We highly recommend this business. Just recently, we rescued a maltese mix from a local shelter…read more Being a stray, it goes without saying that he was very matted and dirty. Once we got him home, it didn't take long for us to call Dogs Etc to schedule an appointment. Our two other dogs, a golden lab and flat coat retriever mix also were due for a groom so we scheduled everyone together. Dogs Etc is very conveniently located. Priscilla was the groomer up to the task of making the dogs look great. When we walked in later in the day to pickup our dogs, I hardly recognized the new dog. What a transformation! She really did a terrific job with all the dogs. We really appreciate her skills and attn to detail when working her magic. We will continue using Dogs Etc and Priscilla knowing that our dogs will look great each and every time

I've been coming here for years. I love their work, but they have the worst turnover, which makes…read morepricing really inconsistent. I have dogs with heavy coats who need specialty groomers that truly know what they're doing. On my last visit, the price for my 70/80-Ib dog jumped from $150 to a little over $400. Not only did the price keep increasing before I even picked him up, but the grooming itself wasn't done well. I tracked down my old groomer afterward, and she told me his nails were still long, he had a large matted knot behind his ear, and the nail on his heel was curled. So the job wasn't just overpriced it was poorly done. I've had great groomers here in the past. They use quality shampoo, the facility is clean, and everyone is nice. But Dogs Etc. has lost so many of their best groomers, and those groomers were the people who could have made this business truly exceptional. I won't be going back unfortunately. Also I always gave great tips! Love my groomers!! My update Yes it was absolutely here DOGs ETC. and I've been going there for at least a decade if not more. Like I said your shop is amazing but you have lost (or the past owners) many many good groomers but this last one was insane. I should have asked for the owners when she decided to charge me $400 at 24886 Apple St, Newhall, CA 91321 Also obviously this is my nickname. I can give you her name if you want but by now she may be gone.

NEVER again! I let the person checking us in know how I wanted my dogs hair cut and he suggested a…read moresummer cut which I agreed to. I was so disappointed when my fiancé brought him home. The cut was uneven. They pretty much just gave up on his head and nicked the top of his head leaving it raw, so raw and red that it looked like it had bled. On top of all that it smelled like they had sprayed him with a heavy perfume. I ended up giving him another bath the smell was so strong. I chose to call this morning once I'd had a chance to cool off. I asked the person on the phone if he'd been the person there when we dropped off my dog and asked what happened? He asked what happened? I mentioned the terrible hair cut, the fact that my dog had been cut and that he reeked of perfume. He tried to tell me the haircut was agreed upon which I did not agree to a hack job! I've done a better job of cutting his hair with NO experience and managed not to hurt him. I started getting upset and misspoke stating that my dog had bled to which he quickly said he wasn't bleeding. I corrected myself and he still flat out denied that they had left his skin raw. By the time I got off the phone it turned very ugly. I didn't want to leave a bad review. Had they acknowledged and apologized things would have been different but they chose to get defensive instead. What a shame!

Awesome service, dog looks brand new!!! We will definitely be returning :) big shout out to Eddie…read morehe's the man

We recently picked up our two dogs from a 10-day stay at South Park Doggie DTLA. After 5+ years of…read moreloyalty and thousands of dollars spent here, this will be our last visit. One of our dogs requires daily Prozac, which we always provide along with a fresh bag of pill pockets so he'll reliably take his meds. When we returned home and resumed our routine, we opened the bag only to have hundreds of cockroaches swarm out. The infestation spread into our kitchen, and we now have to pay for ongoing extermination. We have never had any issues with pests such as roaches in our home before, and the extermination process has been costly and disruptive. This was clearly a health and cleanliness issue inside the facility. What's worse, it became clear our dog was potentially not receiving his prescribed medication. If staff had been giving it daily, they would have opened the bag and noticed the infestation immediately. This raises serious concerns about the level of care provided to all pets, not just ours. To make matters even more frustrating, when we brought this to higher management, instead of taking accountability, they turned it back on us -- saying that because we called the exterminator, it was "our problem." That response was dismissive, unprofessional, and completely ignored the real issue. Cockroach infestations pose health risks, and the disregard for administering medication shows a lack of basic responsibility. After 5+ years of trust, we are extremely disappointed. Pet owners deserve better -- we strongly urge others to reconsider before boarding their dogs here.

Goodness! I was blown away by the technician's thoroughness and how clean my car was when I stepped in. It felt new! It felt like a $300 detail for a third of the price! I was almost in tears. So, never coming here again…read more It's such a shame because I've been coming here since I bought my first Toyota. It's been over 15 years and they've washed all 4 of my cars. Yesterday was my birthday so I figured I'd stop by and do my birthday car wash. It was really nice how they upgraded everything and the guy wiping down my car did a great job. That was until when I sat in my car and as I was leaving, I noticed a smudge/streak across the windshield. I figured he missed a spot and I could just finish it myself since I was busy that day. As I started wiping it down, I noticed there was a part of it that was not coming off...and unfortunately it turned out to be a scratch. I have been washing/detailing my own car but that day, I figured I'd give it a break and enjoy a free birthday wash. Go back to the car wash and explain to them what I found, and speaking to the assistant manager, I was immediately met with defensiveness and excuses. I honestly did not need their processed explained to me like 5 times. After a bit of back and forth, he wrote down his name and the mangers name and told me to come back tomorrow. Come in today and spoke to the manager and I was met with basically the same resistance and same excuses. Despite the co-manager mentioning they can check the cameras, the main manager immediately dismissed the idea and said there's no way the cameras would pick it up anyway, even though I was told they had cameras everywhere!! Ok, so the guy who wiped down my car didn't report the damage caused. I was told they have cameras but now they are apparently useless in this case. So I concluded with the manager, "So if your windshield gets scratched, you get screwed and you guys won't do anything about it." And in a very round about way, he agreed with me. Apparently I'm not worth the cost for the damage they caused. That's the end of my business with them. They have insurance for these things but they were not willing to put in any effort to go that route, or offer any other solutions. I was just not worth the cost...thanks I guess? Quality of customer has gone down hill and they're more than ok with losing customers. I cannot recommend coming here since it's clear from this incident that if they damage your car, they're less than willing to own up to it. And yet they raised their standard car wash pricing. Can't trust these guys to do anything to my car, especially since I was going to add tinting to my windows soon. They'll likely just damage that too and not own up to it. What a disappointment this place has become. Thanks for giving me a sour memory on my birthday guys.
