Big plump blueberry!
Gina B.

I came here a few weekends ago and had a great time! The parking lot is on grass. After you find the entrance to the farm, there is a setup with plastic liners and buckets that you can grab yourself. The lady at the table told us which blueberries were at their peak that weekend (I think it was Drapers and Dukes), and pointed us in the direction on where to go to find them. I appreciated this information because I myself have no blueberry knowledge except for the fact that I love how they taste. There were plenty of bushes to pick from, and plenty of berries on most of them! The labeling for the bushes is a little confusing though because it's not clear where each type starts and begins, but I wasn't too bothered by it. I enjoyed trying to find which parts of the bushes had the plumpest, bluest berries. Some of these things were HUGE! I was afraid to over pick because it's almost $3/lb and it is way too easy to fill up that bucket, so I didn't get too much (a few pounds). When I got home, I went to town on those berries. They were delicious- just enough tart, and sweet! To keep them longer. I froze half of them... but I now wish I picked some more so that I could have them fresh. I look forward to making smoothies with the frozen ones!

We decided to check this farm out on Saturday as it was the first opening week. Luckily the words haven't got out yet and we were probably the second group that was there. You just grab a bucket and fill it with a liner and go to field and grab as much blueberry as you can! The blueberry was also very plump and ripe which is nice. I was a little afraid that a lot would still be unripe since it's so early. The field was definitely well maintained which is nice as well The pricing was $2.70/lb so it wasn't cheap but it wasn't bad either.

Great for social distance outings - plenty of safe practices and delicious berries at great prices, today we bought 4lbs at 2.70/lb. Thank you!

In speaking of blueberry quality, this farm is a solid 4 stars to me. This is not a super big farm, but still, lots of bushes to pick from. Bucket with a plastic bag liner and sanitizer are provided. They accept cash and cc. The blueberries are ripping very well as for July 4th weekend. The quality is good and sweet. I was able to find some big ones.

Huge berries!! Duke variety

We visited Henna blueberry farm for the second year in a row! Big, luscious berries were plentiful! We had a whole row to ourselves to plenty of space for kids to roam around but stay close! The farmers are so friendly and I cannot say enough good things about this place! We picked 20lbs in an hour!!! Came home and made jam, muffins and pie!!

So kind of like Pokemon Go, I'm on a quest to pick every kind of berry I can find in the Pacific Northwest. Henna carries several varieties of blueberries, but the owners said they're all sweet when ripe and it's hard to differentiate between them unless you are a botanist or a berry master (like I am lol). Most importantly, the blueberries here are delicious! It's best to check their FB page as that's where they give updates on their opening hours and when berries are available to pick. Also I suggest bringing your own boxes/bags for the drive back home. They'll supply you with 12 lb buckets to carry while you're foraging in their fields, but when it's time to cash out, they only have small paper sandwich bags. So yea, if you've picked 12 lbs of berries and didn't bring any boxes...it's going to be an awkward ride back to Seattle with 50 little paper bags of blueberries.

They are right next to remlinger farms! We went with our friends for the first time. The experience was good, berries were deliciously sweet! We picked 10.5 pounds of draper blueberries in less than 30 mins. Made some blueberry crumble the same night :) Would definitely go again. Fun activity to do with parents or kids.

Henna Blueberry Farm. Lots of fun. Not too hot, even in July. No bugs to speak of. Beautiful drive to the farm.

A PNW Treasure for Families!…read more If you're looking for the perfect family day trip in the Snoqualmie Valley, Remlinger Farms is an absolute must. We had such an incredible time here, and it's easily become one of our favorite local spots. What makes this place special is that it's so much more than just a farm--it's a full-blown experience. Here's why we loved it: The Fun Park: The rides are perfect for younger kids! From the classic kiddie coaster to the charming train ride that loops around the property, there's plenty to keep them entertained for hours. The Animals: The petting zoo was a huge hit. The animals are well-cared for, and it's such a sweet, hands-on way for kids to connect with nature. The Food & Market: You cannot leave without visiting the market. Their famous pies (especially the marionberry!) are legendary for a reason. We also loved the café for a quick, fresh lunch. The Atmosphere: Even when it's busy, the farm has a wonderful, relaxed energy. It's clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the scenery in Carnation is just stunning. Whether you're going for the summer berries, the fall pumpkin patch, or just a weekend outing, Remlinger Farms delivers every time. It's a nostalgic, wholesome, and genuinely fun place to make memories. We'll definitely be back!

