This is the WORST automotive shop in Dallas!!! Do NOT, I repeat do NOT take even your tricycle to this location. I simply needed to have my battery changed. The onwer TONY is the most unpleasant and unprofessional individual I've ever encountered. Let's start with the price I was charged, $45 to check if the battery was good/bad (but I informed TONY it wasn't currently a good battery). I personally purchased a new battery and took it to the auto shop only to be charged an additional $75 just to install it. After the battery is installed, once driving I notice the lights on my door handle are flickering. The following day i returned to the shop, but Tony is unavailable. I come back a few days later, Tony is not available but asked me to return a 3rd time. I return a 3rd time only to have Tony "THE OWNER" push a few buttons and informed me the window was broken upon the initial visit and it was not his problem. After unprofessionally yelling in my face about what his liabilities were pertaining to my vehicle. He told me to come back a 4th time so he could run some "test". I declined as he has already wasted enough of my time and money, but more than anything I hate bad business especially BLACK BAD BUSINESSES!! I had the same experience as Jerico T. I was told that my car couldn't pass inspection without a repair approaching $1000 in cost. However, when the repair was completed, the "check engine" light was still on, and when I asked Tony if he might re-examine the repair for possible installation issues, he claimed that his repair was not the same repair that would help me pass inspection (Meaning, I would need to do even further repairs, though I had let him know upfront that I had a very limited budget). I later learned from a dealership that this repair was not even an urgent issue. When I studied my bill, I found shop and other extraneous fees, the kind of costs other shops will scale back on to help out their customers. Tony is the best mechanic DFW. He is the only honest mechanic you will ever meet. He tells you exactly what service, if any, you need. Multiple times I have inquired if things need to be done and most mechanics would just say "yes" and take your money. Tony does not do this. He gives you exactly what you need and what you don't at a great price. If there were more people in this world like Tony, the world would be a much better place. Very pricey, they tried to charge me FIVE HUNDRED for brakes, FIFTY for a Brake Light and TWO HUNDRED for a Tire when I failed inspection, rather when they went straight to the point, they just told me how it's not gonna pass and how much of a junk car I have. I suggest to go somewhere else where you can build good relationships with a mechanic where they'll pass you easily for inspection, cause this one isn't worth your time. read more

My car needed an inspection and I took it to Snappee. They said it did not pass and that I needed to drive the car around as it just had some work on the engine done at another shop. Drove car around and took it back but check engine light came on. They said they would investigate. When they called and told me they found the problem that said they had fixed it and I owed them $665 for repairs ($147 for the part and over $500 in mechanic's fees!). I told them I did not authorize such repairs and the response was this: "if you want the car, you will pay $665." So, with no choice, went to pay $665. When I looked down at my credit card receipt, they had added an additional $31 for using a credit card. These guys are conmen trying to pass themselves off as Christians with Christian phrases and Christian music playing in the shop. Avoid this place. I will never be back. read more

The good people here will take care you and your car. I came in looking for a second opinion on the repairs needed to pass a state inspection and get the check engine light off. Tony was quick to diagnose and come up with a solution to get the car fixed and the inspection passed that day. They gave a fair estimate and were honest with the repairs that were actually needed to fix the car (unlike the other place I went to). I would highly recommend Snappee to anyone (and already have). I'll definitely be here again even if it's for something as simple as an oil change. It's the people working here and their skills that make it such a great place. read more

They always fix everything that needs to be fixed, never overcharge, never push to have things fixed that are unnecessary, tell what prices are going to be up front (and again, never overcharge) and have amazing customer service in general. I too moved with Paul over from Precision to Snappee and LOVE that man! I have worked with him for years and he has always gone above and beyond to take excellent care of me. I've sent him many loyal customers over the years and obviously highly recommend him and his work. He won't rip you off and tell you a million other things are wrong and need repairing if/when they really don't.
