The spot is right by the area where a lot of the boat tours depart from, so honestly, I wasn't expecting much. It seems super fancy, but it ws 4:00pm and we were hungry and didn't care. Not sure why they gave us the dinner menu (except something are a bit pricer) instead of the lunch as the dinner menu said from 5:00pm, so I'd ask about that if it happens to you. Stockholm is expensive enough! Service was nice, not amazing (few places are anymore). Atmosphere was classy, cozy, a slightly upscale. Not sure how people dress at night, but we weren't dressed up at all.The food was good. Like, really good. I got a chicken Caeasar salad...and who really has high expectations for that? Nobody. But now you should. Because it was awesome. Maybe just a bit too much dressing, but I was fine with it. I would eat it again in a heartbeat. My husband got the shrimp salad and really enjoyed it. He mentioned that it seemed strange that it was 1/4 of an avacado for the entire salad and really could have used more. The portions were, what I would consider, American-sized. Maybe in Amsterdam I'm just used to smaller sizes and plates, but these were definitely meal-sized salads! Bread was delicious and served with proper olive oil. My Reisling was spot on. Pricey "lunch" but really, it was bascially dinner and in that case, it was more normal I think. Would recommend!

I got the toast linne: bread was very well toasted and the shrimp salad was good. The menu said there was smoked salmon as well mixed in but I didn't see any pieces. My friend got a salad and a cocktail and seemed happy with both. Pretty expensive overall though so I probably wouldn't recommend it.

So I just chilled out at the bar and ordered some beers and Swedish meatballs. I know it's corny to order those, but they were really fantastic and the rich cream sauce put it over the top. This is a great place to go out with your sweetie. We had a couple minor problems. We booked at bokabord for dinner, and were shooed out after a certain amount of time for the next people who booked the table. This wasn't very nice, considering there were long pauses in the service. We really didn't notice how slow the service was because the ambience is very relaxed, but this wasn't the way to handle it on their part. I think they could have tried to speed up service more discreetly rather than asking us to leave. The second problem was the pricing on the menu was misleading. This could not be a language issue, as we had the English copy of the menu. We ordered the steak meal that said minimum 2 persons, with the price, but when we got the bill it had the menu price doubled for 2 people. I wasn't happy with this because it felt a bit dishonest, but not unhappy enough to complain because the food was very tasty and overall, the experience was very enjoyable. I would still reccomend this place, but those two issues mean it was a 4 rather than 5 star experience for me.

Our server was so good, too - she checked in on us gracefully and answering alll our questions with expertise. Beef fillet á la Rydberg was my delicious entree. Crème brûlée terrific closing. Pripps Blå on draught perfect liquid complement. But the culinary highlight was the Toast Skagen apppetizer for 3 (you cannot have enough.) My wife and nephew enjoyed their meals as well. So fortunate to have enjoyed such a wonderful evening.

So I reached out to a good friend and she recommended a hand full of places that included Tennstopet! My meal consisted of the Steak Tartare starter, "Today's cut of reindeer" for my main, and the Apple cake for dessert and each complemented each-other perfectly! The tartare was fully loaded with trimmings and tasted great. The reindeer was perfectly cooked and pre-cut, not tough /AT ALL/. And the Apple cake, all I can say is that you HAVE to get the Apple Cake when visiting! The texture is great and the flavor is amazing! Looking forward to visiting again!

A clean restaurant whose interior reminds one of a Paris street cafe with the daily menu written on a chalk slate brought to the table. The staff were friendly and unobtrusive. My first experience with snails and if they always taste this good, it definitely will not be my last. For the main course, I had a horse steak with foix gras on recommendation of our waitress. The meat was cooked perfectly and just about melted in my mouth. My choice for dessert was a chocolate lava cake. Lovely and rich. The prices for the restaurant were more than what I would generally spend for a meal in Stockholm, but were not unreasonable and based on the quality, were worth every kronor.
