Since I had a baby, my schedule made it difficult for me to use the monthly massages with my membership. I asked if there was someone else and she said the other person is sleeping in...weird. I ended up speaking mandarin so communication could be clear. First she asked me to pay before receiving service, then pressured me to pay in cash instead of card saying that it's not worth it to pay by card because of the extra credit card fee. Then she asked for a tip before I even got the massage. I gave $5 and she said "wow that's not very much" in mandarin. Then she proceeded to give me the massage which just felt like she was rubbing me with oil. She said she was going to use a particular oil that was more expensive and kept saying it's a special oil and she only uses it on special guests. Then asked for more tip at the end. I was uncomfortable the entire time given the social interaction with her and the massage was terrible. If you'd like to engage in awkward conversations while having someone rub you then this is the place to go.

I was flexible so this didn't bother me and they also did not require card to book. They do ask you to pay when you arrive, before you receive the service. I paid $75 total, $60 for the service + $3 fee to use credit card (they have an ATM) and $12 tip. The massage itself was great. My whole body was worked on and medium pressure was more than enough for me. They even did some facial and scalp work which was a nice touch. You get your own room for the massage. Also, it may have just been my experience, but the walls are thin and you can hear a lot of passing voices and footsteps from outside the room and also outside of the building. Overall I recommend this spot for someone who doesn't necessarily want to pay a premium / need any of the special scents or products / frills but still wants a good quality massage.
