Hot tofu pudding with black sesame paste and ginger syrup

Cutest decor inside with a menu full of classic HK desserts. Wanted something warm so got the hot tofu pudding with black sesame paste and ginger syrup - hits the spot, not too sweet! Don't forget about their stamp card.

Cute snack shop that gives retro Hong Kong vibes. Service was quick and getting seated was easy. Decided to visit this shop after frequenting their stall at Richmond Night Market for a couple consecutive years. I always love ordering their tofu pudding with ginger sauce that just warms your tummy on cold nights. We ordered two tofu puddings, one had half sesame paste, one peanut sticky balls, hot soy milk and Hong Kong style milk tea. I like how their menu reads, especially that it notifies what items will take longer to make. I'd definitely recommend and will be back.

Looks like they've now opened a new location inside Continental Plaza. This place is on the N side of the "island". Parking is plentiful in the strip mall lot. The interior looks pretty busy. Plenty of old school signage, as a homage to old Hong Kong. Staff are friendly and helpful. No complaints. The mango smoothie I had was pretty solid. I imagine the desserts are as good as their other locations. Great place for chilling with friends. Recommended.

A charming vintage-style Hong Kong dessert spot! I tried the mango coconut jelly grass jelly dessert -- it was tasty and refreshing, with a nice balance of sweetness and texture. The portion is just right for one person, perfect if you're craving something light after a meal. The shop has a nostalgic Hong Kong vibe with its vintage décor, which makes it feel cozy and authentic. A lovely place to stop by for a sweet treat and a bit of old-school charm

The 9 course platter was great! I'm a visitor in Canada and must say tourists should try it. Won't be disappointed.

The teapots were, as is industry standard, a little flimsy, but with enough care they worked well and i had warm tea throughout the meal. I had time to appreciate the freshly painted furniture, the cozy hanging lighting, and the cleanliness of both the table, silverware, and washrooms. The paintings were very nice! The kind of facilities you'd come to expect walking in. The service was excellent, our server was cheerful and kind. While I didn't have silverware intitially, I was still in a yolking mood, it didn't bother me in the slightest, The tables were preset, so really, it isn't a fault of theirs. Our server was attentive and careful, and we felt welcome. It felt easy to come out of my shell. The food was incredible, and made my morning. I ended up finishing my friends' plates! We all got benedict, the avocado, shrimp, and duck. Having tried them all, i would most recommend the duck. It was incredibly tender and the sauce worked well with the holliandaise. The shrimp was delicious, the fish paste took well, though the shrimp were a bit chewy and difficult to cut. I had been craving an eggs benedict, so i came to the professionals. Despite their reputation, they still exceeded my eggspectations! Five Stars.

This place has been around for many years but I've only now gotten around to trying it…read more It's a cute little place. The walls are decorated with pictures from Europe and the teacups are very "British." Besides scone and tea, you can get regular food here as well such as fries, salt & pepper chicken, and radish cake to name just a few. You can also get cold drinks like juice & bubble tea, and bubble tea drinks here too. So...not your typical British style Afternoon Tea joint. Kind of half restaurant, half tea place. My friend had a pot of Leisure Fresh Fruit tea and a scone. We'd already had lunch a bit earlier and while my friend had room for a scone, I had zero room in my stomach for any food so I just had a pot of Longan Red Date tea. It was a cold day so a pot of hot tea really hit the spot. I thought it a bit pricy at first, but when the tea came, I saw that the teabags were Fortnum & Mason teabags. That is a very a prestigious company from all the way over in England. When I realized we were drinking Fortnum & Mason tea, all of a sudden $10.25 didn't seem so extravagant any more. My friend said her scone seemed like more of a biscuit than a scone. It came with butter and jam. I think she wished there had been some clotted cream to go with it. I can't say too much about the food as I only had one pot of tea but I was impressed that it was Fortnum & Mason tea, and I very much enjoyed the flavor of the Longan & Red Dates in my tea.
