It says "walk-ins welcome" but was told I could get a pedi in a few... turned out to be over 20 min... I don't mind waiting, but give me an idea of how long it could be. Also, staff would not speak English, which comes across rude, especially if you know they are talking about a customer. There were no smiles, no gentleness, no relaxing... I received a mani/pedi two days ago. i waited 25 minutes to begin. i was put in for a pedicure first. I was not asked how I liked the heat level. It was not hot enough but the man seemed off put already so I did not say anything. He did not offer any options in upgrading to a better pedicure. He barely shaped my toenails and the whole pedicure lasted 20 min. Also, I had a cut on my shin which I pointed out to him. He kept rubbing that spot when he put on the lotion. I have never had such a terrible experience at a nail salon in my life. My nails look like I put on a set of Lee press on nails from the drug store, and at least if I had done that my nails would be smooth and bubble-free. After I expressed my displeasure, the owner? told me never to come back, they refused to fix my nails, and told me they would call the police because I refused to pay (never did I refuse to pay, but I did want them fixed if I was going to pay). Not sure what the bad reviews are all about, but I've been here a couple times and was completely happy each time! The salon is clean, the people are friendly, and my nails look fantastic. The first time I came in was the day before a holiday and I walked in 10 minutes after they closed. (They hadn't had time to turn off the open sign yet.) When I turned around to leave, the owner waved me in and told me it was no problem, she'd take care of me. I waited less than 10 minutes and walked out with perfect nails shortly after. I had a horrible experience at another nail salon. They tore off my nails and i wasnt very happy. I came in this place this morning to get them fixed and everything was amazing. The lady working on my nails did a fantastic job. The only thing i would say she could have done were my cuticles but mine arent bad at all so im not even mad. I only had to tell her once what i wanted and i cant say the same for the other place i was at. In the two years I've been going here for nail services and eyebrow waxing, my experience has always been positive. They provide excellent manicures, pedicures and eyebrow waxing. They just got all new pedicure chairs and the massage feature is amazing. Very clean!! Tools are always sterilized between clients. My daughter and I go about every three weeks. They take pride in their work and in the two years we've been going there, I've only had one shellacked nail chip before we returned and I'm very hard on my nails. The woman who did my mani/pedi was uninterested and gave me a 30 second massage on my hands and feet - It felt more like a rushed expirience than a relaxing one- even though I was the only one there. Worst experience ever. Everything was rushed and I spent over $40 on shellac gel mani. The shellac had to be redone 4 times because it was not drying and it was being rushed (the machine also was not working) finally he just said I was done and the shellac polish was still not dry causing the polish to discolor and have wrinkles in it. He told me to come back during the week it would be better (it should be good anytime I go). About a week later the polish was chipping off. I was 1 of the 1st customers when it opened years ago it has changed hands and gone way down hill. The state is investigating them hope they close them. My mom went to get her pink and white fills done and the lady told her not to come in on sundays to get her nails done because she can do two normal fills and make the same amount of money in the time that she could do hers. Horrible! I stopped in to get a quick manicure while I was in town visiting family. They asked me 3 different times if I was going to get shellac and I said no. That apparently isn't the right answer and the lady rushed through the manicure, only put one coat of polish, and rushed me over to the dryer. She was much more interested in the person that just walked in wanting shellac mani/pedi and ran over to give her service without even moving my purse/coat over to the dryer. She went in Sunday to get a pink and white fill done, and as they were doing it they told her not to come in on Sunday's to do this because it takes to long! And she said she could do two regularly fills in the same time and make double the money. This is the worst nail salon in the area. It's pretty bad when you are soaking your nails to get the shellac off, and they hand you the paying customer the nail tool to scrape it off. My mouth fell on the floor. They also have new owners every six months, which is really odd. The one gentleman who has done my nails twice, is looking off in the distance, instead of paying attention to buffing etc. I've given them plenty of chances , no more for me. read more

James did my nails. They are still perfect after 2 1/2 weeks. He hand painted a flower on my big toes and everyone loves it. I get the gel French on my hands, and he took the time to do it right. This salon does not even deserve one star. I was there on 7/5/2017. They hurried me through a mani, pedi, and waxing. It was not relaxing in the least. I saw no sanitizing of instruments or materials they used before or after my procedures. The man who did my pedicure, used a nubby sponge to remove dead skin from my feet. He rinsed it in the water in which my feet were soaking, and then he threw it back on the small table beside me. I'm assuming the next person in that chair, would have the same sponge used on his/her feet without being properly sanitized. I have had many other pedicures and manicures at other places. For my pedicure, the tech did not use a cotton ball on my nails with alcohol to make sure the polish would adhere after the soaking. The soaking water smelled as if it had bleach in it with some sort of blue bubbly coloring. I hope my feet were not soaking in bleach as their way of sanitizing the foot soaking sink. The pedi tech did not put a coat of clear adhering polish on my toe nails so the polish would adhere. He put on one coat of my chosen color polish and then a clear top coat instead of two coats of polish before the top coat. He wrapped my legs in one warm towel for 20 seconds, tops. As for my manicure, it was done in about 5 minutes. I did not have any polish put on. My hand soaked in warm water. There was not a soaking agent in the bowl to help soften the cuticles. I also had waxing on areas of my face. The woman who did the waxing told me to be quiet. She knew what to do. She did want not my input on how I wanted my eyebrows to be shaped. I kept insisting on what I wanted. She was very rude. I accidentally left my wallet there. I called them to see if it was there since the salon was the last place I went before my wallet went MIA. They said it wasn't there. I called them back again. They told me to come in to look at video footage to see if my wallet was present on the video footage. On the phone, I described my wallet to a tee. I went to the salon prepared to look at video footage. When I arrived, they opened the front drawer of their desk. My wallet was there. They told me I couldn't have it. I needed to provide identification that it was mine. I told them all my identification was in the wallet that was in the drawer. Duh! It was such a simple matter that became so complex. There was a lot of anger on my part and the manager who rudely told me to leave. What were they thinking? I spent some anxious hours wondering where my wallet could be while they were playing "their game." They told me, "Well, we didn't steal any money from it." That was not the point. The Bureau of Licensing in Michigan should pay a surprise visit to this place. I'm contacting the BBB. This salon cut a lot of corners with time, proper sanitizing, and "product" for me and, I'm assuming, they are doing the same for all their other customers. Shame on them. The place looks nice and is well kept. But they are hiding a very shaming, dirty secret at the expense of their customers. read more
