Simply great service with a knowledgeable friendly staff. If they dont have what you want in stock they will gladly special order it for you. Like I stated before a better sneaker store does not exist in New England. Their prices beat any online price as well and when you combine that with outstanding service Sneakerama can not be beat in customer satisfaction. read more

Went to Sneakerama in Worcester MA the afternoon of Saturday, January 14, 2017. Was told by friends that they really catered to special needs and really know how to fit shoes properly. I was greeted at the door by Steve. He proclaimed 30 years of experience. He notices I supinate which was a good sign he knows his stuff. I do supinate. He recommended shoes while insisting I do not have very wide feet. I DO have super wide feet. Steve has a young sidekick he insisted should not wait on us. A very nice young man but Steve indicated his experience was necessary to fit me. Steve excused himself for a small task. He never returned and was seen working with another customer. So.......I was being shown shoes by an inexperienced person. Where was the great service? Gone!!!!! Tried on Saucony Triumph iso 3 in 10 2E. Too narrow. Wide feet dude!! Wide feet! Tried on same shoe iso 2, older model. Same size. They were wider. Soiled shoes, scuffed soles. $20.00 discount to $120.00. Moved to New Balance at my insistence. Remember the kid knows very little about shoes. Tried on NB 928 v2, they fit, but they did not have black. I did not want brown of white.. Still no Steve. Where is all this knowledgeable service. Told the young man no sale but offered $80.00 for the used Saucony Triumphs iso 2. Guess who had to be the decision maker: Steve!! He ignored us, did not serve us as promised and now he is offended at my offer. Oh no he says, these are already discounted. He immediately inferred I was looking for cheaper shoes. No Steve, I simply want a good price the same as I get anywhere there is NO SERVICE! This place offered no extra value, but he thinks I am the problem!? So.......no sale! Got home, went on to web, found the NB 928 v2 for less money in BLACK! Found the Saucony Triumph iso 2 for...........get ready, $76.22 delivered. Brand new too. This guy is a piece of work: rude, knows it all, and makes assumption on customers motives created by his lack of service. Will never go back!!!!!! read more

Very knowledgable and friendly salespeople. I told them what I needed and they found me a deal at the lower end of my price range.

I've been going to Sneakerama in all of its locations (I can recall 3 off the top of my head) since before I was born. My family been going here for years because of the wonderful customer service from the Genatosio (SP). Steve is proudly carrying on the tradition of Lou aka Mr. G and Rose. Come to sneakerama if you want great prices and great services. To quote Lou, "it's a beautiful shoe". read more

Really fantastic service here--I highly recommend them. They really evaluate you to ensure a proper fit and the right sneaker for your lifestyle. I used to buy sneakers off the clearance rack--no more! Their prices are very reasonable and they stand by their products. I've ordered sneakers several times (to get a color that's out of stock) and they always come in promptly. read more

This is the only place to buy sneakers if you want a show that truly fits you and your athletic or medical needs. The staff is amazing and they really know their stuff. I always feel confident when I walk in the door that I will have a great experience and buy the perfect sneaker! read more

I forgot my sneakers at home and I had to buy a pair because I was going hiking with my girlfriend. I normally buy them at the New Balance outlet in Brighton. Anyway I went in and looked around a little for some New Balance shoes because I have wide feet. I found a pair which were on sale. At that point a really sweet salesgirl came up to help me. I told her my size and she set out to find me a pair. I really enjoyed being waited upon for once. They were out of my size unfortunately but she immediately suggested another brand that is width sized as well. It was about $10 more than the other brand but were a better model. I appreciated that she didn't try to sell me a shoe which was $20 or $30 more. I wound up with a great pair of shoes and a really nice shopping experience. I heartily recommend these people. read more

great, patient, knowledgeable staff who will help you find the best shoe for whatever you need!

