What a spot. Amazing food, cool vibe. Yea it's a bit pricey but food is so damn good, it's worth the splurge.

We arrived a couple minutes before they opened on a Saturday morning. The crew was super friendly. Everybody seemed very happy to help out. This was my first time at Smoked and I always judge a BBQ joint by the pulled pork. The pulled pork was the perfect level of moisture, smoke, and seasoning. I would definitely say this is the best BBQ spot I have found in Montana. I used to live in Memphis and I am very picky about BBQ. I would absolutely go back again. I see why this place runs out of meat regularly. Usually places this good and this busy don't have good service. The people were all amazingly pleasant. Do yourself a favor and check this place out... I promise I will next time I'm back in town. read more

I NEVER post reviews but I just witnessed the most blatant rudeness from the young lady whose family owns this business. A lady and her husband sat down at a table because he had knee surgery and were looking at the menu, so she could get in line to order. This owner kicked them out for saving tables. She argued with them, and made NO exceptions. The food is always great, but my stomach turned after witnessing this!!! read more

Stopped in for an early lunch as we have heard time and again how great the BBQ here is. We split the five meat, four side dish. My personal favorites were the pulled pork and smoked Turkey. Others in our group also loved the ribs. The corn bread muffins were delicious and I really liked their spicy slaw. They do have seating inside but everyone was taking their orders to-go. I didn't notice any signs as far if they are allowing dine-in currently. I generally don't get BBQ out because it pales in comparison to what my dad makes, but this was definitely worth the stop. We came for ribs and we got... really good food but they were sold out of ribs. Fortunately, their daily special was pastrami, so we got the big meal deal with sausage, brisket, and pastrami. Wow. That pastrami was the best I've ever had. The brisket was a little dry but having lived in Austin I'm totally spoiled by Franklin's and the farmer's market there. It was still incredibly good. Surprisingly, the sides were as good as the meats. Granted I just came from canoeing the Missouri river so maybe I was just super hungry but those baked beans and coleslaws are incredibly good! read more

We always try to gear our trips to Great Falls around when Smoked is open! We love their pork belly, brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork and sausage. The spicy slaw is AMAZING. They have 5 or 6 different BBQ sauces that are available at your table. My only negative is the Mac n Cheese...it's creamy and cheesy but bland. Best BBQ we have found in Montana! This is quite possibly the BEST BBQ I have ever had. Once you walk in, its set up very similar to a chipotle or a MOD pizza ordering system.. you order at the register and then attempt to find a seat. Unfortunately because they are so delicious and their restaurant isn't very big, its a bit difficult to find a seat at times (even though you can't even grab a seat until you "have the meat" meaning until you have your food). Overall, they are too delicious not to go back. One thing to note is that they don't necessarily have restaurant closing hours.. because they make their food fresh daily.. once they run out, they close for the day so get their quick! PROS: delicious food, super friendly staff (I believe it is a mixture of mom, dad and daughter), good prices CONS: parking lot is SO small and has a HUGE pot hole right in the middle of it (not their fault), weird hours (you never really know if theyre open.. good thing GF is small!), small restaurant with not a ton of seating. read more

You cant go wrong for their meat get it when its hot and while it lasts. I personally love their brisket and pork belly anything! ribs are moist and tender with the right amount of bite. The food from beef brisket, pork belly, bbq ribs, pulled pork and etc are all so tender, juicy, well cooked and marinated. I can't believe it's been 18 months since I first reviewed Smoked. I love the brisket and the turkey. The take out service has been fast and friendly during this difficult, strange Covid-19 time. The service is great and even though I'm not military, I'm glad to see this restaurant support and honors our military with specials. My husband loves getting "real" sweet tea and I love the regular Mac and cheese. read more
