We came here an early Sunday morning, before I had to catch the bus back to Arlanda Airport (which leaves from right on the other side of the street, next to Fridhemsplan t-bana). That perfect location made us choose to go here, but I'd definitely go back! At first it looked as if they don't have that much to choose from thought, but all three of us got what we wanted and they serve good coffee ánd fresh orange juices! I went for a croissant, kanelbulle (to say goodbye to Sweden ;)), a latte and an orange juice and paid 105kr for all that. It was more than enough to start the day with, take a bus to the airport to ánd fly back to Amsterdam, so I was happy. And yep: I'm a fan.

I wish there was a zero star review option on the Yelp as well! I went there with a friend on a…read moreSaturday for brunch. They had really limited options to choose from. 3,4 kinds of pastry, 2 kinds of juices, one kind of yogurt & fried egg sandwiches with/ without salami on them. The sandwiches were stacked up on top of each other outside the fridge right at the cashier( the point where you walked in) so I assumed they were there only to display so I asked here that if I order egg sandwich I'll get a hot egg, right? She said no these are the sandwiches & it is served cold, do you want hot, I said yeah assuming that she was gonna crack an egg for me and make one but then she just put one of those sandwiches in a microwave! And you probably know what kind of smell to expect from a heated fried egg!! Absolutely disgusting! They also serve their coffee in a plastic cup which was a huge minus for me. I think the whole idea with this cafe must have been a hipster simple hang out but it has gone terribly wrong and all that is, is really a dump looking place with a bunch of worn out furniture & plastic dishes to serve food in! And last but not least, they charge me 70 SEK for a fairly small( compare to other cafes) sandwich & a lousy late which makes this place one of the most overpriced cafes in the whole Stockholm!

Café Blom is a cute little cafe that's part of the Museum for Architecture and Design, but as…read morethat's in the same building as Moderna Museet it's also very easy to go there from that museum. And: it's way better than the (quite uncosy, if you ask me) cafe that Moderna Museet has itself. They seem to serve amazing coffees and have fancy juices and lemonades, but as we really just needed a quick bite, we went for water (that you can just take for free). There were many good looking salads and sandwiches to choose from, but as I'm not always spending my weekends in Stockholm (or Sweden in general), I obviously had to go for some sort of bulle. Cinnamon, cardamom - they had it all, and they looked awesome. But they also had saffransbullar, which is something I hadn't tasted before, so we obviously (both) went for that one. It was very sweet, but extremely good and filling, too. Just because of the distance from the rest of the city, I wouldn't just walk to Skeppsholmen just to go to Café Blom, but if I'll ever visit one of the museums again, I'd definitely go here. It's cosy, not too pricy and did I already say how delicious their food is? Well. Yep.

They offer superior quality hot and pre-made dishes at decent prices, ordered counter style. Their soup of the day during my visit was tomato, served with a generous dollop of tangy yogurt and basil oil. You could tell that this stuff was made fresh, not poured from a can. They have a generous free bread basket that you can help yourself to, providing delicious, hearty, chewy bread to dunk in your soup, or dip in a little dish of olive oil (also gratis). They offer a tempting array of baked goods, but they also sell delicious Danish chocolate bars from Simply Chocolate at the register (I am partial to the "Grainy Sue", which is basically a granola bar covered in chocolate). Seating is plentiful, as they have several rooms set up with tables in different configurations, including an outdoor patio. This is a very kid-friendly environment, and there were lots of strollers lined up at midday. They also offer free Wifi if you're needing to get some internet time in.

While it may not be clearly Spanish food but rather more Spanish inspired mixed with some Scandinavian influences but I still found it great. The guys running this place also have El Diablo at Kungsholmen. Started the evening with a glass of cava. The selection was very good with some I had never tried before, ended up having an oak aged cava which was really great. Look forward to stopping by just for a few glasses of cava and some tapas at the bar in the future. We had reserved the chef's table - I just love to sit so that I can see the chef(s) at work and at Bar Nombre it was not something that they charged extra for or required a specific menu to be ordered so was a welcome surprise. The food was consistently great - I started the evening with some braised ox cheek - a lovely dish that just made me want more. The main for me was a the pork - prepared to perfection. Everyone else was also very pleased with their choice of food - we were 4 people in the group and everyone ordered something different and everyone was pleased with every single dish. It was also plenty of food so I actually skipped the dessert. Service was extremely efficient and very friendly and still managing to be good with recommendations and make everyone feel welcome. All together an excellent evening and I can't wait to come back (and will soon be back).