What a wonderful find! My daughter and I came in unsure of what type of running shoe we needed and left with two pairs of the best shoes just for us. Prices were very good. What sets this store apart is the terrific customer service! They made us feel welcome and took the time to understand what we needed. I am a huge fan and will be telling everyone to stop in, and plan on returning. read more

A true old school, family run business. Fair prices, large selection, and knowledgeable sales people. A dying breed among the big box stores, a hidden gem. If you want to go where they still care more about you than the sale, this is the place. I needed a specific shoe before going on vacation that was not in stock , they found away to get it to me with time to spare. Thanks for going the extra mike Sneakerama! read more

I can't tell you enough about this store who is doing not a very good job but a huge one to satisfy the client. You get what you pay for and it's exactly the case there. All and only the good running shoes are available for sale at a reasonable price for what you get. Thank you for your excellent job and long life to Sneakerama! read more

So knowledgeable. My daughter has had shin splints and he had her run / walk so he could see her gate. He then had her try on about 6 pairs to compare the feel. I'll never buy sneakers any other way. read more

Great place to get running shoes with very knowledgeable staff who will make sure you get the right shoe. Prices are unbeatable and below even big online stores. They also will price match if they don't get you the best price! I have been several times and have appreciated their warm service. This past time there was a mixup with the shoes that had been ordered for me but Steve, the owner, was very determined to make it right by getting the correct pair rushed to the store and also giving a courtesy discount. They also provide a UMass discount. Would consider it to be the best shoe store I've ever been to! read more

Great service! Steve and his staff are wonderful, they truly care about satisfying their customers. Special ordering and all! When it comes to shipping (not many people understand) shipments to a store from the manufacturer is out of the store/staffs control; as to when arrives from the warehouse manufacturer...but hey were only human right? Can't say enough great things about what Steve has going here and they simply are the best when it comes to accommodating their customers! 5 stars! read more

The service is phenomenal and the knowledge of the staff is impressive. A friend (workout junkie who replaces her sneakers annually or more) recommended I shop here for sneakers about 5 years ago. After my first visit, I was hooked. I just bought my third pair there in 5 years, and I will not shop anywhere else for sneakers as long as I live in MA. In addition to wanting to get you a proper fit in a sneaker you find comfortable, they also want to be sure the sneaker is appropriate for how you will be using it. They started by asking what activities I'd be doing in the sneakers and any foot issues I had, and then they pulled several varieties off the shelf and described the differences between them and why they might be the appropriate shoe for me. They really know their stuff (not just the marketing buzz). Additionally, they are incredibly patient. I'm the kind of person who needs to try something on 3 or 4 times before making a decision, and they really are not phased by that, since they want you to be comfortable and happy with your purchase. If you want someone to help you find your perfect sneaker, shop here. I cannot say enough about the customer service I've received each time I've been to the store. I highly recommend Sneakerama! read more

This was recommended by a friend who had great experience in the past. Brought my 92 year old mom for sneakers post foot surgery because Sneakerama was recommended for the way they fit shoes and assessed gait. A young sales person recommended a specific sneaker after measuring my mom for size and width. The sneakers were too small and they did not have the next size up so he brought the following size. They were too big and her heal was coming out of the back of the shoe. He didn't acknowledge that and stated several times they did not have a size smaller. I asked if they had anything else and he didn't reply but left us to wait on other customers. My husband who was also there saw that an older man who he assumed was a supervisor or owner direct our sales person to wait on the other customers. Needless to say, I was very disappointed at how dismissive they were having traveled 40 minutes to get to this place of business. We left after it was obvious no one was willing to help us. I would not recommend anyone going to this place of business if you are looking for any customer service. read more

They close at 6:20 PM not 6:30 PM on Fridays. Pulled up, lights were on, open sign was up and the employee refused to serve us. We had a very quick return but we were turned away. Also, don't shop here unless you're 80 and want to overpay. read more

Outstanding customer service, they work with you one on one, good prices with great selections. We only shop at Sneakerama!

