My favorite is the Hawaiian sunset! Even if you don't want to go all natural, there is an entire list to choose from. It would be a great mission to choose a new flavor each week over the summer (an all-time favorite is black cherry!!). They also have shaved ice available over ice cream. The ice is freshly crushed and flavors then poured over. Yum! To add to this you can have it topped with watermelon and mint. All in all, it's a perfect treat. The price is reasonable, $3.50 for a medium, which could certainly be shared. That's your prerogative; I don't often share. The owners are friendly and helpful, even remembering my order from the day before...way to be on top of it! Thank you to Chill for having such a fresh treat available for the upcoming summer months. Something cold and delicious…read more After previously missing out on a chance to try the Hawaiian Shaved Ice stand (they were closed around 8pm even though the sign advertised 9pm... weird), we swung by yesterday aftenoon to quench our heating selves. A thing to note: Hawaiian Shaved Ice is actually a little stand located in the parking lot between the new Angilo's pizza location and Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken. I kind of doubt this will be open during the colder months, but it's been open all summer nearly every day between 3-9pm. All they have is shaved ice. With TONS of flavors (and some fruit toppings) to choose from! Their prices are simple: $2 small. $3 medium. $4 large. All overflowing with iced goodness! Seriously. The small was huge! The Pina Colada flavor wasn't that great, but the orange and lime were good. I'm looking forward to trying more flavors before colder weather hits. Hawaiian Shaved Ice is a great alternative to places with daiy (although I'm sure the flavor syrups aren't really healthy). *bites flavored shaved ice* Ahhhhhhhhh.
