I was very impressed with the service and quality I received at Magic Nails and Spa. When you first enter, you are greeted and walk into an open shop with six spa chairs on one side and nail counters on the other. They have an impressive number of colors, both gel and regular. Prices are reasonable especially because everything feels so great! I had the Magic Spa pedicure which included both hot paraffin wax and hot stones. Bonus they will do your feet and hands at the same time if you wish. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. They do charge an extra dollar if you pay with a credit or debit card. read more

Always amazing quality and quick service, love the energy of the staff. Best French tips around and best nail artists I've seen in town :)

I have loved this place ever since I walked in the door and if you don't get Tiffany's humor you don't belong in here, it's part of the experience. Meaning, she loves to laugh with you but is beyond professional. These ladies get down to business and they truly are an amazing group of people who make you feel at home. I have never gone anywhere else nor will I ever my daughters love it here as well. The fact that Tiffany remembers every single person's name that walks in the door speaks volumes about her level of customer service. and the upgraded pedicures are 100% Worth the extra $! Thank you for all you do read more

We came here as a walk-in, which the sign outside the door encourages. They said they had immediate availability for 2 mani-pedis, so they seated us immediately in the chair. They started working on one of us, and then started the mani while still in the pedicure chair. The place isn't the cleanest, but given the great reviews on Yelp--we stayed focused to see the end product. Then, when the mani on one of us was nearly finished, it was mentioned that they never started on the pedi of the other person (just left them sitting in the pedicure chair), so they offered to just do the manicure. The quality of the mani/pedi was not great, but as a side note, the mani lasted longer than most places (nails usually chip within a couple days and it lasted a full two weeks afterwards--which was impressive). During the manicure, the technician grabbed a pedicure file and then cut the cuticle when buffing because it was too abrasive. Never apologized, just wiped the blood away with her finger. For 1 regular pedicure with no additions, and two basic manicures (polish no gel), it was $100 without tip. I think that is too much, given the issues and lack of quality. So, all in all it would be a place to visit as a last resort. read more

The nail salon had good vibes great staff my feet and nails were a mess but they pulled off the incredible! Magic Nails Yuba - Acrylic French tip - Nail Salons Near Me - Yuba City, California

I felt like she didn't even clean my hands or my nails she just started gluing the fake nail and then the whole time that she was doing my nails she talked about how my finger was crooked and made it look like crap. My acrylics only lasted for 1 week and have all fallen off. Not to mention my sister went there as well at the same time and her nails as well have fallen off.. not only this but I thought they were talking about me and my nails the whole time instead of making me feel pampered considering I never go and get them done I will never go back here again sadly cute salon horrible service horrible work considering my nails fell off in a week $70 right down the drain read more

HANDS DOWN BEST PEDICURE IN YUBA CITY! My friend and I decided to try this spot spontaneously and I'm so glad we did, the owner was HILARIOUS and kept making small talk with my friend and I and made us feel very welcomed (and get a good chuckle). The pedicure was amazing quality and the tech went above and beyond on making sure my feet were baby smooth with the callus remover. We will definitely be back read more

Just moved to Yuba and was looking for a good pedicure place. Came here and I am impressed! Great message from Helen and my toes are looking good. My daughter got a full set French tip and the lady did a great job on her nails. read more

In April, 4 of us visited to have Manis done. Wait time was satisfactory, manicurists appeared to be professional and capable. I came to learn that their prices are comparably quite high. I'll only speak for my own experience. I had expressed a concern about compromising the sturdiness of my nails and was given a bunch of quick double talk, which apparently is the (owner's?) M.O. Since I already had my natural length, I just got French tips and they applied gel coating, which I had never experienced. As they grew out, I could not remove the gel and chopped off the white tips, waiting for the rest to grow out rather than filing the polish off, further wrecking my natural nails. 2 months later, I am struggling with nails that have been destroyed, are paper thin with vertical splitting, where I had none before. Never again! Anticipating my nails to be back to normal before year's end. **@Kayla H. I am quite sure I am addressing the correct business. "Owner" was assumed. She seemed to be in charge, nonetheless. My review is simply a warning to others to be aware that trendy nail treatments/enhancements can be detrimental to nail health. I've always been able to achieve attractively long natural nails. It's upsetting to me that my one manicure in 40 years left my nails worse than I ever imagined. read more

Today, at the start of opening, I called in to make an appointment and asked if they were able to do 3D flowers accents, the woman answered, who's English was limited but was able to convey to me that they do walk in only and to come in to see if someone would be able to do my nails. Upon entering the salon, I saw that all the workers were busy. After awkwardly standing at the door a man who was giving a pedicure finally looked up to address me. He asked what I wanted, an acrylic set with French tip and accent 3D nails. He looked towards all the workers who were already assisting patrons. No one responded and he ceased to readdress me. I waited and said I can come back at another time. He said someone can help me. I said how long would the wait be, he looked towards the workers again with no response. I reiterated that I can come back later and asked how long the wait would be. No response. I asked again, he asks the other workers and a woman very rudely said 30 minutes. The salon just opened and clearly everyone was busy. The 30 minutes was an arbitrary response and my feelings of being uncomfortable quickly turned into disgust and disappointment. This interaction that should have take no more than a couple minutes. Took several and the awkward silence and lack of reassurance made me feel unwelcome. The woman's response made it clear that I wasn't wanted there. I said, I'll come back another time and left. I was able to find another salon to do my nails shortly after and will be continuing my business there. I am unsure why businesses would treat potential customers/patrons the way they did. My review is based on service only. I am unsure of sanitation or quality of work since they were unable to communicate clearly on wait time and ability to do the nail art that I wanted. read more

It is always a joy to go in. I am always laughing the whole time. The work they do is 5 star. I would recommend this shop above all in Yuba City read more

If I could give zero stars I would! After being treated poorly at another nail salon. I walk in and mention I just want a fill, this is the third time I get the older guy that is rough in handle your hands! Mentioned to me because I didn't go there prior that they can't match my pink powder out their large selection on the wall. And then proceeds to laugh when I mentioned to use DND he said this is powder? Well either way he didn't want to even try and match the color? And continued to push and pull my fingers back in forth as he's using the Dremel cutting my cuticles left and right! Do not waste you time here, they will also laugh at you if you mention knowing anything about nails. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! Go to a business that respects you, time and money! read more

I am very picky about my nails and this is the first place I have found in Yuba City that did NOT disappoint. The pedicure was so relaxing and they did such a good job especially considering I have some very short nails on my pinky toes. I asked for Stiletto full set and for once I actually got pointed tips. Every other Salon has tried to always round out the tips I don't want rounded out tips I want the pointy pointy jabby jabby nails LOL. I showed them exactly what I wanted brought in a picture and they did it to a tee I am very happy and will definitely be coming back read more
