How can i go about reviewing this establishment? No adult would voluntarily set foot in here. Which means, if you have come to this place, you were dragged (kicking and screaming) by your (max 10 yo) kid. They specialize in birthday parties (my daughter did celebrate 2 of hers here) and family nights, though every day offers a different type of discount. I would categorize it as a hybrid between a 80s arcade establishment and an all-you-can eat pizza joint. The arcade location is not really as big as you woukd expect it to be. It is a money pit and a parent's nightmare. With overexcited kids constantly begging for "more coins". The pizza is quite uneventful. But, when you are having a birthday party, you are allowed some perks (such as ordering a personalized pizza.. put of their list). I rather enjoy their sweet pizzas, not a huge fan of their salty options. They do offer a sald bar but i never can quite find fresh ibgredients to my liking so i usually skip it all together. read more

Manager was Disrespectful, when we say we won a prize in A Prize machine and he says it didn't cut the wire, it still counts as a win even if the claw is hooked around the string and pulling on it. And we didn't need to have a disrespectful man giving us Smartass remarks and saying we can't have it and no refunds bc it's just a game. read more

There was roaches in the food and in my drink and it was dirty in there so that's why it's a 1 star

We came in because the Mr Gattis in our town closed several years ago but we were highly disappointed. The cups and plates we received were dirty and greasy like the items weren't washed correctly. The pizza on the buffet was old, there wasn't any napkins and the over all place looked run down. read more

I was nostalgic for some Mr. Gatti's thinking back to the days of golden crust, piping hot pizza with fresh beef. Well, the pizza was ordered to go and when I got a chance to eat I was satisfied, but not thrilled and it did not pass my leftover pizza for breakfast test. The interior of the establishment could use a bit updating since it is one of few big pizza places in the Abilene area and can draw more kids to their arcade games. Decent party space rooms and good security for kids. The employees were very friendly even though I came through 30 minutes before closing. Kudos. read more

The GM and staff were so friendly and accommodating. I brought my 18-year-old son in to celebrate his 18th birthday small family event. We wanted a private room. They gave us a nice big room ,kept checking on us ,came and sang happy birthday to him ,really did a great job, food was fresh and the owner/GM definitely A+ service. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. We came at 1pm on a Saturday and there weren't any plates, bowls or FOOD ON THE BAR. We were given paper plates...What the heck. Horrible experience. We normally wouldn't go to a place like this, but it was to celebrate my 4 year old nephew. Will not be returning. read more

Good food, friendly service. A fun atmosphere and enjoyable place to eat and enjoy games

I really LOVE Gatti's Pizza but the last 3 To-Go orders have been wrong! I even mentioned it on the phone this time and asked her to make sure that the pizza was correct. They brought out the wrong Pizza again! I asked for the manager and she remade the pizza and gave us a coupon for a free pizza. All I want is the order to be correct for my grand daughter! read more

This poor place has gone downhill so bad. The food was terrible. Weird tasting cheese on the pizza. Cinnamon rolls that used to be good were way over cooked. The game room was pitiful! The game cards wouldn't work because they were dirty and the games and rides were filthy where you insert the cards. The young man and young lady working the game room made you feel like you were interrupting their date night if you had to ask them for assistance. They were cuddled up in the corner several times. Overall a huge waste of money and time. Such a disappointment. read more

This place was terrible. It took someone 10 minutes to greet us and the pizza was cold. Before I was even done with my second slice my stomach was hurting so badly. Would not recommend! read more

My husband called in for a carry-out. We pulled into the drive-thru and noticed the room they normally bring your order thru was filled with junk. Hmmm. Pull around and walked in to the front door just as guy was bringing the order to the front. Nothing was said about the non-drive-thru situation. Back home, I tried one slice of the Canadian bacon, pepperoni, and onion. Cold, unappealing, with a bland crust. Tried a slice of the pepperoni and burger. Same story. My solution: Kashi Autumn wheat with cinnamon cereal, which I added raisins to, was quite satisfying. So, Mr Gatti's goes on the list of "Never again! ". read more

