I went to Roseville to get my permanent brows. After many visits to remove my old brows and then my new brows were not as expected. I was really dissatisfied and hated the thought of driving back to Roseville. I saw an ad for SN Brows, did my research and decided to go with them. Booked my appointment with Sophia and let me tell ya, she did a fabulous job correcting my eyebrows. Next I had Sophia apply lip blushing and permanent eyeliner. She did a fantastic job. She was very flexible with my schedule and I like the fact that she double checks her work. The staff were very friendly and the salon was clean and organized. I definitely recommend this business. read more

Best foot massage I've ever had. My toes do look nice so that's a plus but loved the foot massage. My stedaughter got her nails done and asked for a more complex design and the lady did a great job looks better than the photo! read more

I'd give them 0 stars. Made an appointment over a week ago for lashes and get there to find out that she didn't look at her schedule for the day and has someone else booked. I'm leaving on a trip tomorrow so finding someone else isn't possible. Don't offer online scheduling if you're not going to actually honor the appointment. read more

I came in randomly on a Tuesday afternoon. I asked for the price list and scanned their QR code. Pricing isn't too bad for this day in 2023. Lee took care of my pedicure while Wendy took care of my manicure. I grew up in this environment so I told them I didn't like the hot stone massage so we agreed that she would exchange for the sugar scrub! These ladies knew what they were doing!!! I was so relaxed!!! The massage for both the hands, arms, legs and feet were A1!!! Super friendly! We were laughing together! They told me that they are known for their pedicures and I could see why!!! I'm definitely coming back!!! read more

The man that did my nails broke a nail and they refuse to acknowledge that they messed up and give me a refund. Sophie is a disgusting customer service representative and will not respect people even when respect is given. I will be taking this to the board of Cosmetology. read more

I only went here because Lee was my nail lady. This was the Only reason why I continued to go back to this place. Owner was always very rude and it was annoying how I would make appointments and then get skipped or the price was always more and even when I earned a discount on their machine stating I could use a discount on my service it was always a hassle to use it. You can tell the owner was very unprofessional to her workers and always talking about customers in a bad manner speaking in her language. I would never go back now that Lee has finally left. The owner even told me that Lee went out of the country, which was a lie. I found her that same day at "JAS Nail Spa! So anyone wondering where Lee went her new spot is JAs nail salon. The vibe is so much better than SN nails. I would never recommend going to this place. read more

Sophia is amazing! I am a 70 yr old that used to be a redhead. (I was worried I would look like a bandit if my brows were too dark.) 2 yrs ago she did my brows. I was unaware of the difference it would make! Sophia literally improved my looks, at my age, not easy! Today I took the step of lower lid eyeliner! It's so perfect because Sophia is a perfectionist and reap the fabulous benefits! Thank you! Thank you! See you soon! read more

Went to get a pedicure about a month ago and when the guy was doing my nails, he use used an acrylic nail to take off the old acrylic that was on there. Not only was he hurting me while he put that acrylic nail under the old acrylic but he also cut my nail bed. My toe starting hurting and I could see a faint red line (blood) across my nail bed. He stopped doing what he was doing and started massaging my feet and totally ignored that he cut my nail! I also got a manicure and the lady that was doing them kept looking at my toe that he injured! Very unprofessional. read more

Unfortunately the reviews are correct. It seems like it's new and nice, but not sanitized correctly at all. My pedicure chipped after less than a week. Not sure if it's old polish or what but usually my pedicure will last at least 3 weeks no problem. One of the workers was texting on her phone and ran into me !!!! Seriously you're at work pay attention. I wouldn't get away with that at my place of employment. The staff just cross talked the whole time which is not relaxing to listen to people yell across the salon for an hour laughing and joking. It's a no for me. Also my pedicure was done in about 30 mins compared to the person I was with that took over an hour ?? Sooo what was skipped , or who was distracted! It was just an annoying experience that I paid for! Also for context. There are probably 20+ nail shops in the area to chose from. So providing good customer service and a SAFE clean environment is part of the job. Being an avid Yelper it is my responsibility to inform other potential customers that they could possibly be getting an infection. To change this reputation you must follow the rules and make sure all employees are paying attention. Special when you want to charge more than the average shop in the area. read more

