Disposable vapes are the only thing I buy, so I really appreciate having so many options to choose from. I also want to give a special shoutout to David. He never makes me feel rushed or like I'm being a bother, which I genuinely appreciate. It's always nice walking into a place where someone takes the time to help you without making you feel pressured. I've been to other Bahama Mama locations, but this one is definitely my favorite. The kind you wished everyone stumbled into upon arriving in Houston. You get a sense of both a mini bodega and a smoke shop when you walk in. The low hum of a beverage cooler hoarding a variety of interesting drinks is what speaks to you first, then a quick glance around and it seems everything is pulling you towards it to take a look. That's the cool thing about these kind of shops, you don't really know what you'll stumble upon, what your eyes will land on before anyone else. My first time was about 2 years ago, and I came back recently only for the inside to have expanded and now people can enjoy yummy daiquiris as well in a laid back dining room. I've came in while one of the employees was jamming their oldies' mix and it honestly felt like a little break from the world. A little time out. I love places like these in the way they hold space.