I know you all been waiting on this, I went to the office around 11 am, get the computer set up, and ready to start producing RIGHT... Nope my Broker said lets go to Gatti's Pizza for lunch. An all you can eat pizza buffet I think I made three trips up and counter. Was given tokens for the games in the back, played a few, overall very good time filling. Just TOO MANY LITTLE KIDS EVERYWERE!!!!! read more

Its supposed to be a pizza restaurant, but unfortunately, there's no food. They put about 4 pizzas out at a time and only 1 pepperoni. Most of the pizza pans are empty because it disappears quickly. This is a pizza place made for kids, but they will not put but a random pepperoni out on the buffet. Really? Do they not know what most kids favorite pizza is! Come on, this is not a buffet when you have to place an order. read more

Mr Gatti's Pizza - This is a poor excuse for a pizza buffet for kids, and a restaurant that has a current occupancy of over 100 customers. - Pizza Near Me - Abilene, Texas

Cinnamon rolls were raw, and the pan they were in was halfway full with icing from the previous batches. The pizza trays were not washed when a new pizza was made. The plates were dirty and the cups were still wet and stunk! read more

After reading all the negative reviews regarding Gatti's Pizza I decided to have my kids birthday party get together at another pizza establishment. In a few months my squadron wanted to have a crazy pizza bash and I was thinking about Mr. Gatti's but reading the reviews have truly made me start looking elsewhere for a party of 150. Sad to see how the quality of Mr. Gatti's have taken a huge step backward in food quality, lack of professionalism and cleanliness. The establishment of the reviews is incredible horrific! Almost impossible to find plausible...plates not dry or hardware not in place, pizza not ready to be served, that is a terrible way of trying to satisfy one's customers. read more

We took the kids and went to Gatti's for a fun family night out. The buffet was a tad pricey for the quantity and quality of pizza they had out. The pasta area was filled and plenty of dessert if that's what you was after but our kids wanted PIZZA. After asking several times for additional pizzas our kids were finally full enough. The pizza is just what I expect at a buffet, a 3 out of 10. All I can say is it filled the kids up. We then headed to the arcade area. The games are fun and made for a fun family night!! read more

This is the second time within a month we have been there and they had no clean plates or silverware. Yesterday a girl behind the serving counter was eating an ice cream cone and handling the plates and silver when they finally put some out. A man behind the salad bar scraped fallen pieces of salad choices off the table into his hands and put them back in the bowls. Where is management? The pizza is not as good now either. read more

I lovebgoing to gattis it always a lot of fun, but the food is never very good. The only thing I ever end up eating they is the pudding...

I used to like Mr. Gattis pizza. The pizza used to be good and the games were fun. Though, I recently went and the pizza tasted different. I felt it was due to possibly the cheese but it had to do with the ingredients for certain. I tried different types of pizza but probably ate a total of 1 1/2 slices. They all had a different/off taste. I mainly ate salad because the pizza didn't taste good. Whatever change Mr. Gattis made, it wasn't a good one. read more

My card was double charged. The food was prepared by a guy who was cleaning and handle the food. I had to clean my own table to sit. they wipe food onto the seats and walk away. He said he would not give a refund, I told him its a credit card put it back on the card, need to see my bank statement ..?? I show him the print out of the card statement.. need to see the bank statement. Worst person in management yet. Will not go back.. Booked a party and had to pay for 25 children even though we only had 12 (including our birthday child) show up. If I under book then I get stuck in a tiny room. The excuse I got was that they have a new online system and it was listed when I booked that payment would be due for all the reserved seats at the time of the party. Parents likely understand that you do not know how many children are going to show up. To make up for it they gave me 25 children worth of tokens, but there was no way too make up for all the buffets I had to cover, especially since I'm on a limited income and the holidays are coming. I'm disappointed that Mr. Gatti's has just become another Chuck-E-Cheese, instead of a reasonably priced good place to have a birthday. We won't be back. read more

