I love that this place is dog friendly and you can sit inside with your pets! We brought our pups with us: a lab mix and a chihuahua. We sat in the corner at a regular table. It gets chilly at night so it was great to find an indoor bar that allows dogs inside. I ordered the flight if beers, which is essentially a sample of 8 beers on tap. Now I can't remember all of them, but I did like 3- cider and 4- cream ale. I ordered the trout with clam chowder. Soup was really good and had lots of clams in it. Very flavorful and it didn't need the crackers. My Trout was pretty big! Wish there were more veggies in the plate. The fries were good, but should've got the baked potato instead. We found this place on yelp after a long day of driving on our way to Yellowstone. We were looking forward to a yummy dinner and it was horrible. Staring from the service to the quality of the food. My son asked the waiter what kind of soda they had and he responded with "Pepsi products" so he asked for an orange soda, " well not that Pepsi products". They were out of many food items on the menu. We were better off going to chili's across the street. I also have a horrible stomach ache this morning. Stopped in for dinner as we were staying at a hotel nearby. The waiter that greeted us was so friendly and upbeat! However, we were quite caught off guard when he stated he had to seat us at a "special" table because we had our service dog with us. So we never even got a chance to sit at the bar like we wanted. Despite my initial thought thinking segregation due to a service animal is highly illegal, our waiter remained friendly and attentive. The beer was good and the steaks had a nice flavor but were definitely cooked a little more rare than medium-rare like requested. The place is clean and stylish enough as a brew pub and a cozy location next to the Idaho Falls. The food was OK, nothing special, but it's just what you'd expect from a brew pub. On the downside, the service was slow, and I mean dreadfully slow. Don't think it was our waiter's fault, as he tended to us often, but the kitchen looked like it could only handle one dish at a time. There were only 4 or 5 tables seated when we walked in on a Saturday night. 2 of the tables were already served and it took the rest of us almost an hour to get food. We were hungry and thirsty after a trip to Craters of the Moon National Park. After a quick walk from our hotel to Idaho Falls, we saw Snow Eagle Brewing across the street, so we decided to stop in. The brewery is across the street from Idaho Falls Park. There are tables outside the restaurant where you can sit and eat and enjoy the view. My favorite beer was the Beaver Dick Brown Pelt, which is a brown ale that has notes of chocolate and caramel, I ordered the pulled pork burrito for dinner with Idaho Potato Fries. The burrito was delicious and like nothing I have ever had. The burrito shell was fried, and the burrito was stuffed with sweet pulled pork, house-made black bean salsa, and cheddar jack cheese. The service was great, and it was easy to find a parking place because they have a large private parking lot. Also, after dinner, you can take a walk along the snake river. read more

We did find the combination of a brewery and sushi odd. My role of being in a landlocked state I do not eat seafood so we elected not to have sushi. We did start out with an appetizer of stuffed jalapeño grenades. We got two in the order and they are good sized. Only thing is the jalapeño is raw before stuffing, breading and frying. Because the jalapeño was so big it was hard to eat. It was almost like crunching on a carrot. The jalapeños should be roasted or baked a bit to make them soft before stuffing them frying. This would have made them a top 5 favorite popper. My coworker got the Idaho Rainbow trout. She said it was good and nicely cooked. She loved the buttery corn she got with it. She also got the Beaver Dick Ale, said it was ok. Not the best thing she has ever had but drinkable. My other coworker got prime rib sandwich with onion rings. He said it was very good. Stopped in for a beer and a couple appetizers. I had eaten dinner here last year and the burger was delicious, so was expecting a nice light meal. This was not the case. Service was okay, not what I would call friendly but adequate. We ordered the gyoza and stuffed jalapeños. The gyoza was virtually inedible, we ate 2 and left the rest. This is our go to place when passing through Idaho Falls. Menu, food and beer selection is really good.

This brewery is very nice. The Japanese beer was very tasty. The menu has a good selection of everything from "bar food " to fine dining and sushi. Their clam chowder is amazing. The staff were super attentive and friendly. They had leftover Valentine's Day chocolate covered strawberries and treated us to some. If you come in the daytime , you can look at the river and waterfall across the street. We will definitely come back. read more

Skip to the end for how I determine a rating. First and foremost the beer...it was so-so. Wasn't bad, but I had an IPA and a Hazy that both missed the mark for what I would expect for those styles. Not terrible, but there are better beers close by. Big marks though for the service, atmosphere and food. My waiter was excellent. He was attentive and knowledgeable of both the food and beer selections. The place felt like a craft brewery should feel. Casual and comfortable, although some outdoor seating would be a really nice touch, especially with the park and Snake River falls across the road. Finally the food...had a really great burger, which more than made up for the beer. They seem to have some sort of Japanese connection...it was Kobe beef in the entrees as well as a sushi menu. Odd combination, but they make it work well. Stopped by for dinner on our way up to Yellowstone area. The beer wasn't anything amazing, the hazy was more like a light stale lager. I'd suggest a different one or maybe just skip the beer. The salad was pretty average but was a good healthy option. The jalapeño burger really saved it. We had ordered sweet potato fries but got regular ones and also asked for ketchup but never got it. When the sweat potato fries came, we were given about 12 fries total. Right when it was put down my partner and I just kind of looked at each other confused. It's an unplanned but surprisingly nice visit. As an Asian woman, traveling solo, taking photos by the Idaho falls green belt, I really didn't expect too much here. However, I was very well received by the Snow Eagle Brewing and Grill! I was drawn by the sushi and local beers. Oh my gosh, the beers are so good. I love to try everything local. This is amazing! My wife and I along with our 2 grand kids visited one afternoon last week as we were visiting from Montana. We were seated and the boys got root beers and we tried one of their beers on tap. We loved the beer and root beer so we decided to go back the next day but were told by a lady that worked there that we couldn't get a table unless we were going to eat, otherwise we would have to sit at the bar which has an age restriction. This is a 4.5 star place. The beers are very good. The cost for the taster tray is very reasonable. They were out a beer when I was visiting and the waiter said "let me know which of the others you'd like to have a second helping of". Ok, cool. I get it. Not going to ding you for that. We all get distracted sometimes but after we asked for our check, it still took 10 minutes. There was more than one waiter on the floor so I know he had time. Second - COVID. Social Distancing. 6' apart. Outside the restaurant was setup to observe that but inside. Nope, every table was full! The wait staff kept hitting my chair because the table immediately behind us was full. I know we all need to make a living but when you have a sign on the door highlighting social distancing, please do it! The doors were all closed. No windows opened. They kept the distance at the bar counter but nowhere else inside. That gets the ding.
