I apologize if the nihari and kahari pictures are mislabeled, the kid who was helping us didn't…read moreknow which was which. I think I got it right, but I'm not certain! Both were delicious (everything was kind of swimming in grease though, I didn't love that). We asked for recommendations, and everything the owner recommended was great (he recommended the peri peri grilled chicken, which was our favorite, and the Lahori fried fish soups). Mango lassis were also good. The rooh-afza tasted like liquefied red hots, so if you like those you'll love this! (I don't like red hots so I didn't). The falafel wasn't great, but we ordered it for my grandma so she'd get something that was completely mild (no heat to it) and that and the hummus and plain rice/naan were the only things that fit the bill for her, so it definitely did its job. We won't be coming back because it's waaaaay too expensive for what you get, but we enjoyed the experience well enough. (Edit to add after reading previous reviews: the kid who was serving us didn't know what to do when we asked for glasses of water as well, so it sounds like that's a common thing here. There really wasn't any kind of service beyond just bringing us our food when it was ready, which we didn't mind but other people might.) Edit again: I'm taking another star off because I found a hair that doesn't belong to anyone in our household in the leftovers, which is grossing me out enough to throw them away.

It's a Black-owned ice cream spot on Easton Road in Glenside. I didn't even realize it's been there…read morefor three years. It's on a metered street, but there's a small parking lot a couple doors down, which helps. The space is nice, and Leslie (one of the owners) was super friendly and engaging. I got a pralines and cream/vanilla sundae really good, but $12 caught me off guard. Next time I'd skip the hot topping since it melted the ice cream too fast. The milkshakes (mint chocolate chip and cookies & cream/cookie dough) were really good. They also have pretzels, pretzel pizza, cookies, and plan to add more items. They have outdoor seating and even pop out to block parties and events with popcorn machines, water ice and other items which is a nice touch. They also offer churro fries which I can't wait to try the next time. I believe they may have funnel cake fries, or something like that and ice cream sandwiches gelati. You can also get them on DoorDash and Uber eats although I don't know how you would get ice cream DoorDash and Uber eats, but I guess they haven't figured out. Overall, we enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Today the 4th of April I went back to try their water ice. I got the passion fruit mango. It cost me $7. I thought that was pretty high. I don't know what the going rate in the area is, but I will say this, I don't like Ritas anymore. Their water ice no soon as you get it, It melts. CJs water ice held up. It just melted just a little. It had great flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I also ordered the funnel cake fries. They were so delicious and the cashier Brooklyn assisted me she was so polite and nice.

Ones that also sell ice cream? Leaving the liquor store across the street I believe I met the owner and he was supper nice! He guided me to his establishment that I didn't even know existed but now I'm glad that I do! They have sweets, soft pretzels and frosty treats. I loved that they had passion fruit water ice and a pizza pretzel. The place is super cute and the person who was ringing up was so friendly. Love this for Glenside and love this for I'm guessing CJ? Thanks for bringing this place to the area!

The first thing I noticed was the disarray and lack of cleanliness in the store - frankly, it's a mess....which made me think twice about getting ice cream there. Nonetheless, I got a scoop of coffee. It was very tasty - I pretty much eat Haagen Dazs exclusively for both its taste and price. I can usually get a pint at Walmart for between $3-$4. This coffee ice cream had a little different coffee taste than Haagen - which I liked. However, it didn't seem as creamy, which was fine. My partner got the chocolate, which she said was average. One scoop was a little over $5, which is about average these days for your stand alone ice cream shops. While I was satisfied with the taste of my cone, I probably won't go back until they 'clean up' the store.

The prices are a little expensive Their street parking the store is very small so not too many people can be inside at one time.
