Should have and actually had thought, I bet she comes up with a reason to cancel what she told me. And she did. Let me come in to find they had retired that particular machine. Then wanted $4000 something for something new. She took out me a credit card info to get the $5000, I didn't ask for since it was a supposed free consultation. So I wasn't going to go that route and took it out of my IRA. Now she wants to offer me a lunch facial for the $195 everytime. That is NOT the same thing. Cheaper, not the lazer of Venus I wanted something comparable and asked. Have heard NOTHING!!! I'm hurt and won't be back. I want other's to know what Lori Fisk & her husband do while loving to portray their yacht. Buyer be wear. To me I've been scammed. It's taken me a while to finally put this on here and go to BBB. Thank you, Loretta Ruddle

I've been going to Toyos for several years and I'm not sure what has happened but their service and…read morecare has significantly decreased. My appt yesterday was at 4:30. I sat in the waiting room until 5:25 before being called back. The tech who was assigned to me was clearly very new to her role. She repeatedly did things backwards in addition to not providing any communication about what she was attempting to do. She lacked confidence which in turn caused me concern with the calculations/decisions she was making about my eyes. After fiddling with instruments and trying to use tools on me that she wasn't thoroughly trained on, she completed her portion in 20-25 min and told me the Dr would be in shortly. 20 min later, the Dr. Melissa Toyos came in and, within 5 min, started trying to sell me on cataract surgery. (I am at the beginning stages - not full blown cataracts.). Since I wouldn't agree to pupil dilation (due to having been there almost 2 hours by that point), she ushered me out to the eyeglass counter and told me to sit in the waiting room. When she walked by a few minutes later, I asked her if we were going to do a contact lens review/fitting because my contacts were still sitting in the exam room. She responded that she didn't know that. (We had discussed my wearing contacts while I was in the exam room - both with the technician and with the Dr.). Back in the exam room, she told me another person would come in to help with the contacts. After waiting 10 minutes, the young girl came in and asked me if I knew what my contacts prescription was. I told her that information should be in my record because I got the contacts from them. She said "it's ok. I can get it from the optical shop records." 15 min later I was still waiting on her to come back. At this point, I had been there 2 hours and 20 min and there was no one in sight when I walked out in the hallway. I returned to my exam room and as I put my old contacts back in, the Dr poked her head in asking if everything was ok. I told her "no, I'm still waiting on someone to bring me contacts. I cannot wait any longer. This is completely unacceptable. I am appalled at the experience I have just had." I collected my things and walked out. Toyos Clinic used to be good but those days are gone. I highly recommend you look elsewhere. There are plenty other doctors in the Memphis area that are more concerned about their patient experience (and respectful of your time.). Choosing a doctor is a choice and clearly Toyos Clinic is no longer the right choice for optical needs.

I have used GA for services for 5 years now, and appreciate their honesty and full disclosure about the side-effects and recovery time from every little procedure, from hair removal, to leg vein treatments, to laser work to remove red and brown spots from my skin. The team members are knowledgeable on the materials and chemicals they use, why they work, and why one may be superior to another. When I say "nobody should know I had this done but me", Katie, knows exactly what I mean. The office is friendly, set in an old Germantown home (once a wedding chapel), with warm and creaky hardwood floors, and look-at-me crown molding. A range of services and products (Obagi!) are available; see the website www.memphislaser.com for their competitive pricing and product information. The only reason I give it four stars and not five? One caveat: expect a wait time for your appointment. It is not uncommon, if you request a specific person, to wait up to a month to coordinate an appointment time that will suit both parties. You may wait a bit once you arrive, as well. 15-30 minutes is typical.

I was given a consultation on my skin which was followed by the signature Eden facial to address my own personal skin concerns. The entire experience was so relaxing from the cleansing to the extractions. But most importantly, my skin looked so bright, plump and hydrated when she finished. I can't wait for my next one in 4-6 weeks.
