Tried this smoothie place for the first time. The staff were friendly. They need something to draw more customers to come in. I asked if drinks were made with real fruit or fruit syrup. They shared no fruit syrup, use fruit and fruit juice. Ambience is lacking. Maybe play some music. They also need to sweep a bit more to remove cobwebs on base boards. Was very disappointed. Got there at 6:57. When I went in, I was told they were closed. Since it was not 7pm, I figured I could get waited on. I said, it's not 7pm.yet. I went for the first time tonight. My favorite Jamba Juice was closed. The workers were not very helpful nor friendly. I wasn't familiar with the menu and was given minimal help from the young man at the register. The girl who was mopping never was washed her hands nor did the cashier who made my drinks. He didn't have to touch any of the ingredients but it was still off putting. The drinks were just okay. I think the ingredients they use are frozen not fresh, I can tell the different. I needed my socks to be knocked off, they are still on. The energy of the place really sucked. Maybe they wanted to close down early but I was left with an uneasy feeling and mediocre drinks. I very much enjoy the smoothies from smoothie king! I go there every Friday for the $5 smoothies! I only suggest that there be more than 2 employees working holidays. For instance, today, Presidents' Day... I waited 30 for two if the same size and flavor smoothies. I have 3 small kids and I was third in line. So many people were waiting, there was even a couple that walked in and walked straight out bc of the amount of people that were waiting. The two girls working seemed very stressed and so I hope that by writing this, someone from management will read it and consider having an additional employee for holidays. I'm a smoothie/juice junkie and even though Smoothie King is on the pricier side, I would still consider this the best smoothie joint in the Woodbridge area. Sorry, Tropical Smoothie. Smoothie King offers a vast selection of drinks you can choose from, from the healthy and lighter to the indulgent high-calories ones. In addition, there are health supplements (vitamins, probiotic, etc.) you can add into your drink for an extra cost. Around the cashier area, there are also healthy bars and supplements they also sell individually. As a health nut, this place is perfect to come for a post-workout treat. Nutritional information on each drink is also posted on the large menu behind the counter. The only complaint I have is that the writing on the big menu is a bit small and hard to read. I almost always order the Slim-N-Trim smoothie (chocolate is the best) and I "Make it Skinny", meaning that the milk and sugar is replaced with healthy substitutes. It can cut around 100 calories from the normal smoothie. Other smoothies I've tried: Lean1 Vanilla (nice nutty and banana flavour), the Shredder chocolate (nice addition of protein). Their Mango Kale smoothie is pleasant as well. Smoothie king also has many international locations and is considered "cool" in parts of Asia. I have stumbled across a couple of locations in Singapore and Korea. It is a nice addition to the Woodbridge area. read more

I was somewhat disappointed in my first visit to the Smoothie King Franchise. Everything looked so good from the start. Prices were fair and the Dining Area was clean and somewhat modern. The employees seemed perky, but it was most likely because they were working with friends. It seemed promising so far. I was waiting behind someone and another person was behind me. Being a first timer, I took longer to order and let the person behind me go in front of me. I ordered my smoothie without the weird proteins, because I like to indulge in smoothies. While waiting for my smoothie, I watched as both people in front of me got an extra smoothie in addition to the one they ordered. Both times the employees said they put "too much in" and they could have the extras. I got real excited, because I thought this would be the place where I would be a regular based on my outstanding first experience, but nope. It just turned out the employees were buddy-buddy with the two people in front of me and got extras at no extra charge. I just got a smoothie plopped onto the counter and a "get out of my sight" glare. The smoothie had a bad after taste (protein?) and was a let down. Awesome Smoothie King! My wife and I are new to the area and decided to go over to this Smoothie King since I was still hungry after dinner. I have been to other smoothie kings but this one was busy and hoping! I think it was because of their 32oz Fridays which is an awesome deal! I ordered the Vanilla Hulk and it was perfect. My wife decided not to get anything because she wanted ice cream. My wife was wearing a neck brace since she was in a car accident a couple of days ago. Katie was super nice and offered a free smoothie for her since it would have some anti inflammatories and will make her feel much better. She decided not to take her since she really wanted ice cream but it was a really nice gesture from Katie. Kudos to her!
