From the sailing itself to providing us with everything we needed (glasses for wine, cutlery for snacks, fun history about the lake and Vermont, etc.), I cannot recommend them enough. We did this our last night in Burlington and it was the perfect ending to our vacation. If you are considering this cruise - 1. The website has all the info you need (what to bring, what they provide on the boat, where to park, etc.) 2. The boat was big enough that it wouldn't have bothered us if we had just purchased individual tickets and were with other people. 3. They were so easy to contact and provided the most incredible cheese to go with the margaritas that we brought along. None of the bridesmaids nor the bride are avid sailors (2 had never been on a sailboat) and Jeff made us feel at ease. The day had a bit of rain but cleared into a light misting for our trip and we were able to enjoy the ride without the cover for most of it. The courses were casual and comfortable and taught me basic skills to get me independently out on the water. And the CSC staff were knowledgeable, friendly, kind, patient, and supportive throughout my experience. And once you've learned how to sail, if you don't have a boat or a place to put one... the rentals and reasonably priced season pass practically guarantee you (and any friends or family you might want to bring along) at least a couple hours a day out on a sailboat (or a kayak or paddleboard if there's no wind lol) for the whole summer. It's hard to beat sailing on beautiful Lake Champlain on a sunny and breezy summer day!! Our group was comprised of a 7 year old, a 19 year old (who found Susan online and made the booking), and three adults. Additionally the price was better than the competitors, who did not include the custom carrying case.The website said they were out of stock but would have them in a couple of days. I called the company to confirm, and Steve the owner promptly called me back and said he could ship in 3 days. I placed the order, it was shipped as promised and arrived 3 days later. This is all during the holiday season before Christmas when it can take weeks. It's a great headset and great service from SeaDog.
