Be careful!! I bought food from here and then went to get my nails done.. which is the same parking lot. . I come outside and my car is not there!! Turns out, from the paperwork I received at the towing place.. smoothie Roo called a tow truck on my car!!! After I bought food from them. I have pain issues and didn't feel comfortable getting into an uber. So I had to stand outside waiting for my mom to pick me up. It was $200 to get my car back. Paid a visit to Smoothie Roo for a protein shake after a workout. Was very torn as they had so many options. I ultimately went for "muscle monster" and I'm happy I did. Very tasty and it quenched my craving for some junk that I should not have after an intense workout. Ok I can't say enough about this place! Food is fresh. Love the acai no clue if I'm spelling it right, kind of know what's in it but totally LOVE it! Fresh fruit and what appears to be coconut topping yummmmm And salad and well everything is great here! Getting into the parking lot is a pain in the arse too...but, that's long beach road for ya. A few tables and a small counter with a few stools along with a small cold case for salads and wraps make up the interior. They offer berry fun smoothies, tropical smoothies, exotic smoothies, and protein shakes. Highlights; Berrylicious (from the berryfun section) Pineapple pulse (from the tropical section) -- I will say although very tasty there is far more strawberry than pineapple in this smoothie. Lean body ( protein shake) this has 50 g of protein -- I was full for 2 days, lol Low lights; Too much strawberry in a few of the smoothies, it is way too overpowering especially if you are jonesing pineapple, blueberry or acai. Prices range from 4.55 for a small size to 6.95 for a large size. ( the medium is like a standard large) the large is freakin redic big!! I stopped here on a whim, looking for a healthy dessert and was not disappointed. I ordered the first thing on their menu because it sounded interesting: green machine. It only sucks that i had to get a large because the credit card minimum is 10 bucks. But aside from that, the nice guy at the counter made it fast and it's super delicious. I got a punch card too. Wow. I absolutely loveeee the shakes and smoothies from here. Last night on June 2nd, I came from work and I wanted to surprise my boyfriend and myself (of course) with a delicious Avo-Roo Cado smoothie. So fresh and tasty!! I was running late because of traffic and I wasn't sure whether they closed at 8 or 9. So I go ahead and give them a call and turns out they were closing at 8. I was really upset because I was going to make it a minute or two late. Dino, on the phone, offered to make me it anyways since I was already on the way. I flew to Smoothie Roo a few minutes past 8 and there was my amazingggg smoothie. He was so kind and I really appreciate it. Ordered 2 drinks with this guy, who was nice, we asked the other guy and lady who seemed to running the place if my PREGNANT wife can use the restroom. Owner, said there is no public restroom, i responded by saying " you service drinks and food, owner respond with its a take out place. Smoothies are OK but some of the staff members could be a little more polite. Just took my 2.5 year old for a smoothie and when she politely asked to use the bathroom we were rudely told that we couldn't. Ok so no restroom for customers.... I get it- but try and be a *little* more cordial when someone asks. Especially for a child. Not the first time I've dealt with a frosty employee there.
