Food was really good and the bartender/server was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely eat here again.

Fried artichokes and ham, and bruschetta appetizers

Agree with the other reviewers. Found this place on Yelp. Squeezed into the last table in this hopping place. Got the bruschetta and the fried artichokes/pine nuts/Iberica ham/spinach leaves for starters, along with the excellent multigrain fresh bread. The pasta Della corvina had veal, truffle oil, grated cheese and mushroom. All were excellent and also served quickly and with good attention by the staff. Would definitely recommend and return!

What the heck was I thinkin' going to an Italian joint in Stockholm. It looked so cozy and inviting, had to go right in. Well, the stellar Yelpeviews validated the urge. This is a small intimate place to hang (the vibe similar to a neighborhood enoteca in Roma) if you're in Sweden and are craving different cuisine. Hey it's summer and it felt great to be here. CE doesn't have the usual Italian staples, most dishes are (tapas) light however. The food I sampled here was very good, the wines enough variety to soothe an oenophile. It's a romantic kind of place , you walk in and you run and plop yourselves on seat cushions by the window, watch the water, marvel at the old street, and wonder what people were like in Gamla Stan when this restaurant was not here. You begin to fantasize while watching people, savor the beautiful sunny scenery outside, close to sunset, the breeze apparent..... your dream is interrupted with your first dish: Tuna carpaccio. The tuna was plump, fresh and delicious, highlighted with a touch of tart, greens for freshness and a very fruity olive oil. Really delish. Simple and Zen. Paired with a Riesling. But wait, here's YET another place that serves beautifully crusty Swedish bread. The tapenade as an accompaniment to the earthy bread was super scrummy. The Iberico unfortunately was sliced soooo thin, like prosciutto that it was a bit dry. I was craving a good Iberico and it was. I am just used to the Spanish treatment of this delicacy, cut a little thicker and moister. I would get the prosciutto next time. The Pasta Corvina was super nice, loaded with textures: a bold bite to the pasta, the crunch of the greens, the earthy texture of the mushrooms and beef filet, the nuttiness of the parmiggiano, pasta drunk from cream and truffles and Mmmm, mmm mmm, a nice Amarone with it and I was in dreamland-- looking forward to a future trip to Italia. The panna cotta however stole the show. Can't believe I'm writing about dessert again in Sweden. For I haven't had something so deliciously satisfying in a dessert: silky sexy smooth panna cotta with a touch of Swedish summer raspberries and blueberries, nice, crisp, sweet, tart, ripe. These flavors reminded me that soon the season will be over and today is the time to enjoy them before the season changes.....and everything fades to memory. Visits: 1 Tip: Order Italian wines at CE. They pair well with the Mediterranean dishes here. California wines are available if you like cabernets but I find cabs too wine-y tasting and competes with the earthy character of the plates here.

We spent a Saturday afternoon here, enjoying a lovely cheese plate with a superb array of cheeses, delicious bread, jam, tapenade, olive oil. The service was very attentive and friendly, we were recommended a french red limited edition wine from Fitou that accompanied the cheese perfectly. A place to return to!

Really classy wine spot for those that love a good glass of wine. The place serves over 100 different flavors and bottles of wine so you ll be sure to find something you like. In addition, the bartenders were so informative and patient and allowed me to try roughy 5 wines before I finally settled on a Malbec. My one disappointment which doesn't necessary have to do with this store is that most of the European wines I've tried while traveling are extremely light and lack the boldness of a Cabernet. Most of the drinks were only 20-30% Cabernet mix and the ones that had higher percentages were extremely pricey. The restraint also serves tapas and cold cuts and cheese platters for 240 kr!

I ordered the burger which came with fries and it was definitely one of the tastiest burgers I've had. The restaurant is quite small and cozy. The servers were very nice and the food came out quickly! I can imagine this to be a nice place for a date night. It seemed to be filled with both locals and visitors as it is located in a hotel. Highly recommend if you're visiting Stockholm :) [97/100]

They refer to themselves as a 'food court' restaurant, which is a disservice: the food is WAY better than food court fare, indeed it is gourmet. You just happen to be able to order from the different menus of the different restaurants. The service was very friendly & efficient. And, best, there was none of the usual 'Stockholm Lag' of 45-60 mins between starter & entrees. We started with charcuterie (really, really good), and cod with celery & sea foam (brilliant), and the steak tartare. The tartare was amazing. In fact, it was so good, I snarled like a deranged dog when Sweetie tried to share some. For our main, we all had the burger, which was damned good. The fries were good, but not as good as other places in Stockholm (Nybrogatan 38, par example...). The wine list was good, & reasonably priced. The bar was cozy, with an awesome selection of spirits. The Burgundy was really good, & we'll definitely be back.

They offer a good selection of mainly ecological wines by the glass. Three to four sparkling wines, and around 10 each of white and reds offered by the glass as well as a handful of artisanal beers and some other beverages represents a good selection. The wines are in general good quality, perhaps not the most exciting ones but well selected wines of good quality and at a pretty good price level. Most wines by the glass can also be had in smaller taster glasses. They also have a small selection of snacks and simple dishes to nibble on while sipping your wine. The place is nicely designed and in summer the outdoor seating is really pleasant. The service is friendly but my main objection to the place is how they organized things. All orders need to be placed at the bar so no table service. That would be fine if they were reasonably fast but on the past two occasions we have skipped ordering a second glass due to the line being to long and not moving at all. They would really make more money and be a more pleasant place if they had table service.

The space is incredibly small but very efficiently used so in some way they easily manage to squeeze in 30+ people in a space no bigger than most people's living rooms. The staff are friendly and relaxed so it feels a bit more like having a glass of wine with at a friends (a very knowledgeable one) as a normal question is more like what type of wine you feel like today. The relaxed feeling and cozy atmosphere is really a strength of this place. The wine list changes frequently, and it usually holds around 5-7 whites, 5-7 reds and 1 sparkling by the glass. There is also almost always a few additional wines that are available by the glass so be sure to ask what else they have. With the name I would have expected more of Spanish wines but when I have been here there has been a lot of Italian and French wines on the list. The wines are in general good and it is always possible to have a small taster before ordering a full glass. I have not had spectacular wine here but also never anything close to bad so it is very good wine bar. Prices are also fairly reasonable to be Stockholm (expect at least 80-90 SEK per glass, many around 120 SEK and a few a bit more but no bargains to be had. Upon my latest visit I sampled a pleasant Cabernet Franc from the Loire Valley, the producer was Yannick Amirault, region Bourgueil and the wine was called La Coudraye. Very good Cabernet Franc, especially considering the price. In addition I also sampled a Chianti from Montesecondo, fairly nice balance but felt rather young so while pleasant now would probably benefit from some ageing. They also serve some food. Mainly small plates, tapas style. I sampled the cheese croquetas, the charcuterie plate and the almonds. The food is pretty decent but looking at the amount of food it is not really great value for money. The dishes are small and the prices would make it fairly expensive to fill up on the tapas. So either come here before dinner for some good wine, nice atmosphere and enjoy a small bite or two or come after dinner and have some wine. I will definitely stop by now and then for a glass of wine so it is welcome to a neighborhood otherwise pretty starved for quality beverages (still waiting for a proper coffee place).
