We were having trouble with the kiosk and still could not order at the counter. An employee tried to help us but couldn't figure out the kiosk either. We were simply trying to order a Double Cheeseburger Meal, but the kiosk would only let us order the sandwich by itself. The women's restroom was also disgusting. The toilets were clogged, the paper towel dispenser was empty, and paper towels and trash were all over the floor. The overall condition made it look like the restroom had not been properly cleaned or restocked in days. The final straw was watching our food being prepared. From the counter, I could clearly see an employee handling our burgers, cheese, pickles, and other ingredients with bare hands. I looked around and noticed other employees handling food, including fries, without gloves as well. After seeing our food being handled that way, I immediately asked for a refund and we left. Thankfully, there was a Whataburger down the road. The difference in our experience was night and day. The employees handling our food were wearing gloves, the customer service was excellent, and we actually felt comfortable eating the food we were served. Between the forced kiosk ordering with no real assistance, the filthy restroom, and what we personally observed while our food was being prepared, we will absolutely not return to this location. Management and ownership need to take a serious look at how this restaurant is being operated.
