I was craving a good salad, so I came here today to try this place out. First time, I got excited when I seen all the fresh vegetables options. I ended up ordering the grilled avocado salad and added grilled chicken. The First Lady to assist me was patient with me and helpful. The Second Lady tossing the salad and adding meat had a bad attitude and was rushing me. I checked my salad before I left because I didn't see her add the grilled avocado which is what I ordered and it wasn't there. There was not a rush so I couldn't understand why she was so angry, and forgot to add the key ingredients to my salad. The First Lady that has Great customer service helped me and added my grilled avocado and tomatoes to my salad. My salad was pretty tasty! I wish the service would have been better towards the end of my visit. Working in the service industry requires implementing great customer service. I hope she will do better with treating every customer like it's their first time. read more

Fast, quality, and good service. What more do you want out of a snappy salad? The create your own salad combo seems a little daunting at first (pick two of this, 8 of that, and 3 of these). Came by on a Thursday around 12:15pm or so. Line wasn't bad when we arrived but by the time we were halfway through it, it tripled in size! I got the custom chicken half with grilled avocado and it was plenty of food. There is a good amount of seating inside and outside. They keep the place pretty clean and our table was bussed as we finished which was perfect. Definitely worth adding to the rotation and I'd absolutely come here again for lunch! read more

I've ate here several times since it's convenient and close to my work. The food I've had has always been good. My favorite is the gogo steak wrap and the baja shrimp wrap. Let me start by saying, I love Snappy Salads. The Irving location off MacArthur is my favorite but since my job has moved downtown, the Harwood location has been the closest store to order from. Well, I'm pretty much over this place/location. I've noticed that ordering from this location that its a rarity that my order is ever entirely correct, but today took the cake. I order online via their website (not thru doordash, ubereats, etc,) at 11:51am, and the EXACT SAME THING, every time I order: a Texas Taco salad with extra meat and dressing (on the side) with sourdough bread and butter. It arrived at 12:09pm. I received the dressing and the bread but received NO MEAT...not the meat that came on the salad nor the extra meat I requested and paid for. I am beyond pissed. I call the store the minute I saw it, but they don't answer the phone until after 1pm. My lunch is over by this point. When the store finally does answer, they can't remake my order and send it out again bc they now have no drivers, they can however give me a refund but I have to call another number to get it. Called the number, and they offered a refund for the cost of the salad ONLY, until I protested, then they gave me a refund for the extra meat too. This location is going out sad. If they would take them and pay attention to what they doing, maybe there would be fewer mistakes. read more

Can you give a location a zero? This experience totally failed for a first impression. 1. Ordered Buffalo Chicken salad online for 12:20 lunch pickup. Arrived at 12:15 food not ready until 12:50. 2. Sooo many folks waiting on food no where to stand or move around while waiting. 3. They actually seem to have lost my order so I had to yell my order to them. Which they then made w/o the customizations I paid for online. Very disorganized and not professional AT ALL... 4. Love this place. Salad ingredients are fresh and plentiful. You can order a custom salad, one of the interesting salads on the menu, or customize a menu item. You can pick from one of many dressings and how heavy or light. The staff is pretty patient with people who don't understand what a light amount of dressing really is. Or order with the app and it's waiting when you arrive. The half salad is good sized, although it seems smaller when it gets jammed into the takeout container. I'd skip the wraps -- they're pre-prepared and can't be customized. By only negatives (besides the fact that it's not in my building) is that the lines are long at lunchtime and the sole dessert is a lemon cookie (eww). read more

Today was a perfect example of why this place is so maddening and why I haven't been back for several months. I ordered the "full snap yellowfin tuna". Order taker says, "full yellowfin... here or to go?" "To go," I reply. As i'm watching the gal cut up the tuna, I notice she's only cutting one piece of tuna (the full snap comes with 2). I mention it, and have to now wait for them to sear another piece of tuna. Delayed. They finish the tuna and hand me the salad and I notice there's only half an avocado (should be two). I start to speak up and realize the issue from the get-go is that they've been making me a half-snap the whole time. I'd been charged for a half-snap with full tuna, sp I paid accurately... it just wasn't what I wanted. I didn't even bother asking them to fix it. So after reading the reviews, I haven't had any issues like other reviewers. I find that my order is always made right (online & in person) and the line at lunch tends to move fairly quickly. However, this place needs some work. This is at the bottom of my office building, and although I've never been a big snappy salad customer before, this place couldn't get anymore convenient for me and was excited when they put it in. That being said, I will never visit this store or another snappy salads in the ever again. First off, the price. $17 for the full snap and $12 or $13 for the half snap is OUTRAGEOUS. That is with half meat, no extra veggies or avo or anything. Basic. What a freaking rip off. If you go to Salata and get the same size salads, it's half the price. I rather walk the several blocks and save $10. Second, quantity. The salads aren't that big for the price and they skimp on the meat and veggies. ‍ Lastly, the quality. Not that great. Doesn't ever really seem fresh and their dressings aren't great. read more

A healthier option for downtown. It's a fairly quick place if you are in a hurry. There are a few grab and go salads as well. My biggest complaints is the value for how much you pay. For $10-12 the lettuce to toppings ratio is a bit off. The small size is pretty big, but that is because of how much lettuce there is. I do order ahead and go in to pickup cause I'm usually in a hurry, and almost every salad except one has had something wrong. If I say dressing on the side, it's on the salad.
