This one goes above and beyond. Has a decent selection of knives (including good ones, not just cheap imports). They have a large airsoft section. They had a lot of MREs and a good selection of camping equipment on display. My only gripe is that I wish they had more real military surplus (radio equipment, inert ordnance, etc) but almost no surplus store actually has that nowadays. Prices seemed decent. Note: my GPS took me to roughly the right place, but you can't see this store from the road. It's in a strip mall called Riverdale Center. If you see the D'Angelo restaurant, it's behind that. Look for the military ambulance parked in the parking lot.

My mower broke while I was mowing on a Saturday late afternoon so I called Monday morning when they opened and asked if they could pick it up and fix it I also asked if it was still under warranty they said it was one day over on the warranty. I said wow that sucks and asked them to let me know the price before they fix it. I got a call a few days later and they said the motor was blown and it was 5 or 6 thousand if my memory serves me correctly. I said wow then they told me they were able to replace it under warranty! I was so happy! They brought it back a few days later and it has run like new for the last 3 years. Thank you Taplin!

Called Taplin, they were able to pick it up the next day. Eric called after checking it out and the said the motor was blown. Of course was 2 months out of warranty, he said would call Ariens and see what he could do. Because of Eric's perseverance they replaced the motor, at no charge to us. Our heartfelt thanks to Eric, and to kudos to Taplin for having such a dedicated person on their staff.

Engaged with my 10 month old daughter and carried himself respectfully. One thing I would change about this place however, and I'm not sure if other Kohl's have them, would be to place little refrigerators by at least one register with water or sodas for customers to buy. Most places have them, and I thought it a little odd that they didn't. They have candy, so might as well sell something to wash it down with! I think that would do them well.

Then they wrote down on a list, per high school, that the particular dress had already been chosen. This meant that no other girl in my high school that year would be wearing my dress. That was HUGE. This was my second visit, and both times the staff took good care of me. During their soft opening, they tuned up our bicycles and did quality work at a fair price. This week, I needed a few pedal bolts loosened to make bike transport easier. They had me stop in, fixed it quickly, and sent me on my way. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They showed me some impressive new bikes, including cool electric models and one with eye-catching balloon tires. This time of year, the focus is clearly skis. They had plenty of ski gear and cold-weather clothing on display, ready for winter. I missed the grand opening, but the service won me over anyway.