We haven't been in a few years so we decided to take the kids. BIG MISTAKE! Got there about 5:30, the place was packed. Went to pay for our buffets, WOW $10.50 FOR A BUFFET AND A DRINK! OUCH!!! Found a table and went to fill my plate. No pizza!!! Waited a few minutes and went back, found a few pizzas. Got 2 slices, some pasta and a salad. No forks to be found anywhere. I went back to the cashier and asked if I could get a fork, she told me to go ask the kitchen staff. Went back to the buffet, finally found an employee and asked for a fork. He pointed to the empty flatware holder and said they are over there. No they aren't, it's empty! He went to the back and brought out some forks. Sat down and ate my food. It was decent enough. I went back to get more pizza and it was empty again! At this point I was thoroughly ticked off so I decided to just get some dessert. Guess what? Hardly anything in the dessert pans and what was there looked pitiful. So much for my $10.50 dinner! Went to the game room and got another shock. A FEW .25 games, a FEW $1 games and the rest were $1.25 and up! This place is a rip-off, NEVER AGAIN! read more

We got it for take out and went through the drive through on Tuesday 12-4-18 and we ordered 2 pizzas and one cheese stick and an big order of ranch. There was another car in front of us and i bet they are the ones that got my supreme! My pregnant daughter was dropped off at her house with a sausage pizza and the time i got home was 30 min later around 8. I opened my box and saw canadian bacon (cant stand that type) not my supreme! I called and the girl was so confused kept trying to take my order about 2 times and it was the SAME one that came out to my car (with dogs) and gave me the food. I tipped her, wrong thing to do. She kept putting me on hold so i hopped in my car and went to there and she told me to go inside the front. WEll i used the drive throuhg because i was in pj pants and houseshoes. I told her no, she could come out front then she got an attitude and said i guess and i said oh you will since yall messed up. SHe came out to the front and TOOK my pizza back INTO Gattis after it's been having dogs sit on the lid and inside my house. I figured that was a health code and took my reciept. She came back out with a card for a free pizza and i thought ok they are making my pizza and she said this is for the next time. I said ok, so where is a pizza for my dinner and she oh no not tonight. It was 8:20 and they didn't close till 9. I said you have got to be kidding and she goes well you can have a coke too? I said i want all of my money back and get a manager out here and she goes oh no they won't come out to the car. I said again GET A MANAGER OUT! she went back inside and i sat out longer in front of the place getting more and more angry. Manager comes out holding a pizza and i said is that mine and she goes yes! DIdn't you get a free card too. I told her that her employee wasn't going to give me a pizza just took the one from my car which wasn't healthy and told me i had a free one for the next time at least and i could have a drink. SHe said she told her to ask me for a drink while waiting. That girl kept listening which she should have gone back inside. I hope she got fired but i think she's related. DON"T GO!!!! bottom line. I sent an email to their manager and nothing. read more

Very disappointing experience, took my grandbaby to this place and was charges for extra kid. Pay attention to your receipt here they will toss in extra charges. Pizza was room temp, place is ran by a bunch of high school kids which isn't necessary a bad thing until you notice there isn't a manager in sight. Noticed while waiting in line for 10+ minutes for the young lady to stop taking call in orders and actually tend to the people she has in line there were 4 workers doing nothing as this poor girl was taking on phone calls and a disgruntled line. Manager is definitely in need of some coaching on how to manage read more

There's never any fresh pizza on the buffet. THe last few times we've gone, it's just been for the salad bar and to play some games. It's a huge place if you have a large group or want to have a birthday party. We always like to hang out in the movie room, it keeps the kids entertained. I believe they have a sports room as well so you can watch sports. If you ever pull into the parking lot and there's a school bus, TURN AROUND. You will not get ANY fresh pizza and small children will just run into you without paying any kind of attention. As far as the game room, it is a little pricey to play games and enjoy it. You can go to another family friendly place in town and play the same game for just one token. Not very many good prizes to choose from and the young teenagers behind the counter are pushy for your kids to pick a toy and move on. This place has really gone down hill in the last ten years. Sad. read more

