    harvest festival prices for foods
    Jboogie L.

Went to Harvest Festival. Limited number of vendors and it's on a steep slope up to the Hippodrome. The space is upgraded with ceiling heaters. There was a booth for foods. Across the street, there is a farmer's stand. It's beautiful and serene. Would love to take a walk someday but probably not safe as the roads are narrow. Would like to see more vendors at this venue next time at the Harvest Festival. Easy parking. Would also like to see more options (drinks) or prepared foods already made at the Farm Stand (provide a microwave or something). It would be nice to have an outdoor covering with picnic tables overlooking the farm since you can see cows from afar.

We came for an event- one of the summer concerts. Small bands - this was an Eagles tribute band. Let me arrived. We found parking near the road. I just had to walk up to the event. Up is an offer for it because of the hell is a little steep. I was impressed. They had people out there with parking directing cars where to park and they also had a van/shuttle to take people up the hill to the venue. Super organized. The grounds are so pretty and the day was perfect. We laid out blankets. I brought some comfy pillows and just relaxed. I would've taken more pictures, but people kept getting in my way. Lol They do not allow outside food or drink. We walked over to the trailer and the wine was pretty reasonably priced. We bought a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc for 30 bucks and toasted a gorgeous day. This event had two food trucks at it and we went and bought some tacos because who doesn't love tacos. They were really good I just didn't get pictures because I was back at the blanket guarding the wine and I have no idea which food truck was used. Later, the band came on It was really a lot of fun. We had great people around us. We also had a lot of space if we could stretch out and relax I mean what else could you ask for beautiful day fantastic grounds, fun, music, wine, and tacos. We're doing another concert there next month and I am so looking forward to it

A popular stop among motorcycle and cyclist. They offer a wide variety of drag grocery items. From farm to table. The drive is always enjoyable on a nice sunny day.

Free Summer concerts from 4-7! On Sundays

Great parking great people some food trucks-maybe one or two. good music good wine, good beer if you'd like that non-alcoholic beverages available. Great place to sit on the lawn. Listen to music can't go wrong with free! You can park where the cows used to sleep and the shuttle will take a ride up to the front where the receptionist is waiting to check you in or you can have the shuttle to take you up the hill. The music last about two hours from 4 to 7. They take a break for an hour from 5 to 6. The shuttle will take you back to your car also or you can take the slight walk down the hill. You can probably get in without having tickets but make reservations online if you don't and I'm pretty sure you'll still be able to get in anyways, I would sit in the shade towards the back you can hear the music just fine enjoy give it a shot can't go wrong

This review is for the "farm to table" experience I recently visited with my friend and fellow yelper Jason G for a weekend evening of farm food experience. I thoroughly enjoyed driving out to Carnation surrounded by greenery and a feel of country farm Excellent farm to table experience! Approximately 25 guests allowing opportunity to mingle and meet new people including some local winery makers featured at the dinner Dining experience under covered area on the farm with wait staff and a outdoor fire oven with featured chef. All the food locally sourced with neighboring plants meats wine. Each course was presented edu me on new ways I could think of eating Fantastic community dining for the summer! Well worth the money for the experience and great quality food

The farm stand is a cute grocery store with fresh produce, protein and a variety of small businesses who are allowed to sell there products there to support the community entrepreneurs. Last year they had yummy soft serve ice cream that included a dairy free option but they stated they no longer were doing it bc "the machine was a beast breaking down all the time". It's a bummer because it was tasty and not super expensive but understandable if it wasn't working properly. They now serve frozen ice creams from a variety of local WA businesses- just wish there were some more vegan choices besides the hemp option. We hadn't seen them at the Issaquah farmers market so we trekked out there to grab two Thai Basil and two Genovese basil plants for our garden. While there we restocked on our San Juan Island sea salt Popcorn Blend. If you haven't tried it get some it's super yummy on veggies! Tastes like it's got a cheesy flavor without the dairy! I've transplanted the basil plants and they look great in the garden.

