In the glass cases at the front, you'll find cakes and frozen chocolate covered bananas they have for sale. They also have a standalone freezer with quarts of ice cream. Service was a little slow. There appeared to be just two staff members and it was busy. The flavors weren't displayed anywhere on the wall, so we had to wait until we got closer to the glass cases to see what was available. I ordered two scoops of Salted Caramel Pretzel. It was delicious, but didn't taste like it had any pretzel pieces in it. For two milkshakes and a regular size ice cream, it was just under $20. Their sign indicates they only take cash or Venmo payments, but we were able to pay with a credit card.

Nonetheless, I got a scoop of coffee. It was very tasty - I pretty much eat Haagen Dazs exclusively for both its taste and price. I can usually get a pint at Walmart for between $3-$4. This coffee ice cream had a little different coffee taste than Haagen - which I liked. However, it didn't seem as creamy, which was fine. My partner got the chocolate, which she said was average. One scoop was a little over $5, which is about average these days for your stand alone ice cream shops. While I was satisfied with the taste of my cone, I probably won't go back until they 'clean up' the store.

The prices are a little expensive Their street parking the store is very small so not too many people can be inside at one time. Typically, I never really liked the lighter texture, as I've had all different kinds. My favorite is a plain cheesecake with a sour cream frosting. However, the taste of this cheesecake was superb - it was rich and flavorful - not too sweet. The deliciousness of the cheesecake compensated for its lighter texture. We went there this morning to pick up a raisin challah - we were making French Toast! The challah is excellent - rich, soft and sweet, it has a tender, delicious taste. The raisins added an extra touch of sweetness to the French Toast. Then there are the numerous pastries and cookies. We decided to get a few Hamentashen (chocolate and poppy), a raspberry croissant, a chocolate and a raspberry rugelach, and the most amazing looking Sticky Bun. I'll start with the Sticky Bun. It was exceptional; a soft, fluffy, and slightly chewy dough - challah like, but denser. It was laced with a sticky, caramelized glaze, studded with raisins and walnuts. It was 'melt in your mouth delicious', and a must try. Next up - the raspberry croissant. This is not your typical croissant - I'm used to the plain, or chocolate - I can't recall having a raspberry croissant before. It's one of the best I've had. It combines a flaky buttery croissant with a sweet, tart raspberry filling. The Hamentashen were good - the chocolate was better than the poppyseed - as the later needed much more Mohn (poppyseed paste). The rugelach was good; the raspberry was too sticky, but the chocolate was fine. If you're near Elkins Park, and you haven't tried Rolings Bakery, it's time you did!