I went in as a walk in with a girlfriend of mine. The location is kind of tucked away right next to chipotle, so I wasn't expecting much but I was blown away! The decor is so adorable. I'm all about presentation. I got my nails done yesterday by a different salon and my white gel nails legit started to turn brown over night + Sophia filed down the top coat for me and reapplied a top coat they had and they look so much better. She only charged me $5 for that too, which was awesome. I also got a pedicure done. The sweet older lady (I wish I would have caught her name) massaged my feet for so long that I ended up falling asleep. My girlfriend got acrylic nails + hers looked so dreamy!! She also got a gel pedicure 3 weeks ago and I was surprised to hear that because it looks like she got them done a few days ago. Definitely recommend! I have no idea what the previous reviews are referring to about sanitation. I watched them sanitize the tub before they put in a new liner + everything was very clean and well put together. I definitely will be going back. read more

My nieces graduation day and we walked in for a mani for her and pedi for me. Really nice facility, everyone in here very friendly and helpful. My niece loves her gel mani with two small flowers on one nail. I got a gel pedi ( have been getting them for 5 plus years). Am very happy with mine. They offer a wide array of services and will make an appointment to go back for permanent eyeliner read more

While the staff is always very friendly and the pedicures are okay, this is the second time I've come here for a pedicure and left with an infection. I got my toes done last week and my right big toe is infected, which is incredibly painful and makes it a challenge to walk on. There are multiple reviews here that mention the lack of cleanliness, I wish I had seen those before going. Additionally, the services are expensive. A gel pedicure is $47 where you can go to other places and pay $30-35 and not leave with an infection. read more

I've tried coming here twice now. The first time I came, they said they opened at 9am. I came at 8:50am. They had already been open an hour and a half and were completely full. I asked about the wait and they said to come back in a few hours. The next time I tried to come, again they said they were open at 9am. I showed up at 9 and they were closed. I went into the store and came back out about 30 minutes later and they were still closed. I called a couple times and nothing. I'm done trying to come to this place. What's the point of posting hours if you're never going to follow them? A waste of gas and time. read more

I do not recommend this place at all. I got my nails done once & didn't like them. Tried to give them a second chance & they were even worse the second time. Go anywhere else in town other than this place. I asked them to trim my nails & make them even & the guy completely cut off my nails & made them look short & stubby. 10/10 do NOT recommend. p.s I've never left a review in my life but I was so upset I had to share & warn others. read more

***AVOID AT ALL COST, UNLESS YOU WANT TO COME OUT WITH MORE THAN YOU BARGAINED FOR!!!*** I've been getting pedicures for over 15 years and I've never had an infection of any kind... until now. I went in with my mom and sister last weekend to get pedicures and ended up with an infection in my nail bed. Not to mention the first lady that did my pedicure took forever and when she was done a second lady came over and basically re-did the whole pedicure. I'm talking clippers, files, buffers and cuticle clippers, they all came out again! The lady who did my mom's pedicure was texting on her phone the entire time. Their basic pedicure is $30 and claims to include a callous treatment... nope, just the regular old yellow block scrub down that you get at any other shop. It's overpriced and they obviously don't sanitize properly. Learn from my misfortune and go to Fresh Nails by the pond. They open brand new tools for every customer and I've never had any problems there. I will never come to this shop again!! Edit: it is now the following day and another toe is getting sore and red. Apparently, I'm not the only one who's been infected here. Two other people also said they were infected after getting pedicures here. read more

I thought I would try a new nail salon today and never again!! I've never left a nail salon with my nails looking like this! The counter where the lady did my nails felt so gross I asked her to clean it and she ignored me! She told me I had a lot of cuticles so I asked her to cut them and she didn't! Just a waste of my time and money! Save yourself and just go somewhere else! read more