Came to the Carnation Farms for the U-Pick Pumpkin Patch. It is located just a short drive down a narrow path from the public farmstand out on the main road. Admission is free and parking is free and plentiful. The pumpkin patch itself was about a quarter mile down from the main entrance. Along the way there were lots of cute animals (chickens, pigs, rabbits, sheep, etc.) you can get up close with, all of them seemed very used to human contact including the sheep which didn't move away even when being touched. There are electric fences in some areas so tread with caution and watch your kids. All in all had a great time here :)

Had the pleasure to volunteer here for United Way of King County's annual Day of Caring. The farm is a vast and beautiful sight while driving down the hill past the public farmstand. Our hosts were also friendly and gave a tour in the beginning to explain their non-profit organization. We were tasked with harvesting the squash and pumpkin in an entire acre, which would then be distributed to farmer markets and local restaurants. It was a lot of fun to rummage through the vines snipping off squash to load onto a wheelbarrow before gently washing them. By the end of the day, we had helped picked over 3.5 tons (7000 pounds) of cucurbits! In addition, we helped moved a turkey fence for the rafter to have a fresh plot of grass to graze. If volunteering, be smart about what you wear! I made the mistake of wearing short sleeves and ended up with a rash on both arms that lasted for a few weeks.

I think that sometimes people think of a Christian camp ministry as a "full time vacation" instead of a "full time VOCATION". But in a state that runs rampant with false philosophies, spiritual chaos and people drifting rudderless in an ocean of confusion... we find Camp Gilead - a vitally important camp ministry serving both churched and un-churched children, youth, and families. The camp is an oasis of light and hope in the spiritual wilderness of Washington. Camp Gilead faithfully communicates the message of Christ to the lost, with relevant programs, quality facilities, and a staff with a servants heart. Campers can experience a time of rest and renewal - and then return to the difficulties faced in today's culture with hope! Knowledge of God and His truth have fallen on hard times in our contemporary American culture. We are distracted from thinking deeply about anything... because we are too busy focusing on ourselves and our own entertainment. The ministry of Camp Gilead provides a solution - a temporary haven of rest from the excess sensory stimulation that numbs our minds - providing time and resources to return to what really matters - God. My daughter attended Camp Gilead years ago, and her life was turned around. She then spent a couple of summers working there as a volunteer, and her memories still "run deep". As a father, the camp means alot to me - as the camp represents a place for fun... with a purpose. Josh and Kimberly are always looking for - and making improvements to - the camp, so each year it just keeps getting better. I HIGHLY recommend it!!! John Palma

A PNW Treasure for Families!…read more If you're looking for the perfect family day trip in the Snoqualmie Valley, Remlinger Farms is an absolute must. We had such an incredible time here, and it's easily become one of our favorite local spots. What makes this place special is that it's so much more than just a farm--it's a full-blown experience. Here's why we loved it: The Fun Park: The rides are perfect for younger kids! From the classic kiddie coaster to the charming train ride that loops around the property, there's plenty to keep them entertained for hours. The Animals: The petting zoo was a huge hit. The animals are well-cared for, and it's such a sweet, hands-on way for kids to connect with nature. The Food & Market: You cannot leave without visiting the market. Their famous pies (especially the marionberry!) are legendary for a reason. We also loved the café for a quick, fresh lunch. The Atmosphere: Even when it's busy, the farm has a wonderful, relaxed energy. It's clean, the staff is incredibly friendly, and the scenery in Carnation is just stunning. Whether you're going for the summer berries, the fall pumpkin patch, or just a weekend outing, Remlinger Farms delivers every time. It's a nostalgic, wholesome, and genuinely fun place to make memories. We'll definitely be back!

Otherwise, driving around and trying to find parking near the main entrance would have been a hassle since the spaces there were much smaller and too many cars were there anyway. Once we walked inside, there was a market full of snacks - baking flavors, candy Apple, hot chocolate mix, Pumpkins, taffy, trail mix, etc. You can also buy tickets there or scan the pre-paid online QR Code in order to get Stickers to go on in. Just have to walk through the turnstile or however you call it to get to the area with the rides - Ferris wheel, merry go round, a small roller coaster and more, farm animals, restaurant and train. A short walk to each of the different sections of the farm with little photo areas were present as well, along with the arcade, bathrooms, restaurant and snack bars (only open on weekends). The other side of the farm had the U-Pick Pumpkins as you enter/exit the Remlinger Farms while driving on the main road. Anyhow for 2 Adults, 1 baby (less than 2 years old), the admission fees online cost $17.50 plus tax on a weekday. Overall, we had a decent experience as our first time. Rode on a few of the rides, including the train, which was a pretty short round-trip. Took some nice pictures, visited the petting zoo, and the bouncy place with my son. Picked out a couple of Pumpkins on our drive out and called it a day after spending 2 hours there. Would have been better if all of the rides and snack bars were open for the public on the weekdays, too. But we probably wouldn't visit on the weekends since I am sure it's really crowded and parking would be a mess. Plus, the entrance fees would be more expensive.
