The remodel is FAB but the food not so :(. We usually order the same thing and went to do that this evening. The menu has changed and I feel the cook has too. One of our favorites is the fajitas ... GONE! We ordered the spicy shrimp, garlic shrimp and potatoes with aioli. We decided to try the chili. The shrimp dishes tasted completely different from before. Lacking in flavor and very watery? The potatoes tasted the same but were in bigger pieces than before. We ordered (and paid for extra aioli) but got less than the normal amount even though I asked upon pickup. The chili was meh ... more like kallops than chili. The good, the staff. Always pleasant and very social. They know how to serve and do it with a smile. It's a real shame that the menu has taken a drastic nosedive from previously. We are sad to say that this wil no longer be our local spot for tapas.

The place is tiny, so come early if you want to have a table. No reservations of course! The small "kitchen" is inside the bar and one of the two or three guys working each night is making the tapas. Simple plates like charcuteries, pimentos de padron, pulpo, sliders, bikinis etc. Everything was great! Local beers, try their own Racamaca IPA. It has become pretty popular, and I can definitely see why. This will be my new hang out spot for relaxed after works. Liked the sink in the bathroom! So cute!

The guys running this place also have El Diablo at Kungsholmen. Started the evening with a glass of cava. The selection was very good with some I had never tried before, ended up having an oak aged cava which was really great. Look forward to stopping by just for a few glasses of cava and some tapas at the bar in the future. We had reserved the chef's table - I just love to sit so that I can see the chef(s) at work and at Bar Nombre it was not something that they charged extra for or required a specific menu to be ordered so was a welcome surprise. The food was consistently great - I started the evening with some braised ox cheek - a lovely dish that just made me want more. The main for me was a the pork - prepared to perfection. Everyone else was also very pleased with their choice of food - we were 4 people in the group and everyone ordered something different and everyone was pleased with every single dish. It was also plenty of food so I actually skipped the dessert. Service was extremely efficient and very friendly and still managing to be good with recommendations and make everyone feel welcome. The tapas food is served as it is ready in the kitchen rather than all at once, which is great as all tapas then will have the best temperature. They use tapioca flour for most of their dishes making this a great place to eat at for people with gluten intolerance. They also offer several tapas that are suitable for people eating according to the fodmap-diet (IBS-diet).
