I love that this place is dog friendly and you can sit inside with your pets! We brought our pups with us: a lab mix and a chihuahua. We sat in the corner at a regular table. It gets chilly at night so it was great to find an indoor bar that allows dogs inside. I ordered the flight if beers, which is essentially a sample of 8 beers on tap. Now I can't remember all of them, but I did like 3- cider and 4- cream ale. I ordered the trout with clam chowder. Soup was really good and had lots of clams in it. Very flavorful and it didn't need the crackers. My Trout was pretty big! Wish there were more veggies in the plate. The fries were good, but should've got the baked potato instead. I got suckered by the hand cut Idaho potatoes. My boyfriend ordered the elk burger medium rare and they made it perfectly! I personally thought it was a bit too raw in the middle, but he loved it! He also enjoyed the onion rings.

I'm back again and I ordered the same food. I'm trying a different beer. This food is stellar.i will be back again the service is awesome. The beer still needs a bit of work to be top notch but it's good enough to get the job done.. Friendly, and welcoming, atmosphere, it's a casual restaurant with TV's for all your sports watching needs.

Stopped in for dinner as we were staying at a hotel nearby. The waiter that greeted us was so friendly and upbeat! However, we were quite caught off guard when he stated he had to seat us at a "special" table because we had our service dog with us. So we never even got a chance to sit at the bar like we wanted. Despite my initial thought thinking segregation due to a service animal is highly illegal, our waiter remained friendly and attentive. The beer was good and the steaks had a nice flavor but were definitely cooked a little more rare than medium-rare like requested. It's a cute place with a lot of character but not sure we would return. Just a recommendation I would also remove "dog friendly" from your Yelp page as that implies you will be open and welcoming to dogs especially working dogs, and not seated in a "special" area or separate from where you wanted to be.

We chose this place because it was walking distance to our hotel, and the menu looked promising. We were not disappointed! Do yourself a favor and start with the lettuce wraps. They aren't pictured because we ate them so fast- but they were 100 times better than anyone's you've ever had in any chain restaurant. We stuck to some simple basics as mains, but the food was great! For a simple "brewery" this place was awesome and we would definitely come back the next time we're in Idaho Falls.

We were hungry and thirsty after a trip to Craters of the Moon National Park. After a quick walk from our hotel to Idaho Falls, we saw Snow Eagle Brewing across the street, so we decided to stop in. The brewery is across the street from Idaho Falls Park. There are tables outside the restaurant where you can sit and eat and enjoy the view. My favorite beer was the Beaver Dick Brown Pelt, which is a brown ale that has notes of chocolate and caramel, I ordered the pulled pork burrito for dinner with Idaho Potato Fries. The burrito was delicious and like nothing I have ever had. The burrito shell was fried, and the burrito was stuffed with sweet pulled pork, house-made black bean salsa, and cheddar jack cheese. The service was great, and it was easy to find a parking place because they have a large private parking lot. Also, after dinner, you can take a walk along the snake river.

Walking in the gentlemen who greeted us was very proficient at his job. He said this "We have been waiting for you, glad you came". Come to find out he is the owner with his wife. We did find the combination of a brewery and sushi odd. My role of being in a landlocked state I do not eat seafood so we elected not to have sushi. We did start out with an appetizer of stuffed jalapeño grenades. We got two in the order and they are good sized. Only thing is the jalapeño is raw before stuffing, breading and frying. Because the jalapeño was so big it was hard to eat. It was almost like crunching on a carrot. The jalapeños should be roasted or baked a bit to make them soft before stuffing them frying. This would have made them a top 5 favorite popper. My coworker got the Idaho Rainbow trout. She said it was good and nicely cooked. She loved the buttery corn she got with it. She also got the Beaver Dick Ale, said it was ok. Not the best thing she has ever had but drinkable. My other coworker got prime rib sandwich with onion rings. He said it was very good. Nice flavor and loved the onion rings. He ordered the Snow Eagle beer. Said it was good but had a medicine after taste. I have to take their word on the beers since I don't drink. I ordered the wings from the appetizer menu, came with 8 wings. Went with the hot sauce flavor. They came out great. Great flavor and not over sauced.

First time here and just had to try it. I don't regret coming here because the food was delicious and our server was awesome and very friendly as well. He checked up on us and that's great. Most place we've been done do that as we have tried a few places. It's quiet and nice view of the lake.

After a long day of driving, we came upon this place. We were immediately greeted and seated. Our server was friendly and helpful with the beer choices. I got the Thai salmon salad and my husband got some wings. Both were tasty. The salmon and the chicken wings were cooked well. The vinaigrette on the salad was delicious. We both got one of their beers in tap... I think it was called Beaver Dick Brown.

