    Cut your own lavender!
    Alex O.

So happy we stumbled upon this place on the way back to Seattle from Snoqualmie. $5 for 100 stems of lavender you cut yourself. The owners were so friendly and helpful and made our spontaneous visit the highlight of our trip. There is fragrant lavender for ornamental use and also culinary lavender that you can cut. The owners also offer to take a cute photo for a souvenir. Will definitely come back again!

Love these ladies! They're the nicest! Cute little farm enough for picking and taking pictures. Would come back every year!

They provide baskets and scissors for U-pick!

Fun little stop! It's $5 to pick a bundle of 50 stems. We bought some lavender lemonade which was so refreshing!

The owners of this small family farm were super friendly and fun to chat with. They have lavender bunches for sale, but also offer a "pick your own" option, which we did. They gave some recommendations on how to best cut the stems, and provided baskets and scissors. They have a Groupon available this year for u-pick and access to some additional time for photos. They had a few other products like lavender tea and honey available for sale, but offerings may vary by availability. I'd recommend checking their Facebook or calling ahead for questions or more information on blooms. And, keep in mind parking is limited as it is in a residential area. Definitely recommend it as a fun summer outing!

Small family run business near Snoqualmie Falls. Staff was friendly and parking all around. Only $10 and you get a basket to borrow and pick 100 lavender stems that smell amazing.

Came here at the recommendation of a friend who took her baby here for a photo shoot. It is just a bit of a drive from Seattle, so perfect location in the summer if you are interested in a lavender farm photo shoot. As soon as you get there, you can smell the lavender, it's a lovely scent and not overwhelming. We were a bit confused about where to go, but actually there is no entrance fee, so you can go anywhere and take pictures as you like in the field. They have a small hut by the field where you can get scissors and a basket for u-pick lavender. I recommend taking pics first and then before you leave, ask for the scissors and basket, so you're not carrying them around for the pictures. The farm was smaller than I thought, but it was quite pretty, would come back here again next year. Also if you are in the area, I recommend stopping by Snoqualmie falls as well.

Visited Snofalls Lavender farm on their last day of the season. It was our first time there, and we're so glad we went. Although it wasn't a huge field, it was clean and well kept. The smell was intoxicating! The prices were very reasonable. Their customer service was amazing! The two ladies that helped us were friendly, accommodating, and sweet. Since it's located about 30 minutes from Seattle, I would definitely recommend a short day trip for any lavender lover.

This was a great experience. It is a smaller patch of lavender, but it's just the right size. The smell and quantity in the small area was great for a U-Pick experience, and we got just what we wanted for the BEST price. It was only $5 per bundle! The owner was so sweet and her staff of pickers for the "pre-picked" bundles were so hardworking and very kind. Highly recommended for the lavender season!

The farm was a pleasant destination to visit on Whidbey Island. We started in Seattle and drove two hours to the farm. We toured for about an hour, including time in the shop. We bought a lavender essential oil bottle, filled on location, and a lavender coconut ice cream bar. They are closed for the season at 8/16 this year.

This is a small/medium lavender farm pretty close to Seattle! $5 to pick 100 stems and the place was big enough where several people can be there and there was enough space for pictures! You park next to the farm on the street. Would recommend coming here if you don't want to drive far away and just want the pictures!

We checked their website and saw they are open Friday thru Sunday and decided to give it a go. They are tucked in a bit away from the road but that just means it's nice and quiet around nature. There is a one lane dirt road that winds back to their farm. There is plenty of parking and port a potties if you need a bathroom while there. They were super friendly and had buckets pre filled with bags, but we brought our own produce bags for picking to be more eco friendly. There is a great amount of space in between their blueberry bushes and very limited weeds to contend with. They directed us to where the best and ripest berries were and even had one outdoor tent you could use and move it to help protect yourself from the hot day. They had TONS of ripe berries- even the smaller ones were sweet and tasty... "try as you go" they told us so we did. This farm began with road side farm stands in 2020 and then in 2021 they had the blueberry bushes and U Pick that exists now. There are four families that band together to make this farm work. There were a couple families working under the farm stand tents when we checked out. They accept cash or credit card and blueberries are $3.99 per pound. We picked ~9.25 lbs of berries. We like to freeze our berries to use throughout the year. They said they don't spray their berries and are organically grown. We would definitely return to Fable Farm!

Initially I was worried about going out this far from the city because we are queer and weren't sure just how welcoming places out of the city are, but they were great and we didn't feel unwanted at all. We berry picked at three of the rows they told us that most of the picking was being done, they don't spray things on their berries so they told us we can snack while we pick. We ended up leaving with some of their honey and a jam as well. Would recommend this place to my friends and anyone looking for berry picking!

This review has been months overdue. We started about 6 months ago once a week lessons for my…read moredaughter. It's unfortunate that the owner Katie claims she has a world class facility and believes in strong values for young women yet that was not our experience. The ONLY reason I stayed this long was for my daughter-and how close and convenient it was to our home. There was a point where my children were sick and we needed a reschedule. I could not get ahold of the Instructor or anyone on this "farm" for 2 weeks. The fact we pay one month ahead and no contact did not sit well with me. Upon finally getting a text to schedule we returned and I did make a comment that I was not appreciative of no follow up. Katie approached me and let me know that she had no time to talk and that she and the instructor liked my daughter and that was the only reason we were "there". A jab at me I can take. I continued to go for my daughter no big deal. I did think it was unfortunate she approached me so hostile as if we were bothering her trying to reschedule for a month we paid for. Unprofessional either way. It's unfortunate that with all of the quotes on empowering women on your walls you act so catty. I suppose that's why she caters to teenagers because she cannot get along with adult women they are seen as a threat. Her sister continued to make comments about a stroller I had walking through the barn.. I had been there 6 months with that stroller and was just now hearing how I shouldn't walk through the barn with it pretty convenient catty behavior comes out full force when they cannot take feedback. As far as " world class facility " goes it is far from that. I've lived in multiple states and visited facilities such as Express Horsemanship in Yukon Ok that is world class. This is highly over emphasized term with this place. No heaters for horses no warm water the floor in the barn is barely held together or flat. The viewing room is dark damp and cold the sliding door barely opens correctly, roof leaks Mismatched roofing and poor lighting. The term working farm is also misused in this case. The female staff seem very intimidated by Katie although probably work perfect for her to boss around. This is absolutely backward and after speaking to a few horsemanship's in the surrounding cities that actually have heat and warm water / clean facilities for clients and horses ... I can see why I should not have settled for Deerfield because of location. If the Owner lived by her written values I could see this place thriving. It is a shame, because young women need great mentors and community. The reputation Deerfield has that I've seen and heard from other facilities/ horsemanship trainers ....is not standing to what their values state, the fact I've heard the same feedback and opinion from ACTUAL high class facilities backs why I need to write this review. THE fact that I have business and family connections to world champion reining coaches/trainers and horses such has the Flarida Family ( Shawn Flarida reining ) and Matt Mills/ Karen Mills ( Matt Mills Reining ) and have told them of her treatment of myself and daughter they could only shake their head and let me know I made a terrible decision going to that "place" And are happy we found better options. The facility has possible potential. The owner seems in my experience to be in a comfort zone of a high school bitter mentality and it's too bad. Check other facilities that will assist in great horsemanship and confidence for your young impressionable child.

My daughter started at Deerfield to have an occasional riding lesson but it quickly became her…read morepassion, community and extended family.
