Mica...you are as good as it gets. I am so over-protective of my dog and thats why i never use a dog walker...i'd rather cancel time with my friends. But i really wanted to go to this wedding and finally said i have to find someone who i can trust. She was refered through a friend...and upon first meeting Mica she made me feel very comfortable about leaving my 95 lbs dog in her hands. He's 2 years old and sometimes lunges at other dogs, but she had no problem with that when i told her, which means that she knows how to handle dogs. She actually left me a note when i returned that night and said he was such a good boy, and that they had some time for face licking and cuddling before she left, and that he was very content. I love that i got a note from her when i got home. She also told me to leave her a note when I leave to tell her where the food bowl is and any other instructions i might find useful for her to know. i thought that was very awesome. Again, i 100% trust Mica, and her professionalism. She is bonded and insured as well, which is also very important and shows again her professionalism and that she knows what shes doing. We had Mica and her company (Snoopy's) sit with our cat while we were on vacation at least ten times. The service was excellent and we always called back for every vacation. I felt comfortable while away from my cat, as she or her fellow sitters from Snoopy's would sent us text and email updates after every visit. We also had the overnight service a few times, which is really a great option and peace of mind for longer trips. A year into having used Snoopy's services we got a second cat, a small kitten, hardly 4 weeks of age. This was an unexpected addition to the family, and unfortunately we had a trip planned since before the new kitten joined our household. She was about 2 months of age at the time of the trip. I asked Mica whether she suggests overnight visits every night for the kitten, or boarding her at the local vet. She recommended having her boarded, because kittens at such a young age can get in all sorts of trouble without supervision. This speaks immensely for her professionalism, since her suggestion cost her business a few hundred dollars over ~5 overnight stays. read more

Mica's love for cats shows as soon as you meet her - she is a natural with them. Trusting our two beautiful kitties that I adore and over protect with a perfect stranger takes guts. But when I met Mica at her 'Meet and Greet' I knew then that I could trust my babies (and our home) with her. Our cats are older and have some health issues. Mica's knowledge about cat's personalities and health was clear from the start. I immediately recognized that they would be in good hands with her. Also, when you're gone, getting a text message with a photo from Mica goes a long way to relieve the fears about your babies back home. She is thorough and offered to tend to mail, garbage, curtains - that sort of thing. She is smart, capable, trust-worthy, loving and reliable. I am hooked now. I just hired Mica for the first time to look after my bird, a dog, and 2 cats, and was relieved when the process went so smoothly from start to finish. She took the time to scope out all the details about their idiosyncracies (of which there are many), and provided updates while I was away without my having to ask. Most importantly, she seems to really like caring for animals, and does a good job. I can always tell when the menagerie gets good loving attention or not by their state upon my return, and this time they all seemed content. Mica is amazing with cats! My Calico, Cowboy, used to be aggressive and territorial and attacks strangers (and sometimes me) on a regular basis. Mica gave me some tips on how to move my furniture, feed healthier food and create a better environment for Cowboy, and he is is like a different cat now. I was worried to leave him with Mica because of his stealth attacks, but he is a total baby with her. She can easily pick him up, and when she is here, he always wants her to love on him. Mica and associates have been cat sitting for me for a year now, and it doesn't get much better than their services! They take detailed notes on your kitties' requirements, and also send you daily pictures of them and text them to you. I find this very reassuring. When I return home, I never find "the boys" needy or anxious, so I know they were well taken care of. In addition, I have called on Mica with questions about vets, symptoms my cats were experiencing, and have received prompt responses. I have a lot to worry about, but having my kitties well taken care of while I'm away, is something I don't have to stress about. read more

Mica is professional and put my mind at ease as soon as I met her. She is obviously a pet lover and listened carefully to my instructions about our pet's specific needs. She was nice enough to send us a thorough email half way through our vacation to let us know our kitty was doing great and all was well with our home... and when we did get back to Santa Barbara, we found our cat more well-brushed than he has been in years! Mica is an excellent cat sitter. Our cat Cece typically is a compulsive groomer when we go away for long periods and can tend to go bald in spots, but not with Snoopy's Cat Sitting! I hired Mica to take care of my semi-feral highly energetic rescued cat Kato (named from the Pink Panther movies as he too has perfected the art of the ambush!).
