That being said, Buvette Scott could be one of the best restaurants I've enjoyed the most on this two week trip!
It's small, and quaint, and comfortable, and has a staff so well adept to what the wants of its patrons, I just feel in love with Buvette Scott's.
Their menu was so eclectic it was hard to choose your dinner; because you want to try everything.
With the help of our (excellent) server, she orchestrated a pretty terrific dinner:
* Their CLAMS, TOMATILLO, SALSA VERDE were as fresh as the ocean and we (me and my wife) could have eaten 24 each.
* BOMBOLONE, CHICKEN LIVER PARFAIT, GINGER, PEAR
* EGGPLANT, CORN, RADICCHIO, LOBSTER XO
* BEEF TARTARE, ANCHOVIES, BROCOLI, EGG YOLK
* MIRAMICHI STRIPED BASS, PLUM, JIMMY NARDELLO
* DUCK COTECHINO, SPIGARELLO, PARSNIP
* WHITE LASAGNA, MATSUTAKE
* And two other dishes I cannot spell or translate or even slightly recognize what it was, but it was delicious.
When you walk into a restaurant you've never heard of and have no idea of their cuisine, for me, this kicks me into overdrive and makes me love these surprises.