I really like coming to this place. The people are very sweet and most of the time the pedicure is consistent and good. However, every time I go there, they claim their credit card machine is down and I either have to Venmo it or go to the bank and come back with cash. I don't carry cash. It's very inconvenient and honestly I feel like it's intentional. read more

I've been a loyal costumer here for a long time. I've shown many friends and coworkers this spot. The last time for me. I never get my nails done. Went in to spoil myself. I asked for a simple ombré. I got this... they told me it was my fault I chose the wrong color red they couldn't do ombré with. Why would you show me multiple color reds then? They even wanted me to pay for this. Do you see how painful my cuticles look? I even asked the guy who did them if he would be seen out in public with these. He even said no. Worse experience. read more

I was already skeptical to come here because I've seen several comments on Facebook in different groups and THEIR own reviews saying this place has given clients infection such as staph, and they don't clean their implements correctly. But, I was willing to risk it seeing as it's the only nail salon open. I show up this morning at 10AM-they weren't open yet, were just opening the doors when their website, google and yelp say they open at 10, to be told "how can I help you?" "You have to wait l an hour"... no. I just got ready, drove from f**king plumas lake, I'm not waiting around here an hour to get a service that could potentially give me an infection. I'll stick with magic nails. Best in town. read more

I have gone to this salon many times. I really like it. It is clean and I love my gel pedicure. I went yesterday with my friend. I called the day before to make an appt. for 2 pedicures. I got there 10 min early was told to sign in and then I sat in waiting area for about 20 minutes. No one had me go to a pedi chair there was no acknowledgment. I waited then walked out. I didn't feel welcome. I was very disappointed. I went to another shop was greeted and placed in chair and had a wonderful pedicure.you have lost a customer read more

I have to give Lee a big rave! She is fantastic! since COVID obviously no ones been able to get the feet an toes done so after searching not only in Sacramento but yuba and Marysville I finally found a place open. Ive gone here a few times and have been mostly happy with their work. Consistency seems to be the issue but they are the best Ive found thus far. They are friendly, inviting, accommodating. Worse place to get your nails done!!! I got my nails done and they ALL fell off in a week, so I called for them to fix it then they tell me it was 2 weeks ago which it was not cause I had left with my boyfriend for our anniversary that week. They have such terrible customer service! Like the guy who was working my nails told me to sit aside and he went to do another persons nail! And then he just left! And the only person who could do nails SUCKED at it. He couldn't even do french nails! He made my nails different lengths and sizes and cricked. I do not recommend this place. 0 stars for me. Never judge a book by its cover! They need more employees that can actually do nails. Not worth your time and money! read more

My favorite place for everything ! I go here for nails, toes, eyebrows , and lashes . Sofia does the best and her whole team :)

When this place first opened, they did a nice job. But now they really suck. I don't recommend coming here. I always get a deluxe with gel and last time I had a guy who gave me a 2 minute massage. And I literally time it on my phone. And this time I tried again and the lady painted my toes so fast. She left gel polish all over my feet and my toes look like shit. Only go to Chico if you actually want a nice pedicure. Everywhere in yuba city sucks. Do it yourself instead of coming here. read more

My sister and I went in to when they first opened to get a manicure and pedicure, my sister was happy with her set and her pedi, I was very happy w my pedi, but not so much the manicure, the gel was not applied to the top part of the acrylic I did not notice that when I left the salon but I did reach out to sophia and she said come in we will fix it, never had the chance to go back in since I took a vacation right after but for all the bad reviews I know Sophia is one to make it right w the customer so we leave happy. I will still come here again. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. But the one star is for the older lady who does pedicures. She was patient and took her time doing the service. I made an eyelash appointment DAYS in advance and when I show up I still waited an HOUR to get my service. Horrible scheduling, rude nail techs. If you want QUALITY or you care about timing then do not waste your time here. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
