Good chicken sandwich…read more I came through the drive-thru yesterday to grab a quick hot lunch. I've only had Popyeye's once before, at another location, and it was just 'ok'. This time the sandwich was hot, fresh and filling. I ordered fries too but I didn't need them. The sandwich was enough. The fries were ok. They were hot and fresh but limp. The potatoes had great flavor but would have liked them a tad more crispy. They have a wide variety of sauce choices which is great. I wish they had better descriptions for some of them though. The Grippos dry rub and the Cajun lemon pepper were great but the dirt bowl classic just had some sort of flavor that made everyone with us dislike them...maybe cinnamon but can't put my finger on it. Overall they are worth a try if you want variety. If you want just a classic hot buffalo wing there are better options.

I tried 5 Hot AF (obviously their hottest flavour) and hot honey bbq. The hot one's were definitely that as they definitely got my attention which as a guy that burned my tongue off long ago is not easy to do. The Hot Honey BBQ was delicious as well with the honey adding a nice sweetness to the great bbq sauce. The wings were a decent size and cooked perfectly. The restaurant looks cool with the graphics and everything inside the store but like I said before there's no inside dining here so we took it to a local park to eat. Definitely good wings and I'll be back for more as well as to try the sandwiches and other stuff I didn't try yet.

This sandwich combines thick sliced ham, turkey, with layers of mustard and raspberry jam on brioche bread. Fried with a very thin layer of batter that gives every bite a perfect, light crunch. (I omitted the dusting of powdered sugar--my A1C is angry with me so cutting sugars where unnecessary.) As always, the service lifts my spirit. Smiles abound! P.S.
