I got my first piece from Headies about 7 years ago, Christmas 2014. I believe they said it was blown by an artist named Brent Cook? (Sorry if my memory fails me!) Anyways, that piece was not only beautiful, extremely functional, but it was built like Fort Knox, I thought it was unbreakable, until I dropped it on solid, frozen pavement this winter, ending its long illustrious career - as my pipe. So I went back, and IDK if they treat every customer like this - but they treated me, a random dude with $100 to spend, they treated me like a King, no joke. I left with a plethora of goodies, some on the house (who doesn't love a free Bic?!) and just an over all great experience all over again. I hate to sound like a total stoner, but it's cool when you walk out of a place, and can feel the culture/vibe of the place leave with you. Headies Hideout separates the men from the boys; This isn't your run of the mill headshop. I just purchased a pipe over iMessage--talk about convenient and futuristic! Not only was the sale essentially seamless, but the service that Cam provided throughout the entire transaction was exceptional and exemplary. Cam remained patient and understanding while I chose between two very similar pipes and even sent me comparison photos/videos. I have been coming to this shop since they opened around 5 years ago and haven't stopped since. I've bought roughly 4-5 pieces through them and have thoroughly enjoyed every single one. Even though I am not a high roller, I am still treated like an important customer by all of the Headies staff, even those that don't know I have been a long time customer. I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants quality glass, products or customer service. It won't be your neighborhood cheap smoke shop, but they have reasonable prices for excellent products and superior customer service better than most industries. Jeff and Jared helped me out today after my PuffCo Plus was working improperly after 12 hours. Came into the store annoyed at PuffCo but was relieved by the help of Headies! Ripoffs. They are mad overpriced on many products. They sold me a defective Puffco atomizer where the ceramic heating element burned and cracked after 3 days of not even heavy use on the lower settings. I was willing to provide proof of purchase and everything, and I understand that you can't replace what's been used, but you could at least do something more than five dollars off a $40 atomizer win the one that was sold to me didn't even last three whole days. Seems like they are more concerned with profit than anything. Don't get ripped off like me, I won't be returning that's for sure. Find your working products at another head or smoke shop if you don't want to be disappointed. read more

Easily the best glass shop in Columbus- certainly the best shop I've visited in general but that's simply my personal opinion(as reviews are). Upon entering you are immediately greeted by an owner who is excited about helping you find exactly what you're hunting for without being overbearing. They are extremely excited and knowledgable about their glass work and know each piece on an artist by artist basis, as well as where all of the artists hail from. With a great selection of hand crafted, all American glass work, you are destined to find what you're looking for. Whether it be a high priced, multi-color water piece or a simple chillum, their selection is astounding. Often when I go to shops I see one to four pieces I truly desire and am immediately knocked back to two or one because of quality or price. It's not so at Headies! I can't help but want damn near all their pieces. You would think I would have run out of things to say about a simple, local owned glass shop, and yet somehow I am not. Not only do they go above and beyond as I have mentioned above, but they make sure you are fully equipped with everything you might possibly need, which includes demoing you their fantastic stinky bags or H62 pouches, as well as outfitting you with a great case to keep your beautiful glass safe and sound. All that being said if you're this far into a yelp review you clearly wanted to visit anyway. So just go and see. Plus, there's no eloquent way to say the dudes there are just chill. I ordered my absolute dream piece from these people...: they were so nice. And so helpful, until it got to shipping, these people apparently have never been in a post office or FedEx in their lives. But they continued to push me away from the shipping method I desired and now my piece is going to be sitting in the post office till ones of them can help me out..... thanks, for nothing. Visited Headies for the first time with my boyfriend (who had been there before) yesterday. I was surprised at how genuine, upfront & honest the man who owns the shop was. He was so helpful, patient & he had a really cool/adorable/huge dog so what more can you ask for. Local glass & good pricing for good quality pieces.
