After cleaning the vents and dryer and full dryer troubleshooting, we contacted At Your Service Pros (kudos to the Costco-dispatched tech for noticing the extremely hot circuit breaker). At Your Service was very flexible on appointment times, and one of their techs, Kyle, came out to service the home. Kyle reproduced and diagnosed the issue to the circuit breaker. Not only did he fix the circuit breaker, but he also noticed some of the wiring needed to be placed at the service panel, which he did as well. He also checked the other breakers while he was out there and made sure the dryer outlet was okay. Lo and behold, the dryer works perfectly now. Thanks Kyle and At Your Service for getting this issue fixed and for taking a larger look at the panel to make sure things look okay. I appreciate Kyle was on time and that the service was professional and efficient.

It's based solely on the booking process. I was able to book an appointment on Sunday for Monday morning, but they called early Monday and said they couldn't make it until Tuesday. That caused me to miss out on other companies that had Monday availability and wasted valuable time on something we needed done as soon as possible. They need to get their scheduling system figured out.

I do want to start this review off with I love the product! The fan was great during the summer!…read moreHowever I cannot give this company a good review. We signed up for their product and filled out a form for their "same as cash" credit offer. When the install date comes up, the install tech was over an hour late to no fault of his own. Turns out that the company gave him the wrong address and the wrong phone number so he couldn't contact us. After calling the office, they finally got it figured out (install tech was a great guy!) After the install was completed, they asked me for payment in full. After a long conversation, turns out that the salesman had lost my credit application (which had all of my personal information, SSD, etc.) I gave them a card and told them that if they find that application to please destroy it. At that point, I would rather pay several months interest than deal with this company any more. Fortunately two days later they call me and let me know that the salesman found the application and it had been destroyed. Fast forward three months later and I get another call from their office asking if we had received their services. I said yes and really wondered what kind of a business can survive with that kind of internal management. You would think that they would have a better record of who owes them money and who doesn't. Anyway, the receptionist that called said that she was going through some files and found my application. I told her that we ended up giving them a different payment method because there were so many problems with trying to go through the credit application. She then responded that she remembered and she was trying to figure out how my application (which they said previously was destroyed) had ended up in that pile of paperwork. A few days after, I get an option to leave a review on their website. I left a review very similar to this one, but gave it two starts because yes, I do like their product. However, that review has yet to show up on their site and I have seen other reviews from after I submitted that review being posted. It looks like they are filtering out the bad reviews to make themselves look better. Because of that, I have to give them a one star review. It is not honest to filter or sensor reviews. Hopefully people will be able to see this one at least.

I asked him about someone I could trust to check my furnace (as I had smelled gas) and my water heater. I would like to add that both furnace and water heater are from 1994, that's 28 years ago. While I feared the worst that Will would tell me I needed a new furnace and water heater he came over and spent a lot of time checking everything. He explained everything he was checking and found really nothing that was broken. He also found no gas leak with his meters. We talked about the age of the units but to my surprise and extreme happiness he basically said "if it aint broke, then don't fix it! I asked Will to replace my thermostat which was the old mercury kind and came with the 1994 unit and he brought a brand new digital thermostat. Setting it on the wall with extreme care and a wall mount all was good. I was so so impressed with his work ethic, his personality, his great job. About an hour later I felt like I was in a hot spa. It was suddenly 76 degrees in the house. I called him and we decided to reset but it got even worse and reached what looked like 78 degrees. I called him again. I knew he was fully booked but asked him to please please please come back and replace the obviously defective unit I had purchased from him. A couple hours later he was at my door with a brand new thermostat , set it up and its been PERFECT ever since. He did not charge me to come back, and his price for labor was super fair. It was so fair I felt he deserved a monetary tip and I was happy to do that. Of course he told me I didn't have to do that but seemed truly grateful. Based on my experience with Monarch Air and Will, I will never give a thought to ever using anyone else. This was a perfect experience ( except for frying for a couple hours) Thank you Will and Monarch Air

The next quote we received was from a rookie salesman with very little actual knowledge of what he was selling and couldn't even tell us the brand of equipment they would be using. Lastly we contacted Redrock HVAC, the difference was night and day. Steve, the owner, came out and inspected our current setup and we talked about what our hopes were with a new system, and he actually listened. We had several wants that all seemed to be the priority for our new system. The outdoor coil had to be quiet in operation and not look terribly out of place, why? Because. We wanted a more even temperature to be maintained, no huge swings above and below the desired temperature as well as a system that wouldn't break the bank in purchase or utilites. I knew enough from a lifetime in the construction trades that I was asking for the impossible, afterall my current system was still working and I didn't have to replace anything, yet. Steve emailed us pricing for three systems, trying to meet our expectations as well as keeping the price reasonable. I was able to talk with him again, and ask questions, making sure what we would be buying was going to be the best decision for the money, all thoughts of doing nothing had gone out the window. Steve was knowledgeable and forthright in his communication and ultimately we settled on a high end system that would give us the best product we could hope for. Installation time came and it wasn't without a few hiccups, but that's the nature of any remodel and Redrock HVAC worked through each challenge, professionally and courteously. It has been a year since the installation was completed and I can honestly say every step of the way my expectation has been exceeded. The temperature is comfortable and consistent both on the main floor and in the basement and I love that the blower runs (at my discretion) constantly, cleaning the air and evening the temperature. Heating or cooling, the force of air coming out of the vents is never a distraction and I could never say that about my old system. My natural gas and electricity costs are lower and best of all, when the air conditioner is running and I'm entertaining in the backyard, the outside coil fan is so quiet I have to look at it to see if it's even on.

Professional, quick and honest. I had my air conditioner looked at by three different companies. Scott Hale was first. I got a groupon for a tune up. They told me it was fine, replaced a small part but it still didn't work. They came back and added coolant and that didn't help either. They kept telling me it was fixed but it never worked. The second one wanted me to replace the coils at a cost of 1000-1800 he was nice and seemed to be trying his best but didn't seem very knowledgeable so I wanted a second opinion on such a large repair order. Then Red Rock came out and looked at it. Within minutes he had found the issue, fixed it and it was not the 1000-1800 I had been quoted. He was honest, quick and had a VERY good understanding of how air conditioning units worked and how to diagnose issues. I wish I would have found them the first time. The technician even talked to me about how to maximize the AC's effectiveness, best maintenance routines I could do myself, best and most inexpensive filters etc. I highly recommend them. I didn't get charged through the nose for ineffective fixes or upsold on a new unit.
