We highly recommend this business. Just recently, we rescued a maltese mix from a local shelter…read more Being a stray, it goes without saying that he was very matted and dirty. Once we got him home, it didn't take long for us to call Dogs Etc to schedule an appointment. Our two other dogs, a golden lab and flat coat retriever mix also were due for a groom so we scheduled everyone together. Dogs Etc is very conveniently located. Priscilla was the groomer up to the task of making the dogs look great. When we walked in later in the day to pickup our dogs, I hardly recognized the new dog. What a transformation! She really did a terrific job with all the dogs. We really appreciate her skills and attn to detail when working her magic. We will continue using Dogs Etc and Priscilla knowing that our dogs will look great each and every time

I've been coming here for years. I love their work, but they have the worst turnover, which makes…read morepricing really inconsistent. I have dogs with heavy coats who need specialty groomers that truly know what they're doing. On my last visit, the price for my 70/80-Ib dog jumped from $150 to a little over $400. Not only did the price keep increasing before I even picked him up, but the grooming itself wasn't done well. I tracked down my old groomer afterward, and she told me his nails were still long, he had a large matted knot behind his ear, and the nail on his heel was curled. So the job wasn't just overpriced it was poorly done. I've had great groomers here in the past. They use quality shampoo, the facility is clean, and everyone is nice. But Dogs Etc. has lost so many of their best groomers, and those groomers were the people who could have made this business truly exceptional. I won't be going back unfortunately. Also I always gave great tips! Love my groomers!! My update Yes it was absolutely here DOGs ETC. and I've been going there for at least a decade if not more. Like I said your shop is amazing but you have lost (or the past owners) many many good groomers but this last one was insane. I should have asked for the owners when she decided to charge me $400 at 24886 Apple St, Newhall, CA 91321 Also obviously this is my nickname. I can give you her name if you want but by now she may be gone.

NEVER again! I let the person checking us in know how I wanted my dogs hair cut and he suggested a…read moresummer cut which I agreed to. I was so disappointed when my fiancé brought him home. The cut was uneven. They pretty much just gave up on his head and nicked the top of his head leaving it raw, so raw and red that it looked like it had bled. On top of all that it smelled like they had sprayed him with a heavy perfume. I ended up giving him another bath the smell was so strong. I chose to call this morning once I'd had a chance to cool off. I asked the person on the phone if he'd been the person there when we dropped off my dog and asked what happened? He asked what happened? I mentioned the terrible hair cut, the fact that my dog had been cut and that he reeked of perfume. He tried to tell me the haircut was agreed upon which I did not agree to a hack job! I've done a better job of cutting his hair with NO experience and managed not to hurt him. I started getting upset and misspoke stating that my dog had bled to which he quickly said he wasn't bleeding. I corrected myself and he still flat out denied that they had left his skin raw. By the time I got off the phone it turned very ugly. I didn't want to leave a bad review. Had they acknowledged and apologized things would have been different but they chose to get defensive instead. What a shame!

Awesome service, dog looks brand new!!! We will definitely be returning :) big shout out to Eddie…read morehe's the man

The entire experience was going so well…read more The entire staff and location was great - everything was awesome -- Until the Vet ( Dr. Janet Landa) felt she had to push her force-free agenda on us in a passive aggressive and condescending way that made both the rescue sponsor and myself very uncomfortable ****FIRST OFF**** Vets are NOT educated in canine behavior, nutrition, or other specialized fields unless trained - which Dr Landa is not -- and even if she was -- we came for a neuter and bloodwork, not a training consultation SO - when im trying to keep us on track on the objective of the exam, and Landa keeps on trying to highjack the appointment to become a behavioral consultation --- like lady.....be trained in behavior and start your own training practice if you really want to undermine successful dog trainers that use tools (boohoo) I am a canine behavior specialist that works with rescues and vet clinics - from Malibu and Thousand Oaks, to Dallas, TX and New York, NY. This rescue reached out to me for help - I recommended we look at certain vet hospitals, but the rescue really wanted to save money, so they found this corporate vet clinic (ooof) The receptionists were nice, the facility was nice, but the moment the Dr realized I was a behavior specialists who uses equipment without a college degree (sorry ive had 4 mentors - dont need it ;P), she got very very very passive aggressive and pretentious Implying that she was advocating for the dog and that I was not Implying that I was uneducated And trying to convince the rescue's sponsor, to find another dog trainer -- like lady I've saved so many of their dogs --- are you insane?? We are going to pick one of the 4 local vet clinics that refer to me instead of VCA Parkwood even though theyre more expensive than Parkwood -- simply because of Dr Landa's unwarranted, unrequested, and passive aggressive behavior I know she's a new Dr there, but she should still be reprimanded Vets are no trained in behavior or nutrition, please stay in your own lane next time, and observe how you talk to your clients -- bedside manner encompasses more than just how we talk to the canine client - its how you also work the human component that matters - and she needs education on that .5/10 would fire her if she was one of my apprentices, but whatever not my business.

I LOVE this car wash! I pay for a gold wash package which is unlimited washes. I live by the beach…read moreand park outside. This package is worth its weight in "gold" !!!! One, I can go as many times as I want per month! Two, I don't have to vacuum my own car and sweat my ass off trying to get the dog hair off. Three , my black car looks brand new every time I leave. Four, I like how they offer things when you get there on the laminated sheet so that you can actually figure out what you want to have done to your car rather than just saying a silver package that really wasn't what you needed. Five, if I ever see anything that needs a touch up or redo, they get right back to it and fix it; no questions asked! I also like when they tell me I'll need a wax job soon. I park outside by sprinklers and get hard water spotting on my black paint job. . The manager is so nice and he shows when it's getting pretty bad and I make the decision of when I need to wax. That's another thing about this place: the customer service! Luis Garcia is one of the managers (I think) . He inspects every car before they leave. He always strives to make us as the customers happy !! An example .One day, I had a playground ball fall out off car and do you know it bounced wayyyyyy down beach blvd and he had he's boys jump in the car and go pick it up!!! THAT my friend is exceptional customer service will not het many places these days !!! Get car washed here. You won't be disappointed .

Poor customer service and misleading explanation of the pricing…read more I've been a regular customer at Russell Fischer and normally use my AAA discount, which takes $4 off my car wash. Today I purchased $50 of gas. At the pump, I selected the car-wash option because doing so gives you a reduced gas price. The option at the pump was the $20 self-service wash. I didn't want the self-service wash, so I went with the hand wash instead. The hand wash was $46.99 plus the $6 large-vehicle charge, totaling $52.99. The $20 self-service wash amount was then applied toward the hand wash, leaving $32.99. When I asked for my usual $4 AAA discount, the employee refused and told me I had already received a "$20 discount." That isn't what happened--the $20 was the price of the self-service wash associated with the gas promotion, not my AAA discount. What made the situation worse was the employee's attitude. When I questioned the charge, she was rude and told me she "didn't care." That is completely unacceptable customer service. I'm not upset about $4. I'm disappointed that a regular customer was treated this way and that the employee couldn't simply explain the pricing or get a manager to clarify it. Russell Fischer should review both the transaction and the employee's conduct.
