Which means, if you have come to this place, you were dragged (kicking and screaming) by your (max 10 yo) kid. They specialize in birthday parties (my daughter did celebrate 2 of hers here) and family nights, though every day offers a different type of discount. I would categorize it as a hybrid between a 80s arcade establishment and an all-you-can eat pizza joint. The arcade location is not really as big as you woukd expect it to be. It is a money pit and a parent's nightmare. With overexcited kids constantly begging for "more coins". The pizza is quite uneventful. But, when you are having a birthday party, you are allowed some perks (such as ordering a personalized pizza.. put of their list). I rather enjoy their sweet pizzas, not a huge fan of their salty options. They do offer a sald bar but i never can quite find fresh ibgredients to my liking so i usually skip it all together.

It's home cooked food, calories-not-monitored, but worth every single bite. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but I knew it was going to be good when we saw the parking lot was overflowing into the grass. Luckily there was still an open table inside and we were welcomed by the sweetest staff and our waitress was just as wonderful. So many things looked good on the menu, but I couldn't resist ending this road trip with another taste of chicken fried steak to compare to Mary's (and they can definitely compete because it was AWESOME)! We also tried the chicken fried chicken (delicious), sweet potato casserole (amazing), Mae's potato casserole (tasty), cheese sticks (good), and the hamburger and fries which was obviously delicious enough that my picky daughter almost finished it - which says a LOT! We were very glad that we'd ordered the "smaller portions" for lunch because it meant we could grab a few of the desserts to go to snack on for our final leg of the road trip and keep enjoying at home. We tried the toffee cake (incredible), peanut butter cake (sinfully good), and the coconut pie (very light and creamy)! We also snagged some items to take home with us from their coolers and I can 100% recommend their pork tamales and summer sausage. If you get the chance to stop here, you won't regret it at all! Delicious, great service, and good portions!

We have tried several different burgers, the chicken fried steak, and the tacos. All have been just wonderful. Tonight, I had the steak fingers with grilled vegetables and steamed broccoli. The steak fingers were absolutely huge, and the grilled vegetables and steamed broccoli were just fantastic. Nothing is better than a steak finger dipped in a big old bowl of white homemade gravy! I was only able to eat half, so there was definitely leftovers. And since I was so full, that means dessert had to be to go. Most places now charge seven or eight dollars for a piece of cake. Here, you can still get a piece of cake for four dollars! Heck of a deal! If you're ever in Eastland Texas, I definitely recommend you give this place a try.

Being our first visit, we tried to sampler so that we could experience 3 of the apps at once. The calamari, mozzarella sticks and "toasted" ravioli all seemed to be fried in the same batter, and the same oil. I would question the quality of the items even before frying.... and the frying didn't help their cause. I ate one bland, not-so-fresh tasting calamari ring, one bite of a mozzarella stick and one bite of the ravioli. The rest of the appetizer went home to the dog. I mean, this place is dated, and this I knew before eating. Which is fine--I think many of us have a need to experience the nostalgia of the Italian restaurants of yesteryear. Rubber grapes hanging from the ceilings, painted images of Italy on the wall. Unchanged from when I was a teenager in Western NY and we would go out for Italian; the decor and menu seem to be the same. But the quality of ingredients needs to be current. We have come to expect better! A lot of Italian places are doing more creative things, with better calamari. Appetizers such as burrata and carpaccio are present on modern Italian menu's. If you are going to stick with the old stuff, it needs to be GREAT. Okay, enough of the negativity. The Chicken Florentine ordered by my companion was very good. The sauce was nice, flavorful, and not too heavy (although perhaps too generous but that's going back to the dated thing). I have a sampler of stuffed pastas, and the red sauce was very much to my liking. A touch of sweet, not too acidic, just the way I like sauce to be. They have a decent wine selection. I didn't try the desserts. I'm quite a cannoli purist...and I hate to be disappointed, so I didn't risk it. Overall--we'll be back. We'll be back for the friendly and consistent service, the generally good food (skip the fried stuff), and the kitschy ambience.

I got a house salad with my plate, but didn't care for it. It was basically a bowl full of lettuce (2 small cubes of tomato and 2 slivers of purple onion). Would love to come back and try another dish. The restaurant was clean (a little dark) and so were the restrooms.
