The food is served on paper plates with plastic utensils, which was quite a surprise given the prices. The kids' menu is particularly steep--around $20 for a basic burger. Our dinner meal was completely uninspiring and average--nothing stood out, making it tough to justify the steep prices for such a casual dining experience. Did we miss something? Perhaps they are known for their burgers? Im not sure. If I return, it will strictly be for a drink and/or a light appetizer on the lake while enjoying the music.

I was beyond excited to see they were going to be at Riverpark Farmers Market I just couldn't pass up this opportunity that I've been so long waiting for. Approached their tent the guy at the front was nice and gave me the menu. You can choose between a cinnamon waffle or a regular. I love cinnamon so I just had to. One scoop of ice cream. I opted in vanilla and 3 toppings: Kit Kat, Oreo and sprinkles. Waited less than 5 mins. $10 per order. The waffle cone was warm and so fluffy it was delicious. The ice cream was so creamy and the toppings were so fresh nothing tasted stale.I love the strawberry Kit Kat I wasn't expecting it and was such a pleasant surprise. I love how this dessert as a whole wasn't so sweet it was just PERFECT! Perfect dessert size and so delicious not to mention how cute it looked!!! Highly recommend! This was my first time experiencing the Wicked Waffle and the only thing Wicked was how wickedly delicious my dessert was. They had two waffle makers going, two people working nonstop to satisfy the orders, and a few scrumptious choices. The waffle cone itself is halfway between a classic waffle and a cone waffle with large spherical crispy bubbles of dough that retained some interior softness. The waffle gets curled into a cone, placed into a sleeve, and filled with ice cream and your preferred toppings. I failed miserably in that I was so excited to get my dessert that no photos of the final product were to be had. But let's just say that it was worth the wait. If I see this business around the central valley at another event, I will not abandon my folks....I don't do that....but I will gather them up so we can all enjoy this Wicked deliciousness again!

The BBQ was great, but what really stood out to me was the owner. He took a good 20 minutes to explain his methods, what goes into the process, and the passion he has for his craft. Great food, great conversation, and you can tell there's a lot of pride behind the BBQ. Plenty of places to eat outside and decent amount of seating inside. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Fresno. Check the days and times as they're not open 7-days a week. Don't want you to be disappointed.

Before I say anything about the food, the atmosphere was amazing. We were greeted even before hitting the door by the owner and the team at the smoker. I've been lucky enough to taste brisket at some of the best BBQ joints in Texas, and Mega is on par with any of them. The trip tip was tender and full of flavor, and the hot links nice and smoky. We were also able to try a house made jalapeno and Jack sausage that will blow your mind. Did I mention the sides? Brisket chili beans, Mac and cheese, and potato salad. Every single side dish was on point. I don't like my potato salad with a bunch of other stuff mixed in, and this one didn't miss. Hold up. Ever hear about Alabama sauce? Why hasn't anyone ever told me about. Alabama sauce? This concoction was delicious. A bbq sauce that's mayo based? Sign me up! You need to try it. Only thing better would've been a cold beer to wash it all down, bu then again, I probably wouldn't have left. Thanks again for the hospitality.
