Came here as I wanted to try something new in QC! Not really knowing what to expect I entered the parking lot to see there was absolutely no parking. Good thing was that there is a Tim Horton's next door so I was able to sneak a spot!
As I entered this brewpub it was hopping! I mean very busy for a Thursday night! All the tables were full and there was a nice square bar where people were enjoying a drink before their buzzer goes off for their ready table! On this night I decided to eat at the bar!
Looking over the menu there is a good selection of beer. Something for any individuals palate. I decided that I didn't want to go too crazy so I tried their Libertine (Pale Ale). It was nice and light with a not too deep of a flavour. With this I decided to go with a "La cote gilmour" pizza. This was Crevettes nordiques, pâte de curry rouge, gingembre mariné, coriandre fraîche, juliennes de légumes, fromages Perron et fèves germées au vinaigre de Libertine. A very interesting concoction of flavour spice and zip! Not a gargantuan portion, not a small one either!
This is definitely a very popular brewpub and I see the reason why. It had a very busy almost pick up bar type feel. You never know it could be better than a night of online perusing match.com!
Used the restroom before I departed and was an interesting motif that the water faucet was a draft beer handle! Check out the washroom signs to get a little smile. I didn't want to take a photo (to look like a total dork) so you will have to go check for yourself!
Come for the food and the beer you shan't be disappointed! read more