100% recommend this place! All of the employees that I worked with were nice and enthusiastic about their job. The young girl that I worked with took her time to help me and truly listened. She sat down and helped me with my shoes and even taught me different ways to lace my shoes so they fit my foot better. The owner checked in to make sure all was well, and really seemed to care. Overall a great experience, and a knowledgeable one as well. Keep doing what you're doing! read more

I've been shopping at Sneakerama for about 15 years and am a satisfied customer. They take time to get you into the right shoe and they have no problem taking returns and since I need special insoles they have no problem letting me try out as many pairs as I need. Also. They gave a 30 day money back guarantee. Nice people. read more

I stopped into Sneakerama 2/15/17 to replace my worn-out sneakers. (I bought those sneakers about 1 1/2 yrs ago.) I have large problem feet and usually there isn't a great selection in my size. But yesterday Steve had several different styles and colors of shoes to show me. He spent significant time with me and I ended up buying 2 pairs. Both seem to be extraordinarily comfortable and supportive. He understands the mechanics of the foot and really cares about giving the customer the right fit. I really appreciated the time he spent with me and I will continue to be a loyal customer. I always feel great about giving local businesses my business and was delighted that i could give my business to Steve at Sneakerama! read more

As a cheap individual, and someone who likes to look good, I have historically bought sneakers based more on price and appearance than on comfort and compatibility. Recently I've had some knee problems and decided to bite the bullet and buy a legitimate pair of sneakers that might offer the support that I need. After hearing a great recommendation I headed down to sneakerama, and I will now never shop anywhere else. The staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the door, and were very attentive while I explained what I do for a workout and my problems with my knees. They had me walk with no shoes and and watched for any issues or abnormalities, and based on this and what I told them pulled out the PERFECT shoe for me. They gave me some other options to compare with, but their first recommendation hit the spot. The prices were reasonable and the staff seemed to really know what they were talking about. The best part for me is that they offer 10% off to Umass employees!! read more

The service is incredible here. I walked in with my mom and got assistance right away. The salesman measured my feet and watched how I walked and brought out about half a dozen pairs of shoes for me to try on. He was patient and attentive the whole time and even tied my shoes for me--you can't get much better than that. I eventually went with a pair of mezunos that are really amazing. If you're in the Worcester area and you need running shoes, come here. read more

Went in for a specific type of sneakers, and found last year's model marked down for an AMAZING price! They even gave me a discount for buying two pairs of shoes, and special ordered a pair for me that was out of stock. Fabulous customer service. I'll definitely be back when I need new running shoes! read more

I visited Sneakerama for the first time today after reading reviews on Yelp. The service was attentive without being overbearing. I was fitted properly and bought a great pair of gym shoes. I will become a regular customer and happily drive to Worcester from Hopkinton to do so! read more

Great, family owned store. Really impressed with their super attentive, yet not pressuring service. They are clearly really knowledgeable and eager to share their expertise to help you find the right fit for your needs (I have flat feet so needed a shoe with good arch-support). Wide selection of styles and prices. I'm not a runner, but have seen them on their "fun runs" and think its cool how they've built a community with their customers and "walk the walk" (pun intended ;)) with promoting being active. Always an enjoyable experience shopping here, and happy that the new bridge and lights make it even easier :) read more

I have been active all of my life but really started taking my fitness more seriously about a year ago. About a month ago, I decided it was time to finally invest in a good, professionally fit, pair of sneakers. I had heard great things about Sneakerama and decided to give them a shot. I was greeted with friendly service and ended up with a pair of Saucony Boston Freedoms. I was not a fan of the color combo, but they were the last pair left, I was desperate for new sneaks, and these felt great. Fast forward to last week when I was lacing up for the gym and the stitching pulled right out of the laces loop. I couldn't believe it! The first time I invested in these fancy sneakers and they fall apart in a month! I brought them in to Sneakerama a few days later, was immediately helped by Steve, and was hooked up with a new pair (in a better color... in my opinion :) in no time. These were a little more expensive but Steve price matched for me and I was on my way. Thanks for all of your help, Sneakerama! You have made a customer for life. read more

I came back here remembering how good the service was when I shopped here years ago. Allison was helpful in finding me 3 great pairs of shoes. Since I am traveling, I would only be able to buy one pair right now, I went to note the brands I had liked...instantly (I'm assuming) the owner was on me like a flash berating me for "wasting his clerks' time" accusing me of writing down stock numbers so I could purchase the shoes elsewhere. He didn't let me explain that I was from out of town, didn't seem to care that that the more he berated me, the less likely I was going to make a purchase. He went on and on, even after I was almost out the door. I felt insulted and angry the rest of the day. I had come in to the store to support small business and left feeling bad for the poor employees who work for this man. I would rather pay more money for shoes elsewhere than to be treated like this again. read more

Nice store but have been disappointed by the lack of stock in common sizes. Save yourself the time and shop elsewhere.