It was a short distance to walk anyway, so it was fine. Otherwise, driving around and trying to find parking near the main entrance would have been a hassle since the spaces there were much smaller and too many cars were there anyway. Once we walked inside, there was a market full of snacks - baking flavors, candy Apple, hot chocolate mix, Pumpkins, taffy, trail mix, etc. You can also buy tickets there or scan the pre-paid online QR Code in order to get Stickers to go on in. Just have to walk through the turnstile or however you call it to get to the area with the rides - Ferris wheel, merry go round, a small roller coaster and more, farm animals, restaurant and train. A short walk to each of the different sections of the farm with little photo areas were present as well, along with the arcade, bathrooms, restaurant and snack bars (only open on weekends). The other side of the farm had the U-Pick Pumpkins as you enter/exit the Remlinger Farms while driving on the main road. Anyhow for 2 Adults, 1 baby (less than 2 years old), the admission fees online cost $17.50 plus tax on a weekday. Overall, we had a decent experience as our first time. Rode on a few of the rides, including the train, which was a pretty short round-trip. Took some nice pictures, visited the petting zoo, and the bouncy place with my son. Picked out a couple of Pumpkins on our drive out and called it a day after spending 2 hours there. Would have been better if all of the rides and snack bars were open for the public on the weekdays, too. But we probably wouldn't visit on the weekends since I am sure it's really crowded and parking would be a mess. Plus, the entrance fees would be more expensive.

It's right off the main road, easy to find, plenty of parking and very clean port a potty on site. The person working the stand was super helpful and informative. On the day of our visit they had U pick green beans and pickling cucumbers. My friend spent so much money on pickling cucumbers (I guess they are all water and very heavy), but I had a nice time picking enough green beans for the next nights dinner for a reasonable price. They also had already picked corn that you could take home for about 75 cents each. Both tasted delicious when cooked up the following day, my friend is making pickles so that will take some time. Next up is squash, closer to the end of October, I'm tempted to return to pick some spaghetti squash, they will also have acorn and pumpkins. Currently they have 4 sunflower mazes, we were in a bit of a hurry so we only did one, but it was a really nice photo opp and a good excuse to add in some more steps. On the day we visited there was a sale for 5$, but the price is normally 10$ for all 4, very reasonable. The maze we choose, since we didn't go to the website like we were encouraged to do, was just an out and back, but the other 3 might be more maze like. This was my first time in a sunflower field and very fun on a warm, sunny day. I did not realize there would be so many bees, but they left us alone. I hope to make it back here some day soon.

Arriving at Carnation Farms, not knowing what exactly might be there, I was firstly surprised to see the classic "Carnation Farms" logo with the exact font type and the carnation flower on the cans of evaporated milk that I have seen my entire life. Wait a minute, is this THE "Carnation Farms"? Well, yes, but also a no, but also a yes. LOL. I ended up reading the historical signs and chatting with the cashier for a while (there were no other customers - zero). Carnation was indeed the dairy farm that made the now world-famous evaporated milk, created in 1899. The business grew and thrived so well that the community of Tolt was renamed to Carnation in 1917 although the name changed back and forth two more times before it stayed with Carnation. In downtown Carnation, many businesses are still named Tolt, including the Tolt River. In 1985, Nestle brought the Carnation company. In 2016, the original Stuart family purchased the name "Carnation Farms" back from Nestle. The name rights exclude diary, but they have animals and is now a venue, amongst other business ventures. We missed a local market that was on the previous day. Today, this sleepy business sells many locally made products and hosts community events such as the local market. Limited bundles of produce represented the 'farm' name poorly, if I am being honest. I asked the cashier which products in the store are actually from the current farm. She pointed to the freezer case. I chose a frozen curry goat soup from the case. It was passable, more soup than goat, i.e. not much meat. If you want to visit, check their calendar of events and go for a museum tour or one of their many events. The shop itself is less interesting.

But I was very turned off last year by them asking for tips when paying with a credit card! They can turn off the tip option on their credit card machine but they choose not to. I think sometimes they let go through the screen yourself and select your options on the ipad but I've also encountered them several times asking loudly, do you want to leave a tip? Their u-pick prices are already $1-$3 higher per pound for most things compared to the farmers market and then on top of that they want tips. It is DISGUSTING. They don't make tipped wages like waiters so why are they trying to get even more money from their customers through tips? People may leave tips but guess what, in this economic climate, we don't want to leave tips. But we feel that if we don't that you will not only judge us but perhaps even treat us badly. The tips that you have received aren't a signal that we think you are doing a great job; we are afraid of repercussions if we don't. Edit: I thought they were organic but I just checked their website and it doesn't explicitly say that they are, it did mention healthy soil. But it says they offer organic vegetable starts which kinda implies they are organic. So keep this in mind when looking at their pricing.