Gets 2 stars because at least I rarely go home hungry and the desserts aren't bad. The cardboard circles are slow to come out, the "salad bar" is usually a mess of dressings that seem to be applied to the plates from across the room, and the soda machines are always either broken down(slushees) or a mess that competes with the salad bar. Once you find a table, you have a choice of sitting in the center dining area, which you can't get a kid to agree to, or you can pick one of the television rooms. The cartoon room plays mostly the Cartoon Network or Disney, so you can't really blame the establishment for the horrible content, but the screen/projector combinations are in bad shape for both rooms. The good news is they apply what can only be the same resin that baseball players use to the tables so your plates doesn't go sliding off. Unfortunately, it also peels off layers of skin and rips the napkins, i.e. the tables are always sticky. Sorry, but you are eventually going to have to use the restroom. These are regularly cleaned once a month, cross your fingers that they put in paper towels. Sometimes they'll even clean off the counter so you don't get your shirt wet when you try to wash your hands. The game room is ridiculous. Loud, broken down, smelly, etc. The prizes are brought in from only the highest quality dollar stores. We adults did look forward to coming here once upon a time. That was many moons ago. read more

I go here because I have kids. Ok.....now that THAT is out of the way, on to my review. The pizza, you would think, would be good.....after all, PIZZA is part of their name....but no. It's dry, tough to bite and chew and tastes like one of those 99 cent frozen pizzas you buy at the grocery store. They have a pizza bar full of empty. Maybe 2 or 3 pizzas to choose from. What kind of buffet is that? However, you CAN have a pizza ordered to your specifications. And the salad and pasta portion of the bar is stocked, but isn't good. I tried this pasta thing last time we were here and burped up garlic the rest of the day. They did something bad to their cookies too. They used to be gooey chewy and good....now they are hard, stale and taste like old box shavings. Now....As for the "movie" room......they have 3 separate screens to watch in there, a big movie screen and 2 small tv's...but you can only hear what is playing on the big movie screen. This wouldn't be a problem except for what is playing on the big screen usually sucks. They don't play movies anymore, they have it set to a kids TV channel, and that channel rarely plays a cartoon. It's those annoying teenie-bopper tween-type shows. Spongebob is usually on one of the little tv's and I'd rather have that on the big screen than those other shows. But really, they need to get that hole fixed on that screen too. It's had a rip in it for years. With what we spend in tokens alone, surely they make enough money to buy a new one. Speaking of tokens....lets move to the game room now. It's confusing when every game requires a different amount of tokens to play. And they want 12 tokens for the bouncy house!!!!! Really??? 3.00 to bounce down a slide a couple of times? My son bounces a bit and then wants to go play games and then wants to go BACK to the bouncy house again. I have to tell him no because it would be another 12 tokens to go back in there, because he left. Maybe an arm band for the bouncy house would be cool. So I could pay once and he could go in and out as much as he wanted. I wouldn't mind paying more than 3.00 if he could go back and forth. And they really need a better prize selection. My daughter went with her grandpa the other day and came home with this TINY pink shoe on a keychain...it's about as big as 2 of my fingers are wide. ITTY BITTY thing....and it cost her 100 tickets. Highway robbery. I think it is a very mis-managed place and it could possibly be a great place if it were managed better. read more

Awesome kids pizza place. Lots of games and the pizza is good it isn't the best but for the price it is great. They will also make any pizza you want you just have to ask. Took the grandkids to Gatti's Pizza this afternoon. There was pizza out but it was cold and tough and tasteless. My real concern was the salad bar. Many of the serving bowls were empty. There was food all over the counter around the bowls of food. There were flies on the salad bar food. The bowls with salad dressing were cross contaminated with dressings from the different serving bowls. The dining room we went into had dirty dishes and food all over them and there were flies in there too. There did not seem to be any employees in this place except at the register were they take your money. Don't waste your money on this place. read more

This place has by far the worst pizza, I have ever tasted. Games are expensive to play and a few look as though they should be shut down.
