. Until yesterday, me and my boyfriend walked in at 10:28 pm thinking that they closed at 11 pm. Right when we walked in the girl who was at the cash register told one of the other employees to take our order and made a face. He was very nice and took down our order and once we were ready to pay the same girl told him that they didn't have boba and said it was because they were about to close. Throughout us ordering she continued to make faces, and came off mad. We decided to leave, and said we would come back another day. Once we left we looked at the open and close sign outside, and they were to close at 10:30 but the door wasn't locked. A simple "we are closed" or "we don't have boba" from the beginning would have been fine. read more

After trying the bingsu/shaved milk ice cream in Queens NY and loving it, I was thrilled to finally find it in the Denver metro! This store is very cutely decorated, the menu was vast and full of all sorts of treats I look forward to trying in the future. My only complaint was that the bingsu only came in one size, large. I would prefer a personal size bingsu that I could add my own toppings to. If not everyone in your group wants bingsu, you are left with a giant serving. The taiyaki (cake shaped like a fish) was very popular, most people around us had one filled with various soft serve flavors. The environment was casual, with students working on geometry, large families, groups of adults, and couples. There was lots of seating, and I found the environment to be inviting to spend time in.
