Probably the best bbq in great falls. The portions are decently sized and you have different bbq flavor options.

We have ordered lunch from there several times during support local. It is an amazing establishment of homemade goodness.

I would like to say this is probably the best local BBQ place in GreatFalls and possibly the best in Montana. I have not eaten at every BBQ joint in the state so it's hard for me to say it's the best but it's definitely top 3 for sure. Everything is fresh and spot on. They are sold out almost always before close, so we go early. My wife wishes they were open later for an actual dinner and not a brunch lunch place. But it's understandable for family and quality control. Definitely a must eat if coming to GF. read more

Best barbeque in Montana, hands down! I had the brisket, and it is awesome. I had Martin BBQ in Nashville last year and this one was better than their brisket. I also had three spicy slaw, which was very good, and the potato salad which was different than most but ok. Loved the sauces, and I tried three of them, the Alabama poultry, Texas beef, and Carolina pork. Since it was brisket the Texas beef tasted the best, but the white Alabama was really good on it, too. The Carolina pork would be excellent on pork. Can't wait to go back. read more

I have chosen wait to write a review for this place. From the first time I went to Smoked (beginning of summer) up until today, I have been more than pleased with every aspect of this restaurant. The service is warm and welcoming. The staff is put together. Seating area is always clean. The decor is classic yet modern and in no way outdated (rare for great falls). But above all that... The food is absolutely delicious. I've never ordered something I didn't like. The food is always hot, the meat is never dry, and their potato salad reminds me of something my Nana served me in the summer time for a snack while resting from play. I've never really known much about the process or reasoning behind cooking meats a certain way, but the staff is extremely informative. When people ask me where the best place in town to eat, I tell them Smoked. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone living here in GF or just passing through. If it's your first time, get yourself Pulled Pork Plate, with a bun (.75), and a side of beer cheese (.50) My favorite sides are the Mac & Cheese and the potato salad. Don't wait. I travel the US for work and am in hotels 12 plus days a month. This place hands down has the most flavorful BBQ and sides of any BBQ in any state I have been in. If you like bbq, Smoked is a MUST in Great Falls. I consider myself a bbq connoisseur and they nail it! Meat is smoked fresh daily, and served only at lunch till they run out. Fresh bbq in limited quantities is the only way to serve real bbq. Brisket was melt in your mouth tender. Ribs had a subtle pepper rub that added a lot of flavor. Pork belly was served in a tangy sauce and I couldn't get enough of. They know bbq and do it right. Go! read more

I have eaten "southern BBQ" in many of the southern states of the US. This may not fit exactly into that category for you, but it will remind you of what you miss from the south. They have every single meat dialed in and their sides are perfect pairings with house made sauces! Show up early, because they are setting new records for running out! This is the place to get perfectly smoked meat either fresh or frozen to take home, and they also can provide for a party with enough notice. Was a really good bbq joint in the small city of great falls. The brisket was delicious and corn bread was perfect. Mac and cheese was rich and delicious. Unfortunately the hot link tasted more like a mild brat, the flavor was off and wasn't spicy at all. Overall the food was delicious. read more

Holy crap!! Everyone has been raving about this place and I finally got to try it. Not a huge fan of pork, I only like it every once in a while. I tried the turkey the first time with Mac and cheese and potato salad and all I can say is Wow!! Great falls I feel like is lacking in restaurants so I hope this one stays. A little pricey, but totally worth it. The peppered sauce is amazing with anything! Later tried the pulled pork with slaw and baked beans and also tasted great. Will definitely be returning. They have a smaller menu but also so many options to mix. Really impressed with this place, I'm from the south so I know good pork and Smoked probably is one of my favorite places now. read more

Carnivore's Dream! Been here twice in a month and will keep returning. Better than anyplace in town and I would even say it's better than Notorious P.I.G. in Missoula. My wife and I shared the 5 meat/4 side meal for $27 and pay the extra $3 to upgrade for ribs. That's dirt cheap and it's a ton of deliciously smoked meat. She loves the ribs and brisket, I love everything I've had there so far. They were limiting how much they cook so they do run out if u don't go early...but it's worth it. read more

Best barbecue in town imo! The brisket was delicious and was sad to see my portion disappear. I couldn't possibly have eaten all of it that quickly could I? The sides I ordered were the baked beans and the spicy slaw. Baked beans were good and above average. That slaw is uh-mazing!! It did make my bald head sweat so if you're not into spicy heat maybe skip it but hey that's your loss. I witnessed excellent customer service above and beyond expectations. read more

Best restaurant in GF. I eat here about once a week. BBQ super consistent. Rib texture is perfect. Sides are good. Love this place.

The food here is amazing! Without a doubt the best smoked meat in the city. I've eaten here 4 times, and each time the food was incredible. The service is great. The price is fair. And yet, I only give them 3 stars. If you know how to smoke a brisket better than anyone else, people will buy your brisket. But if you want to run a restaurant, you also have to know business. You have to know advertising. You have to know customer service. You have to know management of both people and assets. You have to know budgets. Being able to offer a good product at a fair price is essential, but it's not everything. I have eaten at SMOKED 4 times. But I have been here for lunch 11 times. The other 7 times, at lunchtime (randomly between 11 am and 2 pm on different days of the week) I was greeted with a locked door and a sign that said "sold out please come again". Yesterday, the birthday girl in our office said she wanted to go to SMOKED for her birthday lunch. We all eagerly agreed. Until we realized that if they were closed when we got there, we would have to go someplace else and rush through lunch to get back to work on time. We decided to just go someplace else. Sorry, SMOKED, but I need to know I can count on you to cook enough of that amazing food to meet the demand you have created. Great food at a good price. I'd give it 5 stars but I was disappointed in the cold bun they served my BBQ pork on. The rest was delicious so be prepared to not find a place to sit if it's close to lunch time. This was my first visit since they opened and I was pleasantly surprised at how fast and efficient it was to get in and out.