This brewery is very nice. The Japanese beer was very tasty. The menu has a good selection of everything from "bar food " to fine dining and sushi. Their clam chowder is amazing. The staff were super attentive and friendly. They had leftover Valentine's Day chocolate covered strawberries and treated us to some. If you come in the daytime , you can look at the river and waterfall across the street. We will definitely come back.

Skip to the end for how I determine a rating. First and foremost the beer...it was so-so. Wasn't bad, but I had an IPA and a Hazy that both missed the mark for what I would expect for those styles. Not terrible, but there are better beers close by. Big marks though for the service, atmosphere and food. My waiter was excellent. He was attentive and knowledgeable of both the food and beer selections. The place felt like a craft brewery should feel. Casual and comfortable, although some outdoor seating would be a really nice touch, especially with the park and Snake River falls across the road. Finally the food...had a really great burger, which more than made up for the beer. They seem to have some sort of Japanese connection...it was Kobe beef in the entrees as well as a sushi menu. Odd combination, but they make it work well. So if you're more after great food than great beer, Snow Eagle is a solid choice. 5 - I'd plan a weekend trip just to come here 4 - I'd drive an hour just to come here 3 - Good choice if you're in the area 2 - You'll survive, but there are better choices close by 1 - Just don't

When we first arrived to the outside--well, the name Rusty Lantern…read moreseemed appropriate--half expected to hear a gate creaking and slamming in the wind, and see a hitching rail for your horse. That made us a little nervous, but also so excited . Once inside that nervousness is quickly replaced by friendly people. You can immediately feel that it's a real local favorite. Everybody's eyes are on you when you enter, but that is definitely not to make you uncomfortable. They are smiling and welcoming. You're offered boisterous warm greetings, with that welcome home feel. With stools at the counter, some very big tables and chairs sitting off to the left for big parties to sit at, and booths for the typical size party, the seating was perfectly spaced and comfortable. It truly allowed for tables of regulars to intermingle. It was definitely rustic, folksy and the people were all friendly regulars like they were co-owners. The artwork on the wall was just so--cow hand and ranch family murals. I truly expected John Wayne any moment to come drawling in and tell me, "I think you need to sit down, partner." We chose a booth, sat down, and were greeted quickly by the most humble and sweet young lady who was our--No, THE server approaching us very quickly to take our drink order, and explain the small menu to us. Yes the menu was very basic. A rainbow of colorful chalk writing garnished in an invented style, a board displayed behind the counter, which consists of an evolving menu of fresh made dessert type foods that weren't on the menu --the menu lived. The small basic menu was one page--That was it. Having mostly the basics to choose from, I chose a nice sausage patty, and three scrambled eggs with cheese and onions. We were half expecting half effort food--boy were we wrong. I also couldn't help myself I had to order one of these fresh made goods displayed on that board. Knowing that it was a side to my already ordered dish, I asked my server. "How big is a slice of banana cream pie, is it a good side." Lol..." Yeah it's not that big" well I should have known by the Texas feel of the local little diner. When the cream pie came out I could have eaten it for both breakfast and lunch and been plenty full lol. It occupied my every thought, with fresh bananas and cream, a smothering of whipped cream over the top, and a perfect semi-sweet crumbly crust, I devoured it quickly! The fresh cracked eggs, not overly greasy from frying up on an overworked grill, and the flavorful sausage combined with what seemed to be hand grated potato hash browns, mixed with onions cheese and spices. This was a classic downhome cooked meal. It was easy to tell why the place was filling up with customers quickly. It didn't get too crowded, but the patrons definitely tripled by the time we were finished with our meal. The server was friendly and handled all of the orders expertly, and lol, her little boy brought the dishes out to the table for you. It started to feel more like eating at a B&B. And the food is amazing--you have to go here. That board that I was telling you about, more fresh made foods were being written on the board while we were eating --the menu lived. This was an amazing experience, with rustic artwork all over the walls, friendly people willing to scoot over so that we can take pictures. We will definitely be back here. When you're in Idaho Falls, or even if you live here, take a 3 minute trip up 20 to visit this wonderful diner. I promise you won't regret it. I was having a little bit of a hard time time coming up with this review because I definitely wanted to make this a John Wayne movie lol. April 2026 Idaho Falls, Idaho…read more I was surprised to see this place is attached to a hotel when I drove up. Typically I do not eat at restaurants that are attached to a hotel. However, Yelp told me it was a 4.3 star place to eat. I asked if they had any nonalcoholic beers. The waiter brings me a can of beer to show me what it is. When I tell him that I will have it. He says well I'll just take it back and put it in a glass. So they bring me a 16 ounce glass with the beer poured in and it only filled 12 ounces. I ordered the Nacho Mama's Dip. It is a chicken nacho dip. The waiter told me it was a large portion so I am eating that just as my meal. My husband ordered the fish and chips. When you walk in the front door, the bar is right there. Pretty large bar for one to sit and enjoy a drink or a meal. To the right our booths and high tables that line the wall as well as some booths in the middle of the restaurant that make you feel like you are sitting under a gazebo. There are tables and booths on the far wall as well. The tables are cut to appear like a live edge wood top table. The booths sit too low and the table sits high. Even my husband who is 6'2 felt an imbalance with the table to chair. My nachos come out and the cheese sauce is dripping off the side of the dish. It is an absolute mess. The nacho chips are off to the side. The toppings consist of black olives and onions with four pieces of diced tomatoes. Accompanied by a side plastic dish is salsa, sour cream, and guacamole. The guacamole is definitely not homemade. My biggest complaint is the cheese sauce is definitely from a can. The cheese that they did put on the nachos was a slice of cheese that was not even melted. See picture. Reminds me that I am eating in a restaurant attached to a hotel. There are no beans. The chicken is mixed in with the cheese sauce. And it is sparingly there. This dish is absolutely disgusting! The fish and chips were terrible. They're served in a basket with four pieces of fish and they sit upon fresh cut fries. The fish was not good. The batter has a odd taste. Perhaps the oil it is fried in? I think I would've been better off going to Culver's and having their fish platter. Although my beYr was in a can, it was very cold. It was truly the best part of my meal. I am so disappointed that yelp led me to this place. This is my warning to others. Stay away. We had two completely different meals and neither of them were good.

