I live next door to this Smoothie King so I come there once or twice a week. Last week they put my order through twice and ensured me I'd get a refund, no problem, I'm not sweating $8. Today I go in to get an online order for pick-up. The manager (?) starts immediately popping off at me, accusing me of writing a bad review for her and going off on me about how she told me she was gonna give me a refund and how I apparently didn't listen, etc etc. I said lady you have me confused because I am Molly Felix and I have not left any review, written any email, or asked corporate for any refunds. Brand new smoothie king located right across from lifetime fitness. The name pretty much says it all. Smoothie king is my go to for smoothies. This new location is ideal for me especially since Im a member of lifetime and nothing is better after a workout then a refreshing smoothie (berry punch under the trim section). The only drawback I have, which is a personal one, is that they open at 7am. I'm an early bird and finish my workout around 6 and by the time I shower and take my time it's 6:45 which means sometimes I wait outside of the store like a creep. The app is a nice incentive. After about five visits you're on your way To a free smoothie. Friday's have 32oz smoothies for only $5, this is about $3-4 in savings. Every other coupon usually contains a $1 off coupon once you complete a survey. Although I rank them as pretty expensive in terms of smoothies, I think you get what you pay for. I've never been disappointed and even when I tried something new, they were happy to correct my terrible creation. -------- Pretty standard location. Terrible customer service. Took 45 minutes to make 2 açaí bowls and they didn't know how to make it. One employee answered her cell phone while we were ordering and walked away for 3 minutes without explanation. These 2 employees did not work in a systematic order. for the second time in less than a week, I have arrived 15 minutes before closing, yet the door was locked. I knocked on the door and an employee and the manager both saw me, but ignored me. At about 8:51 PM, nine minutes, before the post of closing time, the lights went out. This is not good customer service whatsoever. Any customer who comes into the location prior to 9:00 PM, should be able to place an order. 9:00 PM does not mean that the employees are ready to leave by 9 PM. I'm a diabetic & there's so many flavors to choose from & there's also things you can add such as kale & spinach. I finally convinced my husband to try a smoothie; let's say his first experience was terrible. The customer service was terrible. First the guy was ringing himself up, didn't greet us but told the young lady we was out there. She came and just look at me. I had to ask her if she was ready to take my order. The staff seems to be knowledgeable about the ingredients and they can make supplement recommendations. This new location is very convenient and clean, but the inconsistency of the product is a bit unfortunate. Please fully train your workers, most who seem to be under the age of twenty, so that there aren't chewy bits in the smoothies that get stuck in the straw. This issue doesn't exist at the friendly downtown location even though they operate under the same name. There's also some occasions where the ratio of ice to ingredients affects the overall texture and taste, making it more like an icee. Twice now I've had to ask for my smoothie to be remade. Again, this can be remedied with more quality training. I really like these smoothies, particularly the vegan options and the rewards app, but I'd prefer not to drive all the way down town just to get the best quality. read more

I can in to 5 or 6 workers, and no one took my order. Finally a girl who was restocking the front asked me if I had been helped. I told her no. With wet gloves she took my order. While making my order, she touched the computer screen,l to take two other peoples orders, walked around with the container to ask questions in the back, refill the ice chest and FIX HER MASK....ALL WITHOUT CHANGING HER GLOVES...NOT ONCE. Now she may have been overwhelmed and I may have been over watching because I am a nurse but this is the reason why I don't really go outside the house for food. Always my go to spot when I'm craving a good smoothie. The king has hit the spot for years. The Service & quality are reliable no matter what location I visit. They have a descent mobile app awards program I use to earn lots of free rewards. My go to smoothie is the strawberry hulk , chunks of strawberry & butter pecan ice cream make this one of the best recovery smoothies after a TOUGH workout. It's high in calories & sugar, but there's a variety of smoothies to choose from to suit anybody's desires. I can't wait to see the new concept stores the king is rolling out! My experience with Tyler and Alex was simply amazing - the agent knew the product, explained it to me in detail -- every ingredient and told me the benefits of the product... As I sit in the sitting area waiting for the smoothie to be made -- It was a joy seeing them work.. Customer service was great. However, the product is very inconsistent I think staff should be train to completely blend the ice with the smoothie. I had entirely too much ice in my smoothie. I ordered two smoothies and the young lady working said that they could only do two smoothies if it was within 30 min of closing. I laughed and said that was funny and proceeded with my 3 rd smoothie order. She said she was instructed not to do more than two on an order. I said I just have three and she reluctantly accommodate d me. As a business owner myself I am very confused and would terminate anyone who turned business away deliberately. The two times I've been there, once with my fiancé once without (today) the smoothies we order from other locations didn't taste anything like what they normally do. Me, "Sorry but this tastes not anything like what I'm used to, can ai get another?" Employee "I can add another scoop of chocolate for .99 cents" Instead of making another shake every attempt to reconcile the experience was met with wanting me to spend even more money.
