After that, it was on to the arena & Valentine, a real horse Rusty Bar Ranch owner and trainer, Kathy really knows horses & also cares about them. She was such a kind & patient teacher. I felt totally comfortable & at ease. She teaches at every level, depending on the student. I've never been happier at a facility where there was no drama or toxicity whatsoever. Their boarding rates for what they offer are very affordable. Feeding was never an issue, their hay is top quality with great choices. They'll feed loose or in a hay net with no fuss and always follow specific grain instructions that you may have. My horses have been treated with dignity and respect. The facility stays clean and well kept, I never once had to worry about my horses living conditions or accessibility to clean water. Their amenities are phenomenal, and the arena is huge with so much space and equipment to work with. It's safe to say that if you ever bored here you'll have no concern for your horse, I truly couldn't say enough nice things about this facility!

The facility itself is clean, as clean can be anyways. There are about 15 or so stables for the horses. Plenty of area for them to hang out too. There is an indoor and outdoor arena. The indoor arena is a little small and perfect for beginners and cold rainy days. The outdoor arena is large with jumping bars. We have Tracy as our instructor and boy can she do her job well. She has lots of patience with my daughter but she also knows when to challenge her to help her become a better rider. I totally recommend her for lessons. Overall this place is great, check it out if you have a chance.

I boarded a horse here for several years, leasing him to another client in the barn when I left for college and ultimately selling him with Shannon's help. The level of care is excellent; I never worried about my horse when I was not around, knowing he was in good hands. Shannon (the owner/trainer) lives on the premises and keeps a close eye on things. The horses are happy, healthy, and get regular turnout. I didn't realize that these basic things were so hard to find until I moved away and started riding elsewhere. In some areas, good turnout is nearly impossible to find. SWF also offers a beautiful, large outdoor ring, a covered round pen, and a nice new heated tackroom. The indoor arena is on the small side, but it's quite functional and it definitely teaches you to look through your corners and set up for every fence! In summary, SWF provides excellent horse care and training for hunters and jumpers, with well-maintained facilities and knowledgeable, reliable barn management.

What I like about this place, is that it teaches kids how to take care of a horse. You don't just put your kid on a horse, slap the horses rump, and tell the kid to hold on. Kids are expected to clean out the stall of the horse they ride, they need to brush the the horse down, clean its hooves, etc. My wife joined a ladies riding group on Sundays. They have ponies and horses of all sizes. They also do dressage and do jumping! They might be the same thing, but I am new to horse terminology, so don't judge me! I like going there to help out just to be around the horses. When I am having a bad day, the horses sense it, cheer me up! I highly recommend this farm.

They don't follow the rules they have in their SOP and if you have any some questions or concerns you have to email them even if it's a small question example: is the sky blue ? And careful they will write you a warning without telling you and treat you like trash this place is a waste of time and money for a boarding facility that just takes your money and then will boot you out after 90 days (probation period) I'm glad we left there to many snowflakes and Karen's if you don't kiss their butts they will boot you out.
