Anyways, that piece was not only beautiful, extremely functional, but it was built like Fort Knox, I thought it was unbreakable, until I dropped it on solid, frozen pavement this winter, ending its long illustrious career - as my pipe. So I went back, and IDK if they treat every customer like this - but they treated me, a random dude with $100 to spend, they treated me like a King, no joke. I left with a plethora of goodies, some on the house (who doesn't love a free Bic?!) and just an over all great experience all over again. I hate to sound like a total stoner, but it's cool when you walk out of a place, and can feel the culture/vibe of the place leave with you. AND they have a BOSS ass Doberman that hangs around - what more can you want in a Head Shop? Headies is the place to go. You can tell by my long winded, positive as shit, review

Yep, that's what happened to me over the weekend. When I noticed, I did a quick search and discovered Smoke Zone Smoke Shop just up the street from me. Located on the busy corner of High St. and 5th Ave., this smoke shop is currently off the beaten path due to construction, but provides nothing short of helpful, attentive service. Street parking doesn't exist in this area of the Short North right now, but here in a few months it should be available again. Until then, there's a small parking lot across the street, right next to BrewDog. I made the quick trek across the street, dodging construction workers and makeshift ramps to be greeted immediately. At a quick glance, I noticed they had what I needed but I browsed around for a minute too. They really offer everything you need if you're a smoker of any kind. From large glass bongs to vape pens and everything in between (yes, there's a lot in between), they've got it. Their prices are on par with what I've seen at other similar establishments too. I'll definitely be back and I really appreciate how friendly their staff was. Pro tip - they got a stellar check-in offer for a free pack of rolling papers. Just an FYI... you're welcome!

I have no idea what I'm looking for, what to buy and how to use it. To any normal salesman I was an easy sell and he could of just thrown devices at me and be done with it. However Mack helped me along the entire process, understanding what I needed, my level of knowledge and type of juice I liked on top of that. I bought a nice vape for nicotine and one for the little capsules for CBD. I walked away from that store with confidence knowing I made a good purchase. I wanna especially give a shout out to Mack for taking into account of me being a Veteran and giving a very nice discount. I will always come back to this store for my vape needs.

Unfortunately, bartender Gage (short guy with bluish hair) managed to ruin the experience over a completely unnecessary personal reaction. He took it personally, became defensive, and apparently decided that was enough reason to ban me from the shop. It's disappointing when a bartender's personal ego outweighs customer loyalty. Half Baked has lost my business and my recommendation. I'll gladly spend my money somewhere that actually values its regular customers.