I can't begin to say enough great things about this store, and the owner Steve! I bought my latest pair of running shoes at the end of June. I had been wearing them for a while, and they just didn't seem to feel right. Even though it was past their "guarantee period", Steve listened to my concerns - and want to make things "right". He offered me a different pair of shoes in exchange for the ones I had been wearing. I really appreciate the time he took to work with me and listen to what I had to say. The store was super busy that day, but he still made time for me. Due to his great customer service, and superior products - he has gained a customer for life. I will continue to buy my running shoes and those of the rest of my family there because he really cares that you have the right shoe for you. Thank you Steve for taking care of me! read more

I have been buying sneakers at Sneakerama for over 20 years. Since I am an elderly women now I can, most certaily, vouch for the qualiity and most popular styles every time I have needed any and all brands of sneakers. Having three boys that liked to have the newest brand of sneakers and a big choice of styles I can attest to the fact that Sneakerama ALWAYS had something that pleased them. One store and I always was able to get something for all three boys, thus avoiding running from store to store. As I have become older I find that my needs for a well fitting, supportive sneaker is a must. The staff at and the service is outstanding. Every employee is well informed as to the needs of every customer. Sneakerama is not your ordinary shoe store. It is a high quality performing place to find the best fit and styles. As I was in the store today the owner waited on me and was extremely helpful in finding the right shoe for my needs. I was very impressed to see that he was working along with the staff and helping out with the customers. His kind, considerate manner to help me find the perfect sneaker was outstanding. I would like to thank all the people that work at Sneakerama for a job well done. To the owner of the store I say KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK-------I can see why the staff is so helpful and pleasant (thay have been taught through example by a boss that does not appear to expect anything from them that he would not do himself). read more

Yup, as good as it gets. I work out 6 days a week and have been struggling for months over bad fitting sneakers. A friend of mine suggested I go to Sneakerama. I was suspicious, but decided I had nothing to loose. First off, THEY ARE HAPPY FOR YOUR BUSINESS! Secondly, THEY HAVE A HUGE SELECTION OF SNEAKERS Third, THEIR RETURN POLICY IS UNBEATABLE. The first pair of sneakers I bought werent perfect, since they told me I should be 100% satisfied, I decided to return to see what they would say. I did not have my receipt, but when I walked into the store and told them my dilema, they took a look at the sole of the shoe (I only wear them in the gym), he said, don't worry--these are not used and we want you to be happy...so, I exchanged them for a different model and they are PERFECT. In this day and age of big chain stores, it is worth the few extra dollars to get the service, knowledge and appreciation from a small business. I will be a customer for life.....I HIGHLY recommend this store if you are an athlete and see the value in spending money on your feet--I DO! read more

STAY AWAY!!! Rude, disturbing, overpriced. 1st visit owner's daughter super rude and hostile when I spent over $200.00. She got angry when she incorrectly attempted to medically diagnos me. I explained my condition but she did not seem to understand. 2nd time owner rudely said they were closing, threw me out, but people were walking around picking through boxes. I called 30 minutes later to complain about how rudely I had been treated by the owner, they were still there. Employee was courteous BUT, Owner Steve, had FRIGHTENING, bizarre, emotional breakdown, screamed" I love my mother, she is 82 years old I am taking her to the movies later tonight." Then he hung up. It was unprofessional, deeply disturbing, awkward and confusing. His mother is healthy or she wouldn't be going to movies, but why yell your motherly love at customers? Not sure what's going on, never seen a "business man" scream at a customer about their mother love. Too Norman Bates for me! You can get all of their products elsewhere for LESS $$ and less abuse. SHOP ELSWHERE!!!!!!! read more
