Then I ordered a plain cheeseburger with mayonnaise on the side. They sent out a cheeseburger with everything.... The cheeseburger was mediocre.... They had a big selection on the menu so next time I want to try their nachos. The fries that came with a burger were very different I've never had any that were like that they were real soggy. If I ever do get the fries again I will definitely have to get them well done.

My husband ordered a Beer, 5 Wings and a Bowl of Chili. I ordered a water, a Fish Sandwich and a side of Onion Rings. My husband said his food was "ok" and that the chili had a "really unique" flavor. I could smell it across the table and said, "That unique flavor is canned chili." It smelled exactly like the canned hot dog chili sauce I remembered from childhood. It tasted like it too. If it isn't completely from a can then most of it is and it's not good. The wings were cooked properly but not very meaty at all. The fish sandwich is just a frozen fish filet from a box/bag. The breading flavorless, the fish minced and the slight taste of freezer. The onion rings were basic frozen onion rings. Very overpriced for the low quality food that is served. Both booths we attempted to sit in were dirty with food crumbs and sticky tables. The service was ok. We're unlikely to return for the food.

They serve breakfast all day. It's usually busy whenever I go for dinner around 5 or 6pm but service is quick. It might be hard to navigate and find a seat because it's a small place. The string lines are cute. They have music playing and Pixar movies on the TV. My favorite is the Sweet Brunch Sandwich. I also really like their biscuits and sausage gravy. Their home fries have the perfect amount of crispiness. I've tried other things on the menu and it's all been decent. Their flavored iced coffee was not great, though. I mean it's a diner so it's not like... super fancy and I wouldn't exactly say it's worth going out of your way for. I gave a bonus star for the service :)

Today we finally caught our chance, and I'm so glad we did. The diner is small and bustling, with closely spaced tables and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. We grabbed a seat and were impressed by the expansive menu, but for our first visit we stuck with classic favorites: a cod fish sandwich and a single cheeseburger. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband is convinced the French fries were the best he's ever had--and that's saying something after 65+ years of fry-tasting experience. My Saratoga chips were crisp, light, and full of flavor. A great first experience, and definitely not our last visit.

If you like overly seasoned food you will not like this - but if you don't mind, salt, pepper and love then you will like this. I got the country fried steak with extra gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans - I wasn't a fan of the green beans - they were spicy and tasted canned. The mashed potatoes and the country fried steak however were delicious! I also like how they packaged everything seperatly so the gravy didn't make the meat soggy on the way home. All in all I would come back but I would like to eat inside next time.

Delicious fried chicken!…read more My husband and I both ordered the 4 Piece Dinner - breast, wing, leg and thigh. It also comes with two sides of choice and a roll. The fried chicken was delicious! We both thought it was prepared perfectly. The seasoning was flavorful, the skin slightly crispy and the chicken meat juicy. I chose the side salad and the jalapeño cheddar potatoes for my sides and my husband had the mashed potatoes and green beans. We both enjoyed the sides. My husband said the green beans were really good. I liked the jalapeño cheddar potatoes but found the bagged shredded cheese a bit unappealing. It didn't melt well, was greasy and then congealed while cooling. The potatoes with jalapeños were decent, though. It was a lot of food. We would probably split the chicken next time and order extra sides. The service was fine, the food was good and we'll return to check out more of menu.

Perfect excuse to go, right? And I have to say we both enjoyed it. The place itself isn't huge but was very clean. Their menu is bigger than I'd expected and features lots of different barbecue options from sandwiches, platters, meats by the pound and 1/2 pound, loaded baked potatoes, and lots more. They also do large orders and catering for big events. You order your food at the counter and the staff will bring it to your table when it's done. I ordered the Texas brisket with two sides, barbecue beans and cole slaw. My boss ordered a loaded baked potato with brisket on top. We also decided to try the wings (with Carolina barbecue and Texas hot barbecue sauces on the side) and a cheddar jalapeno sausage. We hardly waited long at all before everything was ready and really good. My brisket was really good but a touch dry in some spots. Nothing some Texas hot barbecue sauce couldn't help. The wings were so good that they didn't need sauce but it made them even better. My boss definitely liked his baked potato. Excellent place for a barbecue fix and one I could see going to again, of course, with my lady next time.
