Customer service didn't exist. You can tell they just need a job. When you walk in the establishment smelled like they cleaned the floors with dirty mop water. There were about a handful of young adults waiting for their orders. There were also online orders coming in. It took about 40-45 minutes to get our smoothies. I am not a frequent SK customer, but happened to pop in here after a massage next door. I am not a big fruit fan so I was happy to see they have a few options of the chocolate/peanut butter variety and was even more pumped when I saw they had a coffee based smoothie! I ended up getting a 20 oz High Protein Almond Mocha smoothie and I was impressed. It was well made and was perfectly balanced between coffee and mocha without the overwhelming protein powder after taste you would expect. In addition to the smoothies this location offers cookies, baked goods and other protein snacks as well as supplements and protein powder itself. So far it sounds great, so why not 5 stars? Service and staff, which seems to be a trend at this location based off of the other reviews. The staff was not pleasant to deal with nor were they any variety of nice or friendly. I was the only customer in the store and they still did not have time for me, and there was 3 of them behind the counter. I'm back again. Again another negative review. Literally was the only person in the facility and placed an order sat down. As I'm sitting 3 people walk in. It's only 1 person at the register. 3 more walk in. A girl comes from the back and start making smoothies. 3 smoothies later I'm still sitting there. Lack of organization. It's smoothie king! Home of the $5 medium smoothies! Today I got a mango pineapple smoothie, one of the new hydration mixes. Super refreshing and tasty. This is new for me considering I haven't tried anything without peanut butter! For some reason I love the consistency of the smoothie. I visited this location because it's the closest one from my job location today. I wanted something lite bc I was actually going to do dinner this evening. The staff was friendly and fast. I was kind of in a rush on my lunch break but they managed to get the line down and take care of everyone. COVID-19 has made things hard but this location has managed by wearing masks. Left my Stanley water bottle there for less than 5 minutes when the place was empty and went back for it immediately. I asked the employees if anyone turned it in and they said they saw it "just a few second ago" but just left it on the table, which makes no sense. Ordered a Pineapple Surf with blueberries, spinach, and flaxseed. Upon drinking my smoothie I felt a piece of something in my mouth and when I took it out, it was a piece of metal. Yes, a hard piece of metal. I called and spoke to one of the managers (Latisha) and she laughed at it as though it was a joke and said they don't have anything metal in store. That doesn't mean anything to me being that I could've swallowed it and caused severe damage to myself. I will be contacting the Georgia Department of Health about this issue. read more

It's zero stars.. The sign on the door states due to "staffing shortage we are open for online and delivery orders only the lobby is closed". The door to the establishment is open so you can walk in there. I observed two male employees standing around doing nothing and I was told if I didn't read the sign. I typically come in here on Friday to get a Vanilla Hulk, but I may have to find a new spot. They have an app that you can use and earn points and can get discounts on future orders. I got there and got ready to use the app and was told they don't allow the discounts from the app. I don't understand how that's possible when it's a national chain. So, I decided to stop by Smoothie King on my way to a couple of stores in the area. I was feeling like I had a loss of energy and instead of picking up some fast food, i said why not a smoothie. Since there are a few new flavors and they say different things, I proceeded to ask the guy behind the counter some questions. Why did I ever thing that was a good idea? Well, either he was knew or English wasn't his first language (I have no idea); he didn't understand a thing I was asking. In my Grandma's voice (Bless his heart). Anyway, I look over that issue because I have been new places too. What I was interested in ordering had mangoes and strawberries and had I guess caffeine added. Although I needed the energy, I was not feeling the caffeine has it has me shaking like a junkie. So my question to him was can I get those flavors minus the caffeine, as I said he was new so there was a barrier in answering the question. One of the senior Smoothie King personnel came over to assist with my questions all while trying to prepare smoothies for other patrons who came in before me. Bless her heart too. Anyway, we got everything worked out, I got my smoothie without the caffeine and the guy lived to see three more customers who had more questions than me. Overall, this location is ok; nothing spectacular but it will do. My smoothie was tasty, I didn't start shaking like a junkie since I opted out of the caffeine. I would recommend the products as a meal replacement or snack no issues there, just be sure to ask someone who has been there for answers to your questions, whether common or unusual. I will never go back to this location, ever. I would rather drive to the Powers Ferry location. The smoothies are water down and on top of that, this is the only location that I have ran across that has restrictions on what smoothies you can get for $5 Monday's. I found a finger nail in my smoothie. The staff was mostly kids but they were fairly nice. Some of them seemed like they did not know what they were doing or had a lack of training though. There are usually new employees every time I go but the new ones always seem more confused than the last set of kids. I am addicted to Smoothie King. it's 6:30 am and I am craving a green tea and peach smoothie like it's my job. That being said, this place is seriously awesome. A seemingly infinite number of fruit and enhancer combinations, and all that I've had have been unbelievably tasty. I've been a loyal Smoothie King customer for more than 15 years. This Smoothie King is located in a strip mall next to Regal Cinemas and Golds Gym. It's run like a standard franchise, with smoothies and wheatgrass that taste exactly like any other smoothie king I've ever had. So it's predicable, and I like that. When I'm craving a wheatgrass or a power punch plus, this is where I head. The staff seems to be consistently high school age kids, that do their job well. However, if you're looking for advice on nutritional supplements, you are better off going to a GNC or Whole (Paycheck) Foods. I have noticed a few of the bagged snacks on display were melted and looked old, so I have opted to pass on the pre-packaged snacks. If I could rate this lower than 1 star, I would. On entering the store, the franchisee, Tish, seemed pleasant. Maybe she became annoyed with my niece's indecisiveness. Nonetheless, I could tell my smoothie was incorrect by appearance and I asked for a replacement. Instead of making a new smoothie, Tish took the old smoothie and poured it into a blender with new ingredients. When I tasted the new smoothie, it was still incorrect. Since a line had formed, I told the cashier, I'd take either a NEW smoothie or a refund, whichever was easier. The cashier told Tish and she became even more nasty. Telling him to give me a refund because she did not want to serve me. More ridiculousness not worth posting here. Good luck to you if you decide to 'drink' here. I've been to Smoothie Kings all over the US and always order the same thing. A chocolate gladiator and I substitute the two selections of fruits/veggies for peanut butter. At this location they don't even allow a single peanut butter substitution. I was charged $2.00 to add peanut butter. So two small smoothies were $17.00! What a joke. read more

They deserve zero stars. This is the worst smoothie king location I have ever visited. Why give this business your hard earned money to have your smoothie made improperly and then be treated like a Karen? I told them I had allergies so to not include specific ingredients but they included them anyway and then told me I was "hostile". I had a tooth pulled the day that I visited the cashier Porsha asked me to read her the ingredients from the selected smoothie. Um...isn't that your job? And why couldn't she just turn around and look at the menu? I had to avoid using a straw so I don't get dry socket but she refused to give me a spoon. Couldn't try the smoothie until I got home and tasted the chalky vanilla powder I specifically asked her to omit. The next day I brought my receipt but instead of offering any apology or refund she argued with me and called me "hostile". The "manager" is morbidly obese which reflects she has the same amount of passion for health as for her customer service-ZERO.