It's the perfect spot for hearty, traditional Midwestern comfort food. After all, how can you visit Potato Country without enjoying at least one perfectly baked potato? A little fun (and mostly useless) fact: Potatoes are typically harvested once a year in the fall and stored in underground bunkers. The ones you usually buy in stores are often nearly a year old. And if a potato starts to sprout? It simply becomes part of the next season's crop. The moment you walk in, it feels like stepping into a time machine. The interior is warm and cozy, with darker tones, rich red accents, wood-paneled walls, and glass partitions. There's even a mud room and a coat rack ready for those chilly Idaho winter nights. We were greeted and seated almost immediately. Our server introduced herself right away and took our drink orders with a smile. I went with the Ultimate Philly--tender, well-done strips of their famous prime rib, grilled onions and peppers, all smothered in a rich cheese sauce. It came with a side of au jus for dipping and your choice of side. I couldn't resist ordering the Jaker's Baker, a massive Idaho potato loaded with all the toppings. Sully's has the best burgers I've had in Idaho, in fact ever!…read moreBetter than Snake Bite by a wide margin and even better than Big Jud's. You gotta get here quick! Ambience: Clean, well decorated, feels like a pub but a clean one. Staff: lovely and lively wait staff, wonderful food for a fair price, good portion sizes generally. Kristina is cheerful and awesome and her Bento cakes are incredible! Well balanced burgers: I keep coming back for the taste and the size of their 1/2lb burger is just right for us hungry boys! The slap yo granny is my favorite!!! It is sweet, savory, a little sour, and spicy from the pickled peppers, the tiniest hint of bitterness from the greens. The sweetness of the blueberry compot balances the spice and fat from the burger rather exceptionally. And the house made pickles are the bomb. Very messy though especially with a beard lol. The best and most balanced burger I have ever had!!! It's so good I've been around 10 times and almost always get the Slap yo granny lol. I'd miss it to much to try anything else. The samurai burger and russian cucumber is great if you want something fresh but not sweet, the humongous fungus is another really good one. Fries: The epitome of a homemade Idaho fry, but not to greasy which I appreciate. The sidewinder fries are epic and my favorite, and the waffle sweet potatoes fries are great as well. Although the $2.50 up-charge I don't love, especially for the size of the fry. For the upcharge I wish you got a little or a lot more. The regular fry is adequately portioned. They have a really well seasoned made in-house fry sauce that is delightfully smoky and sweet, and balances out the fries very nicely. It is one of the best fry sauces I've ever had, and I have had a lot of them. Constructive criticism: For the up-charge on the unique and tasty fries add a few more or lower the charge a bit. It's the only thing that feels a bit scamish as I've walked away several times feeling like I could have had just a few more I would have been satisfied. I'm willing to admit that's a me problem possibly, that being said I'm not a fatty, I'm actually a small dude, so take that for what it's worth. The Men's bathroom needs a couple updates, a divider for the urnal for privacy for the shy guys, and for those of us who don't want to see some crusty private bits walking in the door. And a privacy bar to fill the gap in the stall, of which you can see into the stall right at the person on the lue, in a slightly larger manner than feels safe, especially for children's safety, it not exactly appetizing for how delicious of a restaurant this is. And Extra points awarded for some of the cool shows playing on the tv's, especially The Bob Ross Channel. The parking is adequate but it is downtown and spots do get full so you may have to look around.
